   Was disgusting and tasted like nothing. Had to wait over an hour to be seated.

   Brought family to celebrate Grandma’s bday. Haven’t been to Benihana over 5 yrs. Server & chef didn’t have much has personality. Ordered Hibachi steak and Seafood dish. All was very salty, nothing memorable. Everything overpriced, definitely not returning .

   My family & I enjoyed dining at the Benihana in Westbury. It was a nice experience. I would definitely go again.

   Ive been to many Benihana’s before and this is the only time I can say I had an horrible experience. Our chef was not interactive at all. No conversation, no joking, nothing. Total blank slate. At other Benihana’s the chef talks and pretends the onion is a train etc… This man went over our menu and that was the extent of the conversation. I asked if they would be able to sing happy birthday and I got just the waitress by herself. There was a man in the woman’s bathroom, horrible, horrible experience for a $400 bill. Never again.

   First of all this location was the worst Benihana Ive ever been too. It was dirty and the service was horrible. From the start our waiter was rude and had no patience and didnt try to hide it. He would get upset if we didnt answer him quickly and when i asked about a specific dessert he told me it would take 20 minutes to make. He would roll his eyes and snap at any of us if we asked him for anything. It was a very unpleasant experience especially when I was there with 6 people and paying alot of money to dine there. I would NEVER go back there or recommend

   Two words....garlic butter. The noise level here is rather high. It's a very kid friendly place with multiple parties going on. However if you dont mind this, the food here is out of this world. I enjoyed the surf side. Grilled calamari, shrimp and scallops. The scallops are a little small and dry but beyond this the food is fantastic. The chicken fried rice is out of this world. The cooks are friendly and will cook to your liking. Steak is very tender. Will go back

   The woman having a ‘reversal of fortune’ in the restroom aa we were leaving the restaurant was the ‘icing’ on a disgusting cake that was lunch at the Benihana in Westbury, NY. I should have left when the host ignored my group and failed to seat us with another group being seated despite us having a reservation and despite there being plenty of seating at that table. But no, I ignored my better judgement and stayed. When we finally were seated it was a comedy of errors between the chef not having the correct amount of chicken and supplies (he had to leave the table twice while out food was cooking which resulted in over cooked steak and burnt rice), a pathetic two-row onion volcano, and more. When we finally tasted out burnt food it was overloaded!!! salt, oil, and butter!!! Overall, the food was gross, service was poor, and the lady p*king in the bathroom epitomized the whole thing.

    Service was ok but food was extremely salty. prices seemed overly high compared to the same type of restaurant I have gone to.
