Professional staff, delicious sake, and great hibachi course offerings. Food was very, very oily for my taste. Not bad at all - not excellent either. Just our most underwhelming meal in Vegas.
The food was great though a bit salty. Still fresh and well cooked. It’s always fun to eat at a hibachi place but this show was a little thin and we felt rushed to leave. The decor was fabulous, both dramatic and calming at the same time.
The ambiance was absolutely amazing! The best yet from any Benihana we’ve been too!!
The food was not the best. Not very flavorable. From Denver and eat at that location often. Food is much better. Had to ask for salad several times. Chef ended up getting the soy sauce and the salads,
Food was fantastic service excellent I will come back
Yes I love Benihana! I go when ever I can. I spent my 76th birthday their with about 12 of my friends. We all had our pictures taken and they all turned out great Mary Rotar
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. We weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink. It was my bday so I wanted to try the saki. The little old lady brought water out. They sat us at a table with two other women that was going to a concert. I guess that was more important than the chef show. So basically our dinner was rushed. They didn't cook the rice at the table, just brought it out in bowls not to mention white rice not fried rice. I will never visit that place again. The manager didn't even acknowledge my birthday $30 off. Y'all definitely lost 4 customers on my birthday
Fun evening, delicious food, great service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Always come to this location when we frequent Vegas
Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food. We celebrated my Husbands bday. A little pricey but worth it.
Third time here and again it was great. Dinner and a “show” all in one. Food was awesome.
Cannot understand chef jokes. Jokes makes eating more confusing. Chef should have more space to move around.
The rice was dry and crunchy and only offered Frye’s rice for a up charge so I payed more for it and steamed rice was prob better. The chicken was plain just salt and pepper the dipping sauces were gross. I will not be back ever
Too loud and overpriced. I compared it to several other Habaci grills that I have eaten at and this one is no different other than the higher price
Food and ambiance was AMAZING!!! Great experience overall definitely be back in future :)
Very wonderful staff
Such warm and friendly service. Big thanks to Kenny our server and Henry our ‘chef’!
Definitely not the best chef we’ve ever had. Food wasn’t that great, he was super sloppy and to be honest kinda just threw your food down on your plate... not sure if I would visit this location in the future...
Waitress serving drinks, salad, soup, was not very friendly and seem rushed and slow service
A little slow start but absolutely worth the wait. Our waiter was fabulous, the cook fun and the food outstanding.
I highly recommend this Benihana.
Had a great time. The chef was most entertaining and probably best we ever experienced. Had the most atmosphere of any of your restaurants we've been to.
The staff was very nice. Thank you for making our special night perfect! Our food was great & our cook was superb!
Thank you again!
We went to have dinner and celebrate our Anniversary. Everything was wonderful. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful first of all when you walk inside the decor itself already says you are in a Japanese Steakhouse! The staff was very courteous and even remembered our name during our dining. The chef was Amazing and remembered that we were there for a celebration and the food and cocktails just DELICIOUS!! We will be returning! We had a lot of fun and great food too!!
I enjoyed the food but you pay less in California and you get better service. I told the waitress it was my moms birthday and they come and sing, but that didn't happen. Then there was a lady taking pictures and was charging an outrages price for them. I understand its Las Vegas but it was my moms first time going there. The waitress was not on top of everything.
Omar was Outstanding!!!!! Thank you for making my birthday an enjoyable evening 🥰🙏👍🥳
Long wait for chef. 2 hours to be exact
Very good time, food was great, can't beat the cooks/show! This Benihana is in the old Vegas Hilton and there are gardens and a brook to walk thru, really a fun evening
The ambiance is beautiful; I requested to be in a more private area but was seated in the general teppanyaki area on the 2nd floor; the food was tasty however the mushrooms are unnecessary and the fried rice should be without chicken as it made the meal heavier; overall the Benihana at Westgate is more beautiful than other locations. We hope to return again.
Such an amazing experience. My family had the best time and omg the food was amazing. Thank you!!
Horrible customer service
My mom, sister and I were there to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. Sachi was our waitress and Henry was our chef. Sachi was the sweetest! Very happy with a great smile and seemed to enjoy her job. I told her we enjoyed her energy and she gave me a big hug. Henry was also great as our chef. One of the guests at our table had a chipped bowl and Henry and Sachi made sure that issue was taken care of immediately. Henry cooked her up another bowl of fried rice! This is the largest Benihana's there is and is run like a well-oiled machine. Will definitely return!
Hard pass on going there. Save your money and go somewhere else. Mediocre food. If you’ve been to hibachi it’s usually half the price of Benihana with a better show same quality food.
Delicious food and great service
You would expect the chef to put on a good show while cooking. My home town place had chefs with better tricks .
I had always wanted to go to Benihana, but never had the opportunity until I visited the location at West Gate in Las Vegas. This Benihana is a very elaborate restaurant, made with a dark wood, and about a hundred illuminated red lanterns hanging from the ceiling. There was a Japanese garden inside, with a small bubbling brook and a winding boardwalk running through the room. The hostess, in her kimono, lead my hibachi table companions and me through the restaurant. We passed rooms with paper walls and sliding doors with cranes & lotus flowers painted on them. Beyond the ambiance, the food was amazing and our chef was top notch and a lot of fun. I recommend visiting this Benihana for an evening of quality food and fun. A night to fondly remember.
The chef we had was amazing he interacted with the whole entire party he made us laugh he had funny jokes berry fun ambience
The cook is horrible. He doesn’t know how to cook, the food comes too raw or over cooked. No entertainment at all. Also, the food cook sequence is wrong. We have 3 groups at our table. Everyone disappointed.
Of course the food was delicious, I just a little perturbed with the seating & the whole process of waiting until the table is full before the chef comes out, especially when you have reservations is annoying.
Seating is too tight & close , awkward when you're at a table with strangers.
