Food very tasty Chef Manny and server provided excellent service...from the moment I walked in and was immediately greeted by hostess and I think manager on duty. The staff is very warm an friendly.
Muy sucio el lugar
We were told about all of the rules, how no one could be late, had to cancel some family members because their work schedule allowed them there a few minutes after, charged 18 percent gratuity on each of the 3 checks, and chef gave me hard steak instead of filet mignon- which is what we paid for. We had to wait almost two hours for a chef, after being ignored, skipped, and requested for a manager twice. This is where I chose to spend my Mom’s 65th birthday. Never again. I spent $355 just for my family and we had others to pay as well. Waste.
It was my wife's birthday and I was literary going in to spin about $300. Had a reservation and still had to wait for over 15 minutes, service was just horrible. Ended up walking out after drinks were ordered and the people next to us got theirs before us
Our chef was superb and they sang happy birthday to my daughter Mya! Everything tasted really wonderful. They even catered to our shrimp and catfish allergies. Thanks!
The men who provided our drinks, took our order and prepared our food were friendly and helpful. We had two birthday celebrations and never were sung to or had a group photo. We told 3 people and our reservation stated we were celebrating birthdays. It just became silly after we told the hostess that we were waiting for and no one showed up to our table so we left.
The table was sticky and the complete place Could be cleaner
The menu is tricky, everything is extra and the show was very light. Too expensive for what you get
We had reservations for 1130am and were kindly asked to wait for another 10 minutes after we checked in. No big deal on our end. After we waited for the table to open up at the bar, one of the associates came up to us and said that NONE of the hibachi grills were working this morning. We were then asked to sit toward the back of the restaurant and that the chefs would cook for us in back. Again, no problem. The problem was that the atmosphere was one of no one knowing what was going on. We had to ask multiple times for menu’s, silverware, and their specialty sauces. The food was average on this occasion, and definitely was not warm and oozing of flavor like sitting at the grill and having something fresh. I’ve been doing Benihana restaurants around the country since I was a child, and this is the first time that I truly felt let down by the experience.
Would tell others about my experience. Will let others know.
Matt was a neat and clean cook. The food was amazing.
Been a Benihana regular for years but this location has been declining over the past few years. Maybe it’s all Benihana restaurants but now you hardly get any food at all and prices have increased. Tonight we had to order the steamed rice just to supplement our meal (always pay extra for
fried rice) since our regular meal wasn’t filling enough. Always had leftovers to take home but no longer. No mushrooms were included along with the other veggies as usual. Each item was prepared separately so far in between that my meat was cold by the time I got my vegetables. Many better hibachi restaurants out there for the money. The clientele has also become questionable as two women from separate tables got into a verbal altercation. Not the place it used to be for sure. Hate to see that happen to a Woodlands staple.
Benihana's has changed. It was disorganized and not very clean. Chef was cleaning up to leave and I had to remind him about our shrimp. Service was slow and it just was not nearly as good as in the past.
Matt was a very good chef and host for our birthday group!
Had an awesome time Tiffany was or server and Matt was our cook, everything was perfect and I love the staff also Abby gave us complimentary drinks while we waited , Thank for a great Birthday
Bento box very short on protein
Restaurant seems a bit dated but it could’ve been the theme. Service and food was excellent.
Just totally overrated. The food had little to none seasoning.
We had Manny as our habachi chef and he did a phenomenal job. His jokes were funny and our waiter kept that mango lemonade poured up❤️
The wait was long and we even had a reservation. The restaurant is sloppy, messy and stuffy. It needs a total make over. Used to be a place for good hibachi:(
Love coming here and was the first time we waited ( 4 guests) for over a hour to be seated. Reservations were at 7:15 didn't get seated till 8:15 and then we didn't get out drink order till 15 min later and that's because the party sharing the table with us (3 people) went and complained because they had a Reservation at 7
Food had no flavor it was a little porstion for 58$ just nasty and waste of money
Food was unseasoned
The only veggies we got with our meal was zucchini
Chicken was over cooked
Everything was great, they did overbook but the accommodated everyone as fast as possible. The Host at the door was very nice! Service and food was amazing!
My experience was great
The food was very tasty, however in our group of 4, the first 3 were served and had finished before the final person's food was prepared and they were able to eat. Also, the final person ordered steamed rice and it was forgotten and brought out only after asking the staff and the group had to wait on the final person to finish their food and steamed rice since it was very belated in arriving.
Our waiter Chris was amazing!! He truly brought the experience & even as busy as it was & the hiccup with the bartender he was great. Top notch, he has a talent with ppl & our experience was truly better bc of him. There was long waits for our drinks but he stepped up & checked on us got us things we needed.
First time there good food, good customer service will definitely go again.
Have not been to Benihana in years - went there for my senior prom in 1970’s. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday. 7 pm reservation - not seated til 7:55. This was on a Tuesday night. This use to be a treat to go to. Now overpriced for what you get. Small portions - mediocre quality steak. Paid extra for scallops- waste of money. Time has this restaurant by.
The restaurant is very partner and uncomfortable, from the waiting area to the table we had
I can’t believe how disappointed I was I’ve heard people rave about this place and then I went and blah I’ll never go again. The food was EXTREMELY bland for how EXTREMELY expensive it was. I had to pore teriyaki sauce which btw was cold over my food to have seasoning. To say the least I’ll never go again and I’ve been to significantly cheaper and much better tasting food places! $16 for a kids plate. Ridiculous and they didn’t even serve veggies!!! Just 5 pieces of zucchini
Despite having a reservation at 830pm we did not get seated until 850pm as they had not planned ahead for our large group of 10. Was at the point of telling the manager we get seated or we are walking.
I had a daddy/daughter date night with my 9 year old who wanted to try sushi. We shared a station with a couple and Mr Lee was our chef. The sushi was amazing for me. (Turns out my daughter is going to be a chicken nuggets and burgers for for a while longer). Mr Lee was an outstanding showman and my daughter enjoyed the prep and the fried rice.
I’ll definitely be going back when we take the whole family for a great time.
Our Chef Alex was amazing and made my son's birthday a great evening. Food and Service was amazing
Always a pleasure and food is always prepared just right.
Food was great. Waitress never came back to the table after taking our orders. She wasn’t the person to come pick up the checks. Never got drink refills or to go boxes.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. It was my dads 50th birthday and we had reservations at 9 p.m. we got there BEFORE 9 & were not seated until 9:30 p.m. what is the point in a reservation if you still have to wait?! Secondly our waitress. God was she horrible. She was so bad I felt sorry for her because there was no excuse for how poor the service was besides maybe she was having a bad day. She was forgetting drinks, orders, alcohol, she introduced herself 3 times. My husband and I got our salads in a to go container. My brothers salad had so much dressing in it it looked like soup. My husband had to ask for a Pepsi 3 times then in the end he never received it. I could go on & on. We ended up not receiving our chef to cook our food until 10:45!! Got there at 9 and didn’t leave until midnight. It was so pathetic. With those prices I expect 5 star service and it was the ABSOLUTE WORSE. Lastly she messed up our check as well. I will never go back.
Manager was great and accomodating. Waitress was very slow in refilling glasses and not attentive. Hoping it was just because she was new and will get better. But, OVERALL the dinner was GREAT!!!!
Absolutely love Mr. Lee but the waiter was really slow, we had to ask for refills, napkins etc.... but we loved the food.
