   We always enjoy our trip to Benihanas in Scottsdale. We are seniors that travel almost 100 miles to have fabulous meal at Benihanas. Service was great food was excellent and it comes with a super show.

   Had an amazing time, Pedro our chef was fabulous and funny. Ali are waitress was kind and helpful.

   This was by far the worst experience here - we were seated 50 min past reservation time. Out table was left with empty beverages the entire time. The table and surrounding areas were very dirty as were the restrooms. Nasty. We have been to this restaurant over 50 times and this is by far the worst experience ever

   Poor Benihana just isn’t the experience it used to be. So dated and dirty (a nice inch layer of dust and grime on the wall separating the waiting area and the sushi bar). Service was sub par and food was just ok. It’s time to revamp, Benihana.

   We had a reservation and still waited almost 2hrs to have someone start cooking for us. It was my daughter’s birthday and she wanted to just leave. No one asked if we wanted cocktails or waters replenished. No one apologized to us or ever acknowledged what was happening. We won’t be back.

   The "standard" Benihana "show" at the hibachi table, which is enjoyable. Standard Benihana food, though prices went up maybe 10% in the past few months since our last visit. It would have been better had there been more chefs available, as we waited quite a while before cooking started (and we saw many other tables with the same problem).

   We’ve been here a couple times, I think each time I expect it to be better than it is. The restaurant feels a little dirty and old, it needs updating. We usually go with the family and our bill is close to $500. It’s just expensive for what it is. The drinks are ok; I got some sort of pina colada and it didn’t seem fresh (super sweet, fruit garnish was a little less than fresh). It’s good, but I do gluten free so I skip the soup and basically get a “salad” and rice with chicken/steak.
