The food was great! Our chef Eric was amazing! The waiter we had was a bit slow, with the amount of people in the restaurant at the time I don’t think we should have waited 30 mins for waters. But none the less, the experience was great !
Our cook didn't know what he was doing. It was so busy everything felt rushed. Food was barely edible... Oil dripped from the vent hood onto our plates and not even an apology from the manager. But the situation was fixed quick. Only good thing about the night was our waitress was friendly. Will not be returning, our local Hibachi place surpasses this establishment.
Server and chef were slow; chef Ono couldn’t even put on a show. Food prepared was average at best; tried to add salt but shaker was clogged. Even though we ordered signature meals, had to flag server down to get my green tea and ice cream. Did not meet expectations at all!!!!!

Good food but we had to wait for the cook show up 30 min. after salad and drink served.

This was Mother's day so we expected a lot of people and it was! Yet, we were seated at our reserved time and from there the experience got better. They had a special menu which did not include some of the items which I have enjoyed in the past, but it was alright.
I took my family there for Mother's Day and celebrated four family member's birthdays. The food was great and service was awesome! I could not have asked for anything else! Thank you Benihana!
We brought our Mom here for Mothers Day, the atmosphere was very pleasant, the food was delicious, we also love the presentation of preparing the food. If you're looking to get out and enjoy, i highly recommend this restaurant.
Had reservations for 1PM but I was seated until 2PM. Other than that everything was great!
Went for Mother’s Day. As expected it was crowded. The food was excellent. The service was a little slow but not unexpected for the day.

We made a reservation, arrived early and still had to wait an hour to be seated. This is very difficult when you have elderly and small children in our party. Our cook, I think his name was Fobbs, I could tell he was very new or just didn't seem interested in impressing us. He spent the majority of the time visiting with a couple at the end of the table, almost fawning over them, serving them large portions, etc. He paid little mind to his instructions, i.e., shellfish allergy or chopping up food finely as requested. This is my fourth time to Benihana and I enjoy it. My family enjoyed it and I kept my feelings to myself. If I can request another cook, I will probably go again. Otherwise, probably not this location.
Great time at Benihana's. Chef was very knowledgeable very entertaining this was my mom's first time going to Benihana and she really enjoyed it. Our Chef made the difference. He was very energetic and he very very very entertaining will be back very soon even if it's just for lunch.
We had a group of 5, ranging in ages from 4 to 70. (Plus there was another couple at the table.) We were celebrating a birthday, Mother's Day and a new home, all at once. Our waiter, Josh, was great; we didn't lack for anything. Both the waiter and the chef were a lot of fun and did a great job keeping everyone entertained. We all had steak and/or lobster and everything was prepared exactly the way we requested. You can dress up or go in casual; it's all good!
Table service was very slow... young man seemed overwhelmed. He didn't put in my request for bean sprouts. Chef Erich was very good but overcooked my steak that was requested at med rare and came out closer to well-done. He did offer to redo it but not very convenient with others dining on main course. We had to ask for soy sauce as none was provided with sushi. (Waited 15 minutes and ended up getting it ourselves.) Drink refills weren't offered we had request them (non alcoholic).
The 2 people with me had never been to a hibachi style restaurant. It was embarrassing but at least they enjoyed the food and entertainment. I spent $46+ pp and really deserved better service/dining experience!
The last 3 times I have been disappointed, I was in for a letting this last time and waited 45 mins before I had to get my meal to-go. The server or nobody thought to let my party and I know that they were backed up in the kitchen with to-go orders. The time before I sat at the table an hour and 15 minutes before the chef came to cook our meal. Our server “was cut” and left without letting us know and then we were rushed to finish our meal because it was 11:15 and the restaurant was already closed. I won’t even discuss the time before that when they gave my to-go order to the wrong person and gave me a completely wrong meal. I use to love this place but I am tired of being let down by it especially for the price I pay. Other hibachi grills may not taste as good but at least the service exists at their restaurants.
I went there to celebrate my birthday. Despite mentioning on my reservation that it was for my birthday and we wanted it to be special. Nothing special was done, no song, no dessert, .....oh wait I did get extra rice...but nothing special. We spent $160-$180 for 4 people. I felt I could have gotten better service and food somewhere else for that price.
Benihana used to be more of a special dining type restaurant, and now it's become just average...not sure what's happened to them. The chefs do not seem well-rehearsed--even though they are the same old skits they have always done. Our chef even admitted to "being up all night with a 5 year old", so he was very distracted. It's understandable that he might not be up to par, but I wouldn't draw attention to it in front of customers.
Took the family for my birthday on a Sunday night. They were not very busy and we had a table to ourselves. The food was great and the chef was friendly and entertaining. The waiter was a little slow despite it not being busy.

Terrible!! I usually going to eat at Benihana because my daughter like it. But every time tend to be worst and worst!
It was not the great dining experience I have come to expect from Benihana. The food was poorly prepared and the restaurant seemed overly concerned about food cost. Some of the ingredients stayed on the cart unless specifically asked for. A first time customer would not know what what was being omitted from their meal.
Eric was an outstanding chef!
We were contacted that our reservation would be an hour late. We small children and one person coming in from Galveston. Management and staff worked hard to ensure that we had an exceptional experience despite the delay. They met their goal. Enjoyed the evening and will be back soon.
Our dinner was excellent, the people friendly and fun.
I had an amazing birthday dinner with my family and Thanks to the wonderful staff here working diligently to seat us. Our waiter Arthur was amazing always checking on us and I even talked him into singing me Happy Birthday. Thank you so much for making this experience great!!!
Philip our chef at the table was fantastic and so personable. It was my mom’s birthday and they sang Happy Birthday in English and Japanese. The food was cooked perfectly. Overall it was a wonderful evening and great way to celebrate her birthday!
Super good! If you are really hungry and want a lot of food, I would say this is the perfect place for you! From the soups, to the shrimps, and steak, everything is absolutely delicious! I would say my favorite is the teriyaki chicken and the Splash and Meadow! It's a bit on the pricier side, but for all the food they give, I think it's worth it!
We did not receive all that was included in the hibachi meal. We were asked if we’d like mushrooms, didn’t get those either! Our drinks were never refilled. Our chef was just so so. Four of has ordered our filets medium, they were well done. We won’t be back.
Was upset with the wait time. Booked an 8pm reservation and didn't get sat until almost 9. They close at 1030 and we were there just finishing our meals until almost midnight.
I made a reservation over a week ago because a week before I had came with friends and had a great dinner with chef valencia it was amazing and delicious. But this time I came with my husband and a week ago I made reservations and asked for chef valencia I got there on time . I was told to wait . I waited half hour no seats !!!! Then the guy says I may not get my chef requested I said why he said nothing just his trying and made us wait . 15 more mins then a girl calls our name we go to the table . We all wait again for chef , no chef , after 15 mins or more we get a girl chef name jasmine her chef coat was so dirty I was disappointed and I didn’t get chef Valencia it was like we were put on the table on purpose . Chef jasmine started cooking she was terrible the seasoning was off the onion made into volcano she served us she mixed all that oil and smoke with the other cooked onions ???!!! Why no wonder the other folks didn’t eat it . She didn’t cook my lobster it was rear and I just was not happy thou I didn’t want to disappoint my husband and child so I smiled it off since it was our anniversary!! Last I ordered jasmine tea the guy waiter said what’s that you mean green tea I said yes for me and my husband I guess your menu said jasmine tea with meals and I was getting green tea. He took our order for ice cream , we all eate then we waited for our tea , yes waited and waited and waited but the waiter saw us and ignored us . We payed and left . I had the worst evening and we spent $150:00 for this service. If you can give us the chef we requested a week ago tell us !! We will leave or call us . Don’t make us spend our hard earned money for mistakes that’s not ours .
I’m truly still sad my anniversary my dinner sucked . Pls tell your chef to we’re clean coats looked neat and cook right !! Sad
The chef was lazy and not engaging. Food safety is not taken seriously here. The chef took food off of someone's plate after he had already eaten from it, and put it on the grill where he was cooking everyone else's food. The manager was informed about this, and he seemed less than concerned about the incident and more concerned that he was being bothered. The meal was ruined for us, and we will not be returning.
We choose to go for Easter 🐣 dinner, we invited several friends and had a great time. Thank you for the good food & Drink!!
Arrived for 9:30 reservation 15 minutes early, chef did not come to table begin meal prep until 10:35 nor did a server let us know how long our wait would be. Then we were rushed out the door soon as the chef left the table. Normally this place is a personally favorite but my last visit have not been up to par

Great hibachi experience tonight, we had the female chef. Food was prepared as we liked it, only wish they would add more of the vegetables to the entree. The Benihana long island tea was perfect, kudos to the bartender.
