   Despite having a 7:00 PM reservation, my son and his friends were not seated until 8:20 PM—over an hour late. This was incredibly frustrating, especially as we had planned the evening around celebrating his 15th birthday. When I spoke to the manager, they insisted our reservation was for 8:00 PM, which was simply not true. The host had informed us they were running an hour behind and had apparently adjusted the reservation time in OpenTable without notifying us. After reading other reviews, it seems this may be a recurring issue at this location, suggesting either consistent overbooking or poor management. It raises the question: what is the point of making a reservation if it won’t be honored? Unfortunately, the evening didn’t improve once we were finally seated. One of the main reasons my son loves Benihana is for the lively, engaging performances by the chefs, which make the experience memorable. This time, however, the chef seemed uninterested and merely went through the motions. While the food was good, the lack of energy and interaction took away the fun and celebratory atmosphere we were expecting. Although the staff did comp a couple of items, which we appreciated, it didn’t make up for the delays, the disruption to our plans, or the lackluster service. A night meant to be special and memorable for my son fell far short of expectations, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location.

   You go to Benihana for the show and food. The show was mediocre, the food was decent. Service was uninspired and we felt this particular time we went for another birthday was lackluster.

   It's been a long standing tradition for us to celebrate several birthdays at Benihana every year. We usually have a great time and enjoy the food tremendously. This year however, our chef was less than average, lacking excitement or seemingly inexperience - he didn't do most of the tricks/entertainment (like tossing the shrimp tails into his chef hat). He put way too much butter ice cream and more than half a bottle of soy sauce on the friend rice. Everything was overly salty, peppery and oily. The meal was quite bad. The entertainment was lacking. And the service - our waitress hardly checked on us and missed a few crucial things like clearing out our salad bowls, asking us about the dessert choices, forgetting to ask if we needed boxes and bringing us a bag later for the boxes. The prices have also gone up tremendously. Sadly, I fear this may be the last year we go to celebrate our birthdays because it no longer proves to be fun and the food is not great for the high cost.

   The food and service were fantastic. Drinks were awesome. I was celebrating my granddaughter's birthday. She really enjoyed herself and Freddy was so entertaining, good show!

   Freddy our chef was amazing. Our wait staff at the grill provided great service. Drinks at the bar before getting seated took a very long time to get served. You need more than one person working there.

   Had a 7:30 reservation, didn’t get seated until 9. Ordered drinks, didn’t receive them until 9:45. Food didn’t start until then either. When we asked server for an explanation we were told “this is always how the weekends are at Benihana.” It’s entertaining and the food is fun and yummy, and the people do their best…but genuinely insane how poorly run it is. I’ve never waited this long without apology or acknowledgement.

   The management took on too many reservations so there was a long wait even though we had booked a reservation. We were among the many groups that were very frustrated by this. The host desk was not able to give any update on the duration of the wait or predict how long the wait would be. It was chaos with many frustrated people walking out the door. We got seated over an hour after our reservation. And would not have if not for people with earlier reservations giving up and leaving. The service was terrible. The waitress did not bring our drinks or our salad. We had to tell the chef. Finally we got the salads and drinks mid meal. The service in general was terrible in other ways. No offer of drink refills. It was obvious the chef who was trying his best was stressed and had to rush through the meal. Ran out of ginger sauce. Or would not give refills..for example. We enjoyed and the chef show, but it was a frustrating experience. We would have to know the management cares before considering going back to this location.

    The hosts up front were rude and not helpful. After a 30 min wait for my 7pm reservation I inquired about the status of the table. The obnoxious host says “could be 5 mins or 500, we don’t know”. I was out to have a nice dinner with the family and really not in the mood for snarky attitude. The chef looked like a beginner. The serves messed up our order. Have had much better experience at other Benihanas.
