Not sure if our chef was new? All of the food was overcooked and dry, VERY EXPENSIVE, prices have definitely gone up. It was very loud this time and we could not hear anyone at our table except those right next to you. Overall I don't think we will be back anytime soon. We used to go a few times a year to celebrate birthdays but $320 for 4 people was way more than the experience was worth.

Poor management and poor food for the price. It was a birthday celebration and they didn’t even do the birthday song for the two people at the table celebrating while other celebrations were going on. Management didn’t even honor a gift certificate and then passed off to another reward group .

First time at Benihana and I can’t wait to go back! The atmosphere was lively and the food was amazing. Our chef, Evan, was excellent in both his hospitality as well as his cooking skills. Filet was PERFECT, melted in my mouth.

The salad was terrible and the soup was onion flavored dish water. The fried rice was missing the egg which was always in the dish before.thank e shrimp and steak was good but not as good as before. Overall the quality of the food was poor and the increase in overall price was unjustified.

Its been a few years since our last benihana meal. Things have changed some. First, they make a big thing out of whether or not anyone has food allergies. Unless you are a party of 8, you will likely have strangers join your table. IF one of them is allergic to peanuts or sesame seeds, then you will not have the same meal as if nobody has allergies. The rice and other dishes will be dumbed down. This is a problem- they shouldn't wait until you're seated to ask if someone has allergies- they should group allergics together so everyone else can enjoy the original fried rice and other recipes. The server seated us, talked fast and once delivered the drinks- was rarely seen again. Plate clearing was nonexistant at our and nearby tables- lots of dirty dishes sitting everywhere, even 20 minutes after they'd left- though it was a holiday and likely reduced staffing. The "show" is much shorter, rapid-fire and abbreviated than it once was. The portions are larger. As always, the grill cleaning is right in your face and extensive, & not sure so sanitary to have particles off the grill- new & old- flying around near one's food. The chef was capable, professional and meals prepared as ordered. The food was tasty but the proteins (beef & chicken) appeared to be of low grade. The noise around and behind us was deafening- to the point those with good hearing couldn't hear our conversation. There were young children running around,m screaming, obviously high on sugar and mostly uncontrolled while their parents ignored them while getting pleasantly drunk. This is not recommended for date-nights, especially those without children, those who have difficulty hearing, or whom are concerned with food quality and careful sanitation. We will not return.

I have dined at other Benihana Restaurants and had very nice experiences. Unfortunately that was not the case here. Our 7:30 reservation was not met until 8:00. The service was very slow even though the restaurant was not full. Floors were very dirty and table had not been wiped down so we moved the the grill. Miso soup for the entire table not even in my party had been returned. SALTY. Onion soup very oily. Salad good. But then the wait for dinner was so long. Perhaps short staffed since again the restaurant was almost empty. Chef was less experienced. After 5 times tossing and missing the sesame shaker into his hat he tossed it one more time and my son caught it! He then gave up. Rice over cooked and some were burnt, and the large shrimps were also unevenly cooked. We did not have desert. And left at 10:15! Do not recommend going to this spot.
