   There were too many bdays happening last night, mine included. We heard happy birthday being sung about every 5-10 minutes through out the restaurant. Just at our table there was another party celebrating their birthday. Our Chef zero focused on them and we felt as if we were wall flowers to their party. Ignored and uncomfortable. The food was so so. The low quality soup and salad could have been done with out and the rest of the food felt like we were on a basic bland diet rubbed in butter.

   This place is dirty. Also, the quality of food is not great, especially for the price. Will not return.

   Our chef was new and lacked the skills and speed that our previous chefs have had over the years. We watched the table next to ours be entertained by their chef’s showmanship, and receive their food well before we did, despite having been seated 1/2 hour after we were.

   It was an okay experience. I mentioned it was a birthday and they didn’t do anything for us. We heard so many other people around us getting sang happy birthday and a birthday ice cream but we didn’t get anything… super disappointed

   Ordered the tuna steak. It was supposed to be served medium rare. It was medium well. I have consumed a lot great tuna steak and this was nowhere close. It tasted old and fishy. Everything else served was pretty good. It was difficult to get a refill. The cook was good but near as entertaining in my previous experiences in other Japanese steak houses.

   We had to wait 50 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Then, our chef was very new and negative. His conversation during the meal consisted of him complaining about his long work hours and him missing the football game that night. He was also very slow, which made him over cook and burn our food. He also forgot the mushrooms for my friends meal (he ordered the chicken and mushrooms). He wasn’t funny or entertaining. We mostly watched the chef at the next table. I was super disappointed. It’s my birthday celebration and it was by far the worst Japanese steakhouse experience we’ve ever had. He said he would let the manager know about the forgotten food and get a discount— but he didn’t.
