I made a 6pm appointment I was not seated until about 6:30. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before someone came over to take our drinks which took about 10 mins to come. The chef came which did an amazing job very entertaining food came out perfect, overall it was a good experience, minus the wait time.

Host was rude. Counted infants in strollers as diners. Was obnoxiously counting our party plus the infants (2) and yelling how we had two more people than our reservation. Behavior was so ridiculous we walked out.

- Seated 30 minutes past our reservation time - Service was not timely and our chef came out to cook prior to us even receiving our drinks and appetizers (soup, salads and other items ordered) - Underwhelmed by the food quality (i.e. rice not cooked all the way, lacked it's usual seasoning)

Food was bland, not a true Hibachi experience. Chef was boring and very quiet. Service was slow, my food got cold, before I could eat it.

They used to serve meal with fried rice, now just serve with white rice. All food like chicken, shrimps, steak, veggies, are basically cook with garlic butter, salt, pepper and soy sauce. It's something you can cook at home and they cook the it one by one and it takes so long to eat with your bowl of white rice. They first serve the zuchini, then the onion, then the meat, you need to eat one after one and in between the rice is already cold when you wait for the next. Price is overpriced when everything taste the same.

Overall a good time and was as expected on a busy Saturday evening. We had a reservation but still ended up waiting for nearly 30 minutes. We were a party of two and I guess they were waiting to fill the table. So not sure why the take reservations if not to honor the time. But otherwise, exactly what I expect from Benihana!

We know you’re busy, but we had a reservation for 730 and didn’t get seated until 740. The restaurant feels almost like Chuck E. Cheese very very noisy, not comfortable to be seated in, the carpet looked dirty, my husband’s plate was dirty before we even ate and had to be replaced. The chef was friendly, but the steak had globs of fat for what you’re charging there shouldn’t be any we haven’t been to your restaurant in a while and I don’t think will be back. Wait.

It was a HORRIBLE experience for my first visit. The manager, Regan, is rude and dismissive. He doesn’t know how to speak to customers and talks over people when they voice concerns. The wait time is much longer than expected, even with a reservation. The place is understaffed and the chef was not listening. The food was not flavorful and the “fried rice” was still white and dry. Once a member of the table complained to management, the chef scooped up all orders from the grill and left. I’ll try the Edison location before I decide whether or not I like the restaurant chain.

Short staffed and overbooked. Price, service and food quality was just not worth it. Not sure if it’s a corporate business change impacting quality of food or a specific location issue… The waiters and cooks were trying their best. However, I would not go back.

This restaurant was severely understaffed. We had a 7:30 PM reservation, for which we arrived on time. We were sat at our table after 8:00 PM and did not receive nonalcoholic drinks until 8:30 PM!! Hibachi cooking didn’t start until approximately 9 PM!! After hearing multiple people complain about the conditions of the bathrooms, I had the opportunity to experience them for myself. Toilet paper was out of stock, and littered all over the ground. Multiple toilets needed to be flushed. Overall it wasn’t a great experience. Service was lacking as the staff seemed burnt out. I highly doubt we will be back.

Food was very good. However had to pay an extra $5+ per person for fried rice that I expected to be included with the hibachi dinner (it is included in lunch prices). Only white steamed rice is included with dinner.

I didn’t even sit and eat to be honest. I seen a gentleman standing by the bar for some reason & I seen him put his hand in the bar’s garnish container & take a piece of fruit and eat it. The bartender didn’t seem to mind thus I wasn’t comfortable to even sit down to eat or order a drink after seeing that.

Went for dinner, ordered hibachi steak, the price listed on menu is $34 or with the 5 course meal. The. Get the bill and got charged the $34 for the steak and an additional $10 for the rice and vegetables !!!! Asked the waiter about it and he stated that “ for dinner” these are not included. If they are going to this then suggest clearly stating on the menu that the 5 course meal does not include rice and vegetables.

Benihana has an entertaining atmosphere, it’s always a birthday celebration. The chefs are phenomenal, Unfortunately I can’t remember our chef’s name. He was top of the line, he interacted with all of us. 5 were in my family plus 2 others. We had a great time! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Drinks and water took 40 minutes. When the water arrived our server put lemon in everyone’s water without even asking - which annoyed me. The chef was also seemingly low energy. I’m not in a rush to go back.

This is my son's favorite place. What is there bad to say about Beni Hana. It's perfect for families. I dont know if I'd go on a date here, but its cool for a group of friends or families. Food is cool. Drinks are good.

Service was horrible. Our soup bowls, salad plates were not taken away until we asked another waiter to get our waiter, she cleared the table herself. Drinks were not served until dinner was ready. I have been taking my daughter there since 1988, and the place has gone downhill.

This location has gone horribly down hill. 50 min wait w/ reservation. Told Mgr in advance there for birthday dinner. Was told ice cream sundae & singing prior to meal. Nothing. Loud, grungy, overpriced for quality of food. Place also wreaked of, what smelled like, marijuana, as many patrons were smoking in the parking lot. No longer fit for families with kids or teenage groups in the evening. Off our list.

Normally its very noisy but this night because we came early for dinner and it was on a Thursday it was quiet which I enjoyed. Our server was wonderful and attentive to our needs made sure my girls were good as it was their birthday as well. Our chef, chef Eli was amazing food was delicious and cooked to perfection. He also showed some new tricks that I haven't seen before at the table. No complaints hope I get the same server and chef again!
