    If you've never been to Benihana, you're missing a fun experience. Our Chef, Julian, was very friendly and entertaining while cooking up a sumptuous meal for everyone. He went out of his way to make sure everyone experienced the ambience of the restaurant.

    I worked at benihana for 3 years so I know what to expect generally. I was surprised there was no lunch menu offered anymore, which made my anticipated cost a lot higher. The chef was great (Francisco) and the food was delicious. The server was nice and seemed on top of it. I dont know if things have changed but at the location I used to work at, the server would put the food away in the to-go containers at the table. That didn't happen for us this time.

    Service was very poor, everyone else got menus but me and my family.. Waitress was excellent, he was very kind, Cook was horrible, he let the rice cook for too long. And it turned out hard. payed for extra shrimp, i got it but the rest of my family didn’t.. Chicken was really dry. And cook was slow seemed like he didn’t have any experience..

    We’ve been coming to Benihana for years—it’s been a go-to spot for birthdays, celebrations, and family dinners. The food and the experience have always been something we looked forward to. Unfortunately, the recent price increases are significant, and it’s hard to justify the cost for what you get now. While we’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and the tradition, we’ll be taking a break for a while. Hoping they reevaluate and bring things back to a more reasonable level—until then, we’ll be exploring other options.

    It was a great way to spend our anniversary! We had amazing service, a good laugh with the chef and definitely will be coming back. Also the food was delicious and worth the prices. Thank you all for a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.

    This was a great place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation! The manager was great with stories of famous guests and the chef was funny and entertaining!

    The chef preparing food was great. Just feel over the years quality of food has suffered. $50 for Filet and mushrooms.. Basic button mushrooms, fried rice was great. Steak tender… vegetables..? Just onion and zucchini? $240 for family of 4. I would pass on going back for that price.

    We have been coming to Benihana in Scottsdale for almost 15 years. This experience was really disappointing. Our Chef had only been there for a month, nice guy but no showmanship yet and was really slow. The shrimp appetizer was burnt. And they used liquid eggs and the Chef told the table the restaurant stopped using real eggs because of the price! Our server never asked about the food quality and we had to ask for water. All the other tables got it upon arrival. Overall not the birthday celebration we were hoping for.
