We had a wonderful time
The hostess was very rude when we arrived but once we were at the table we had a wonderful evening!
Usually we have great experiences at Benihana. This time, however, our server seemed as though she didn't want to be there and we had several issues with dirty glasses, dishes, and silverware. My husband had to get three different sodas because each time the glass was dirty with stuff floating in it. A few of the plates had dried old food on them, and finally my salad fork had dried and crusted food on it. The chef was awesome and gave us great food and show.
We love Benihana, our chef Joshua was super nice, funny, and attentive. Our waitress was good too. The hostess and greeter were ok. Greeter was eating food while figuring out our reservation, I couldn’t understand her with a full mouth. The hostess that sat us had a huge hickey on her neck that my kids asked what it was.
The food is amazing, and our server was awesome, but we waited almost 30 minutes to be seated with a reservation, then waited another 20 before our server was able to come to the table.
As always the food is great, but no matter how many times I go to this location, they always make me wait for at least 15minutes past my reservation time to get seated. The front counter hostesses always seem to have an attitude and are an immediate discouragement. Once you get seated (of course late) then everything is good from there
Reservation was at 3:45pm and we waited 30 minutes to get seated and another 30 minutes until the chef arrived. The wait could have been shortened. Seemed like we were there forever and didn’t really get to enjoy our food because by that time we got our food we were short on time. Overall, the food was good.
Its was ok. Hard to find your server when you need something
Wouldn’t allow our party of six to have a private table for a birthday celebration. Poor customer service. Chef was good at tricks but didn’t speak to us.
Had a great time and great service. I visit this location several times a year. Everything was very positive as usual. With all that said everyone in my party ended up sick a couple of hours later. Not sure if it was the food or what, but we didn't eat out anywhere else. It only lasted a couple of hours.
Went for a graduation and was fantastic as ever. An enjoyable experience.
Was disappointed in the lack of heart healthy vegetarian meals though the tofu steaks were good. Happy that they did have the option of brown rice. Need some kind of acoustic paneling to cut down the noise. It was so noisy I could only understand conversations from the person sitting next to me and it was difficult to hear the chef. Not a place for conversation.
Amazing as always!
Been going here for years and it never disappoints.
Lilly was terrific. Love having a woman chef. Waitress gave good service too. My drinks were never empty.
Waited half an hour for a table even though I had a reservation.
This location is horrible. Squished in the corner of an old strip mall. The ventilation is deplorable. I cannot understand how Benihana actually allows this restaurant to continue to have the name Benihana. It is a disgrace to the brand. I suppose the franchisee got this location for cheap years ago and now has not interest in moving it to a decent location and providing a nicer dining experience. The only reason we go here is because my son loves the fried rice. We would go much more often but not when it is at this unpleasant location.
We had a really great time at Benihana’s. Our nine year old was celebrating her birthday and we had our other three kids with us. As a result the show was particularly entertaining and fun. I had filet Mignon and lobster and they were cooked perfectly.
Definitely disappointed in performance of chef. One of the best parts is the show. She couldn’t wield her knife and spatula very well. Didn’t even get a shrimp tail in her chefs hat. I ordered my favorite chicken fried rice and didn’t get it. I think she gave it to the people we were sitting with. Said she would make it after she was done cooking...what good was that! The meal was okay, I’ve had much better there. Off night. Will go back and try again!
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! The chefs are so talented and entertaining!
Would not recommend this location. It was dirty the food wasn't cooked fully and we waited over an hour for a cook. We made reservations for 730 and didn't have food until 9pm.. awful experience
they were way too busy,we waited to be sitted a long time.then waited for the cook,it was understaffed, the employees looked tired in a rush, the waitresss was very nice and she was so busy trying to do so much.
I was not happy, had friends their first time they weren't happy either,I always had good experiences here.first time I was about to leave.
Food was delicious, cocktails weren’t good at all, service was good, the place looks dirty but overall experience was good, if you go for your birthday you can get a $30 off if you sign up online and a free ice cream! Yummy
Only problem I had really was they didn’t come and refill the drinks but overall outstanding place for food and entertainment
I dine here often. I have always enjoyed dining here. I’ve had many memories over the years at Benihana.
Lobster tail wasn’t fresh. Was pretty fishy. Everything else was really good. $120 for 2 to eat and have a few drinks.
Took a long time to be seated even with a reservation also took a while for a chef to come but great food and the chef turn out to be amazing (Raymond)
We waited a little long for a cook. Assuming cook called out but other than the wait food and service was as expected.
Arrived at 6:15 pm for a 6:30 pm reservation. We were told that they were running a half hour behind for seating. At 7:30 pm we asked about being seated as other parties that arrived after us had been seated. No explanation or apology was given. We were told they would find us seating right away. After being seated, the service was inattentive , food prep was slow and chef was inexperienced. After the last two members of our party were served, the waitress came over and asked if they were going to finish their food and did they want to-go boxes even when they had just started eating. The whole experience totaled 3 hours and 15 minutes. Very disappointed as we had been looking forward to the Benihana experience.
We obviously had reservations. We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time just to be seated. After we were seated we had to wait another 45 minutes to be assigned a table Chef. To me, this is unacceptable. They obviously did not have enough chefs signed on to service tables at that time. This is happened to us before on a few occasions. I'm very disappointed that they haven't worked this out yet. There is another Teppan restaurant that has opened close by that we will try instead of going to Benihana's again because of this.
Ofcourse, there was a waiting period, there always is. I always thought of Benihanas being somewhat upscale. But no this is like benihana from the hood, the hood version. Whatever. The food was good. Waitress hated her job. You could tell. Ehh it was ok.
Birthday celebration! Great location and service.
It was nice!
good place for a birthday but the staff never brought us our tea and getting water refilled took forever. I ordered some sushi which came at the end of the meal. Overall fun but get a server that serves.
We waited so long to start dinner. We had a 6:30 reservation and our chef didn't arrive until almost 8 pm. Food was good, experience is fun but the service was ridiculously slow. The restaurant is really loud and looking more than a little bit run-down.
Watch the drinks cuz they are pricey I paid 50 dollars for a drink someone at the table had it looked good and was for 2 but damn 50 dollars and it didn’t even give us a buzz food was good and so was show but watch the drink prices..
I love Benihana however the meals keep getting more pricey and the restaurant gets more shabby.
The bathrooms have always been lacking but they look like what you would find in a gas station. Is it too much to expect a clean floor, fresh coat of paint and toilet paper?
One thing that made Benihana special in the past was being able to bring in a bottle of wine without a corking fee what a great perk that was.
The samurai treat filet and shrimp is always delicious. I live the chicken fried rice by the portions are getting smaller and smaller. It used to mound in the bowl. Still very yummy but really not worth the price
Not impressed with menu and prices for what we received. Veggies were squash and onions and seved so far ahead of the meat portion that they were cold. The fried rice was extra. The sauces were not good. The sushi role appetizer was good. The shrimp was plentiful and cooked nicely but you wound up with cold veggies. I've had better for cheaper prices. Disappointed.
