   Food was good. Less salt, butter, better quality oil, and soy sauce, would be appreciated. Also more protein. Portions were very small. Bathroom was not clean. Overall place looks like it needs a renovation.

   Very busy afternoon on Mother’s Day - granted. However, table was 45 late from reservation and certainly not much of a ‘show’ at any of the tables. Food was good and servers were appreciated for working hard and quick. Unfortunately it’s a pass for me on going back.

   Very crowded on 5/10 - seated 35 minutes after reservation. Delicious food and chef did not disappoint.

   We had reservation at 5:45pm , when I got there we were told to wait lil bit and we will be called once table is ready. After about 20 mins and my bf finished a drink ordered from bar while waiting for, he went to ask front desk and after that we waited about 10 mins to get table. There were family joining same table. Service was slow and we waited another 35/40 mins to have chef for our table. Dad of family asked us how long we waited and if we had reservation, after our response we asked their wait time, he said they had reservation at 5, my bf and I were shocked that they still waited that long! There was another lady complaining at front desk right after my bf did. Food was not bad, chef wasn’t as fun as we thought he would be but major issue was waiting time and service. I was so hungry and getting slight headache. Had to wait almost 1.5 hrs to get food when we had reservation is ridiculous and don’t want to go back. I don’t write bad reviews often unless it’s too much and I thought people should know and also restaurant should know so that maybe they can work on it.

   Over the years the brand is losing some components of its consistency and standard operating procedures. This trip we took a guest for first time to Benihana for his birthday and they completely neglected the special person on the table and did not even do their song and dance which we have seen plenty or times before. No special small cake at the end for the special guest. Disappointing.

   Everything was great. Hibachi table for 10 is a bit tight but doable. I wish I could have invited more people but they would have had to sit at another table.

   New chef onions burnt rice soggy shrimp had pieces of shell they weren’t peeled well never had that happen. He cooked the dinner appetizer for for someone that had ordered the dinner portion instead of the lunch portion and then after all that was served, you went oh and started cooking the steaks and shrimp for us. Didn’t understand why we couldn’t have had the shrimp all cooked at the same time. Oh well, you could tell he was new. He just wasn’t all there. Disappointed. Were use to having grest food

   Have been here several times with excellent experience in the past. We sat down and it took 45 min for our food service to begin. When it began EVERYONE at the table had medium well ordered for their preference for the steak and we were never asked. Thankfully the chef double checked and we were all medium RARE. Secondly we got our first round of drinks and were never offered a second/refills I had to ask numerous times for my husband's plain white rice. They knew we were there for my birthday and were never offered anything. Ice cream included in the meal and we had to remind them vs them asking us what we wanted. The staff did not seem to care about anything. The hibachi chef was great but I felt badly for him He had to leave to the kitchen to get things that were not on his cart. Not a good experience at all

    This was the worst Teppanyaki experience every. Perhaps Benihana corporate has removed the "show" experience from being part of the reason that people go to Teppanyaki or we just experienced a lazy chef. There was NO show. We had a gentleman very hurriedly prepare our meal on the grill in front of us with no enthusiasm or showmanship which is WHY people go to Teppanyaki. He stated that they are no longer allowed to do the food in the moth toss, squirting of sake. We asked for the fire choo choo train and after the meal was served he hastily stacked a few onions and lit them on fire. No sooner than he cleaned the grill the server brought the check. Our meal selections actually came with ice cream and he didn't bother to bring the ice cream but brought the check instead. Very Sad and will opt for the smaller Teppankai restaurants instead as they still perform.
