    Soooo dissapointed. Place is filthy & in need of a major overhaule. Server was miserable and sloppy. Thank you Chef Joey for being the only light in our evening. He cooked a great hibatchi dinner for us. Not the Benihana of earlier days...thumbs down

    The prices have gone WAY up and it seems like food quality has gone down. We went for my birthday dinner with my $30 certificate. That certificate used to cover all, if not most of the meal. Now, you’re still paying $20 or more after the certificate is applied. The chef cooked everything all at once. The chicken, steak, seafood, veggies…everything was on the cook top at the same time. I’m not sure if it was a supply issue but our “filet” was not an actual single cut of filet. We were served medallions. Our shrimp “appetizer” was the last thing served. My calamari (that I paid extra for) and my husband’s scallops were extremely over cooked. His scallops were all but burnt. The zucchini was burnt. The rice was lacking flavor. There was no “show”. The only thing the chef did was throw the shrimp tails into his hat at the end. Our server seemed rushed and nervous. Maybe he was new but it wasn’t the Benihana’s we’re used to. We used to go to Benihana’s around once a month. Now, I’m not sure it’s even worth going for our birthday dinners. Very disappointed.

    This is such an amazing location. Right on the St Lucie River. Our Chef Wes was not only a great Chef but also an amazing showmen. The negatives is the portable air conditioners which are located through out the restaurant. As well as outside the building.

    The hibachi and service were good. Now this Benihana’s looks like it’s fallen apart and the building is so dated. They had three holes in the wall with plastic blowing out of it I guess to get ventilation in or something and a lot of the vents in the roof were black and moldy looking.  looks like they need to do some updates to the building.

    Food & Service were awesome. Definitely overpriced but we knew that going in. The building is old and need lots of repairs and maintenance. Definitely lost it's good looks from its past. The lawn maintenance amd Zen garden looked horrible compared to what they used to do. The ambiance and feel of the place felt grimy because I remember what it used to look like. But all the staff was great and the food was fresh amd delicious
