Disappointed. Been going there for about 15 years. Prices have been raised and can no longer order from the lunch menu on weekends. This is a biggie being retired. Also mentioned that the lunch was for my grandson’s birthday- no mention at all.

The soup was not hot. The salad had a funny taste to it. We were seated in an area where it was very warm, and it was my best friends first time the picture that was taken of us was dark other than that everything was OK.

I haven't dined at a benihana for almost 30 years. Nothing has changed. To be honest, the food isn't worth the price. Its loud and crowded. The chef was wearing a mask and had a heavy accent. It was impossible to hear him over the noise from other tables. The shinning spot was our server, Chris, who was spot on the whole evening. I will not return.

The food was great! When I got home, I looked at the receipt and we were charged for a drink refills, even though I do believe saying that refills were free. And we were charged extra for fried rice not being told that there was an extra charge for fried rice, and that was actually the only thing offered. Then we had to wait for roughly a half hour for our server to get back with her bill, we’re just sitting there, twiddling our thumbs, waiting and watching others.

Easily made dinner reservations online and they were happy to accommodate a change in the number of guests. We enjoyed our chef, the others at our table and the food was delicious. The mustard sauce was the best with our shrimp and chicken teppanyaki.

Our chef Tim was great. I ordered the Tuna and he prepared perfectly. Everything was delicious. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday and they made it special in every way for him. Quite a few birthday celebrations were happening that evening with lots of fun and enthusiasm in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Our meal was good. Out chef did fine but tended to get too much heat on a few things leading to some over done chicken and appetizer shrimp. The shrimp in my main course were larger and suffered less, but could have been on less heat too. The worst part of the "food" was the beverage. Their iced tea had the funk. It's easy to avoid by using a liner. Everyone was friendly enough, but our waitress didn't seem to care much. We had her replace our tea with water, but she didn't take the tea off our bill until I asked at the end. When someone complains about something, get that removed without making them remind you of it. I will finish off that the pricing is up quite a bit. If that is to pay your employees a living wage, great, but it didn't feel that way.

Over priced mediocre food. Chef was boring. Only trick was catching shrimp tails in her hat and even then she missed three of them. Boring greasy food. Who wants to have smoke in your face while you eat? Clothes smell when you leave. The frozen drinks are delicious. I just don't care for this place.

We ordered the steak and chicken (Rocky’s Choice) and only got the steak and NO chicken. The chef was inexperienced and put no seasoning on the orders and overcooked everything. The quality of the food has gone down and will not be going back.

Our experience last night destroyed my husband’s and my childhood memories of Benihana; it was so awful, my children never want to go back. The food was subpar, at best, and cost a fortune. I’m talking almost $200 for two orders of chicken tenders from the kids menu and two basic menu items for my husband and myself. No appetizers, no alcohol, just two waters and two kids lemonades. For $200!? Ridiculous! Then we have the “experience” - the chef hardly did anything - nothing fun, cool, or even slightly interesting enough to keep my 4 or 5 year olds’ attention. Worse, and this was the final straw - the steam was blasting us in the face so badly, we could hardly breathe. We kept moving around, trying to escape it - and as weird as it may seem, it literally followed us. My son’s eyes were red and watery, and he kept coughing, holding his menu/hat in front of his face and unable to eat. I looked around at the other tables (and I was looking with serious intention) - not a single person at any other table, that I could see, was being blasted in the face or so uncomfortable they were playing musical chairs to escape it. It was so disgusting, I finally walked out. I don’t know what happened to this place, but it used to be amazing. Now, it’s anything but.

Tasty food - well prepared - my wife and I both got the SurfSide with shrimp, scallops, ans calamari. Seafood was cooked quickly and perfectly. Waiter was friendly and attentive.

We celebrated our son’s 10th birthday with a group of 9. We were seated near our reservation time. Our server was prompt and friendly. We did have to wait a little while for our chef but our server kept us updated. I also have a severe dairy allergy and they were very accommodating and everything was great!

The woman who served our table never took any plates from the table. She would come to table and leave with nothing in her hands. They were stacked so high by the time ice cream came I couldn’t get to it without crashing plates on the floor. Dessert should never be served on top of a dirty dinner plate. Because service was horrendous at our table, none of us enjoyed the evening.
