Portions have been dramatically cut. I was just there for my annual birthday dinner. The shrimp appetizer is gone. Colossal shrimp was 4 medium sized shriimp for the samurai treat. The birthday polaroid is gone. I was just given a candle on top of my ice cream that came with my meal. My chef was friendly enough however there was only 1 stunt the whole time which was a far cry from last years performance. For about the same amount as we were charged last year we definitely got less. The birthday certificate no longer holds as much value as it once did and I may look to other performance dinners that next time we want something similar.

The starters weren’t that great (soup & salad) however the main course was absolutely delicious. The kids really enjoyed watching the food being cooked in front of them and the show that was given was very entertaining. The drink weren’t my favorite but overall we enjoyed ourselves and really enjoyed the food the steak was delicious and the lobster was so good.

We went to Benihana’s on Thanksgiving Day since we celebrated the holiday on an earlier date. Dinner was enjoyable! The food and ambiance were great and we had a very friendly and good chef. It was a nice change from a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

We showed up early to our reservation and they said they could not seat us until the entire party was present. Five minutes before our reservation time we all arrived and were told that they could not seat us as other reservations had checked in. Twenty minutes from our reservation time we were seated. Our server was attentive and the chef was wonderful. We enjoyed our time but the wait from the hostess felt pointed-especially after having made a reservation.

WTF happened to Beni? Felt like everyone don’t wanna be there to work. Didn’t get seated at least 30 mins after our reservation. Felt like the front didn’t know what they were doing. OMG the chef, gimme some enthusiasm! And our table got the minimal fire performance. Overcooked dry chicken, well done steak (I asked for medium). And wrong order. The server was holding the card swipe so tight as if I was gonna drop and break it. And the manager (big white guy with beard) came at the end to help clean up and asked the other family how were things while ignoring us. May be coz the husband was wearing scrub. The ice cream was prob the best food that evening. At least the kids enjoy their 1st teppanyaki experience. Not coming back…may be Tokyo W down the street is better.

Really disappointed with our last visit. Everything was running late. We got there early to grab drinks at the bar and I preliminarily checked in 30-mins before our 7:45 PM reservation. We were seated 20-mins after our reservation. Drink orders were served quickly, but it took a whole hour after we were seated before our teppanyaki chef arrived to cook. We were starving. And to top it all off, the seared ahi we ordered was overcooked. He seared it on the hot side of the flat top so the sesame crust burned to a crisp (he was scraping-off blackened sesame seeds which ruined the outside texture of the ahi). And the ahi was severely overcooked...it was medium-well instead of rare...which made it a bit rubbery to eat. When we were done our server seemed to disappear and it took ages to find her so we could close out at 10 PM. Don't need to go back here anytime soon.

Went for birthday. Service was great, even though a few mistakes were made. For example, I ordered a medium rare hibachi steak special, but received it completely well done. Didn’t have the heart to complain, but I wished I would’ve gotten a better chef show. Maybe chef was new. I still gave 20% tip, but I made the reservation a month beforehand so I was a little disappointed in the end.

This is a one and done situation. Never again. There's no reason to make a reservation if you're not going to honor it. On top of not honoring the reservation, the hostess has the nerve to catch an attitude because you're on time to your reservation. We ended up waiting for about an hour. Our waiter, person who sat us and chef were so sweet. The food was terrible. No flavor. The sauces just tasted bad too. $500 for such a crappy experience? No thanks. I'll take my money elsewhere. Teach your hostesses some etiquette.

Fabulous experience. My family loved it. Took a looooong time. Give yourself at least 2 hours with a reservation. I think we were there 2 hours and 15 minutes, but we were rushing to get out because we were late to our next thing. The chefs are the best part. Very expensive but you’re paying extra for the experience

Food amazing as always, cook was great, but server never came around and forgot to bring me my beer and wife her rice bowl for about 30 minutes. Had to talk to manager who got things right for us after that.

Seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Not a well managed restaurant. The bar area lacks in service. The worst of any Benihana restaurant I’ve been to in terms of quality. The food was just okay. I would recommend not going there until they improve.

Waited over 30 min past our reservation time to get seated. Then once seated waited one whole hour for the cook to come. Then he forgot something in the back while he was cooking and came back and the veggies and chicken were burnt. Not good at all

We arrived 15mins early to our reservation. The place was dead. The host would not seat us so I asked if we were to just walk in at this time, would they have sat us without a reservation because the place was empty. He said no. Anyways, we just looked at each other for the next 10min and he dissapeared as it approached our reservation time of 3:30. Host went hiding for the next 5mins as all of our family waited. We were waiting until 3:40p until he came back and decided to finally sit us down. What is the point of the reservation. If you dont have staff and cannot accommodate customers, do not take reservations that cannot be promised. People make arrangements out of their busy schedule for everybody to meet up on time. It is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional to not atleast sit us at the table on time. When we finally ordered some drinks. 3 out 4 drinks were not available. Whats going on around here. We ordered a different beer since the drafts were not available. The server came back with a can of beer and slapped it on the table. We ask for a beer glass for the beer and of course they never came back with it. Needless to say we will never come back Management: If you care about your company and your job, this kind of performance is not looking bright for your future. It is unacceptable

-had reservation at 6:00 got sat at 6:20ish -did not see the waiter much, did not get our water refill, had to hunt him down for the bill
