Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino Ratings and Reviews
Going to Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino was a great solo experience. Since I was unsure who would be eating with me, my randomly chosen dinner company was perfect. The ambience, service, and location made this choice a no-brainer. Our chef was classic Benihana, good with knives, fire, and just the right amount of humor, as there were children in the party. I highly recommend the salmon with shiitake mushrooms, vegetables, and udon noodles. Next time, I will bring my wife for a date night. Highly recommend.
No matter how many times we visit Benihana it never ceases to entertain me and my wife. The atmosphere is great and the place is just absolutely beautiful. We visit for my wife's birthday every year but this time we celebrated our 30th anniversary and it was great.
Setup reservation for 7:30 for 3 of us, we were early and arrived at 7, so they gave us pager. It was Sat, but it didn't really seem that busy. Our pager never went off and we waited until 7:35 and went up to desk and they said they were looking for us?!? We were right in front next to the Italian restaurant less than 20 steps away. Asked us to wait and then 5 mins they sat us at a hibachi table and we sat there another 20 mins before we got drinks which at the same time they sat another couple (obviously waiting because they wanted to fill table). It was 45 mins before the chef showed and he did a very lackluster performance, not anything close to the experience we were used to. Food was meh. Wont go back
If you want an authentic Teppen Experience then you should certainly come to this restaurant. Depending of the Chef, the dining experience is amazing as you're being entertained as your food is prepared before your eyes! Only issue I have with this specific location is the menu prices are double then a stand alone location. Be prepared to pay more if you eat here. But the food was great and the Teppen Chef did an amazing job in entertaining the table and the food was very tasty and portions were generous.
Benihana at the Westgate Hotels, is a great dinner experience. The staff is all kind and the food is theatrically prepared, before you all. My family and I have eaten, here, at this particular Japanese Steakhouse, over a dozen times and we always leave happy and satisfied.
It was a typical busy Hibachi restaurant. The food was okay but honestly it was nothing special. The food is a bit on the pricy side for a hibachi restaurant and they charge for condiments which is off putting considering the overall cost of the meal to begin with. The cook would only ask one person at the table about adding something to the food and would then take that as a blanket statement for the entire table. Overall it was okay but not quite worth the cost.
We had a decent meal. I would say the one negative was that the way the meats were cooked some at the table had their main meat source long before others at the table. My business companaign got his fish long before I got my Steak and the chicken cam even much later. He had to wait for me to finish my entrees so we could leave. Very disappointed from that standpoint. At other locations we have all gotten our food more closely grouped together.
Happy chef and waitresses despite an apparent labor dispute at the hotel. Food was well prepared and all had a good time. My shrimp appetizer was perfect. My chicken could have been left on several minutes less than it was as it was slightly dried out and over cooked.
Overall a great time.
We were here for our 8th anniversary and it would have been a great time if we were sat at a different table. We were sat at a table with a dad and his two kids and a couple with their kid. We should have planned a lunch here instead of an anniversary dinner. The food and our chef was great though.
One of the most elaborate Benihana Restaurants in the chain, this vintage Vegas outpost at the "hotel where Elvis sang" is a terrific treat if you're in Vegas and want to have some fun. The food is fresh and delicious. The drinks are good, and the service and cooking "performance" are deligthful.
We've dined at many Benihana restaurants before including this location, but our experience tonight was top-notch. Our server Hau kept our drinks full all night and gave us prompt, polite attention - much better than we are used to receiving. Our chef, Tang, was absolutely exceptional. He used techniques we hadn't seen before, including melting garlic butter then tossing the finished meats in it, and all of the food was even more amazing than usual.
In general, this location is the best Benihana in Las Vegas - the large vent hoods over the tables keep it well-ventilated, the staff are experienced and well-trained, the tables are clean and sanitary, the whole ambiance of the restaurant is more fun because of some creative interior design. Avoid its sister location in the Fashion Show Mall at all costs - it smells terribly of burned oil (and when you leave, you do too!), there's terrible service, cramped tables and the cooking top tables did not look as clean as they should be - including the "trash" chute on one end of the table that was dirty and disgusting.
Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino was excellent for New Year’s Eve celebration. Food was really good and service was great. Dinner ended at 11:50 p.m. just in time to celebrate 2018.
A live band was there at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino playing rock music that made it so perfect for us to ring in 2018. Benihana at Westgate made our new year’s celebration a place for making such a good memories.
Yes, I’d recommend Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino to colleagues, Friends and family.
Thank you for making us feel at home and for giving us such a great service!
