   This was the worst Teppanyaki experience every. Perhaps Benihana corporate has removed the "show" experience from being part of the reason that people go to Teppanyaki or we just experienced a lazy chef. There was NO show. We had a gentleman very hurriedly prepare our meal on the grill in front of us with no enthusiasm or showmanship which is WHY people go to Teppanyaki. He stated that they are no longer allowed to do the food in the moth toss, squirting of sake. We asked for the fire choo choo train and after the meal was served he hastily stacked a few onions and lit them on fire. No sooner than he cleaned the grill the server brought the check. Our meal selections actually came with ice cream and he didn't bother to bring the ice cream but brought the check instead. Very Sad and will opt for the smaller Teppankai restaurants instead as they still perform.

   Always a fun and enjoyable experience at Benihana Scottsdale. The only improvement would be to enlarge the teppanaki table so that 8 people are crowded around it.

   Extremely overpriced. Our waiter was super nice and attentive but the food was super bland with little seasoning and the salad dressing tasted like straight vinegar. Love hibachi but this was really disappointing to pay +$100 for two people to have poor food and just water.

   I've been to Benihana many times over the years with different family members and friends. It's consistently good. I had the filet and lobster and my husband had the chateaubriand and both were delicious. Our chef was engaging and entertaining. My only suggestion is that the restaurant work on ventilation a bit. It gets pretty smoky in there when more than 4 tables are going. Otherwise, we had a great experience!

   We always have a fabulous time at Benihanas in Scottsdale. Great food, and service. Our chef Roberto/Ricardo , we had a difference of opinion of his name, but we are all seniors, nevertheless , he was FABULOUS. He usually works evenings, and he did a great show while preparing our food. Our server, Rachel, named after Rachel Welch, was attentive and kept the pace of the meal going. Both are assets to Benihana in Scottsdale. We are all seniors that drive down from Prescott, about a two hour trip to use our Chef Tables certificates. We all enjoy the road trip, the companionship and of course the meals we have always enjoyed at the Scottsdale Benihana. Thank you to the management and all of the service staff. You made a number of Prescott seniors happy today. We range in age from 70-85. What a great day we had! We reflect on the many photos that we have received over the many years that we have enjoyed our Chef Table trips. Thank you again!

   Our reservation was for 7:15. We got seated approximately 7:30 waited another 10 minutes for two more people to join and did not have our order taken until around 8 PM. The whole experience took way longer than we anticipated and did not resemble past presentations. Our chef was Mediocre at best. We were there for the food, but also the entertainment and the latter was lacking, most definitely. Our food orders were incorrect and incomplete. Our waiter attempted to correct the situation but by 9:15 we were ready to go home.

    Brandon was our server he was awesome, very helpful and patient with a big party , we had not been to Benihana in over 15 years so it was a nice welcome back, it’s really one of the best spots for a birthday especially for kids , they loved it and the adult’s had a great time as well.
