   This place was packed when we got there but honestly I don’t know why because the food was very mediocre and I didn’t find it cheap. I did not enjoy my food at all. I would have been better off ordering in at home.

   I've never had a bad meal at Benihana, and have gone there over many years.

   Food wasn't bad, but service was not great. If I had to go again, I would go somewhere else.

   I need to speak to someone in corporate as I told the Manager of my prodicament. And couldn't give me in touch with them . As I told her that when I purchased my e-gift card the purchase went through on my credit card but when sending the comformation to my e-mail it was denied. I have been getting stuff from OpenTable on my computer. However, it didn't work when buying the card. I tried to go into my accout and it said it didn't exist Which is wrong, if I have been getting stuff from OpenTable and Benihana prior, to the purchasing of the card. I would appreciate a call back from someone from corporate so I can resolve this issue, since my B-day is coming up at the beginning of June. Please have someone call me on my Landline phone not on my cell which is 516 221-2992 this phone does not except text messages. Thank you Sincerely Fran Gusoff

   We were hoping for a special dinner, but unfortunately it fell short. We chose hibachi for the experience — the fun, the energy, the atmosphere — but it felt flat. There were moments of excitement, but overall it didn’t meet the vibe or value we expected. Service was another letdown. There were more hosts than actual waitstaff. While three hosts stood idly behind us, our whole table waited for one overwhelmed, unexperienced server to handle everything. It’s understandable that hosts are meant to seat guests, but when there aren't enough staff to serve the customers already there, it just feels poorly managed. We saved our budget to enjoy something special, and walked away disappointed — it just wasn’t worth it.

   Horrible service and server had a bad attitude. We had kids and had to wait 40 min before they started cooking

    Was absolutely horrible. Had an 8:15 reservation, didn’t sit until 9:15, order wasn’t taken until 9:45. Was sat with a very large family that had dietary restrictions so my family’s food never touched the grill as the tofu had to be made before any meat. My 10 year old did not have food in front of her until 10:20pm. After complaining our food was made in the kitchen. Salads never came as they were “out.” The chef did not even put on a show; he just cooked. That was our first and last time ever going.
