   This was my third time dining here and nothing changed. The food and service is outstanding. It is just a fun place to spend an evening with friends.

   Benihana is where you go to celebrate — not necessarily for the food, but for the moment. We visited last night to mark a milestone birthday, and there’s something comforting about knowing exactly what to expect: the clang of spatulas, the onion volcano, the familiar rhythm of teppanyaki. It’s tradition. And for that reason, it remains a go-to for families like ours. That said, the experience could use some reinvestment. The restaurant is riding on its legacy — the décor is dated, napkins literally had holes, and the overall ambiance felt tired. The food, while generous in portion, was consistently overcooked, even after requesting a lighter hand with the heat. Our chef was technically proficient, but the performance lacked the enthusiasm or joy that once made Benihana feel special. He seemed ready to clock out, and that energy translated to the table. What saved the night was our waitress Sharon — warm, attentive, and truly kind — and a manager who did stop by to check in. The staff is doing their best. But corporate leadership needs to decide: is Benihana going to evolve with time, or slowly become a cherished but forgotten relic? We’ll probably return for another birthday — but we hope next time feels a little more like a celebration and a little less like a routine.

   I didn't look at the itemized receipt until today. Yesterday my boyfriend ordered dinner with the filet ($40.00 for maybe 4 oz). which should have come with soup, salad, appetizer, veggies and rice. He didn't want the veggies and rice and the waiter asked if he wanted noodles. He said yes - and guess what a $7.00 UPCHARGE for a handful of noodles. What about a swap for the salad, veggies and rice he didn't get.

   I love going to Benihana in Stuart Fl for lunch or dinner this is my favorite place the people is very friendly & the food is always good
