I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised that this visit did not go as horribly as I thought it might. Reading the reviews on Yelp and based on my previous experiences at this location over the last few years, I was not expecting a good experience at all. However, other than a few minor annoyances, it really wasn't bad. The food was very good and was typical of the Benihana hibachi experience my family likes. It was, however, a very long, slow meal. We had 7:00pm reservations on a Monday night and they told us when we arrived that there were only two chefs, so we wouldn't be seated until closer to 7:30. We were seated around 7:30 when they had a full table of people (plus one extra) to seat. For this inconvenience, the manager, Cody, comped each party a free appetizer of our choice, which was really nice. Once seated, it took quite a while for a server to show up. He was very friendly and very attentive when he was around, however he disappeared for long periods of time, so there were quite a lot of empty plates and glasses sitting around an already cramped table. Once everyone ordered, it again took a long time to get drinks, then again for appetizers, soups, salads, etc. That slow pace continued throughout, and we weren't done until a little after 9:30pm. The only reason we went, after multiple bad experiences in the past few years, was because my husband had a birthday certificate he wanted to use. Based on this experience, we would go again, although we'd again go on an off night, as I can only imagine how busy they'd be on a weekend and how backed up they'd get, and we'd plan for a 3 hour or so meal.

Didn’t appreciate being snapped at by the chef when I told him multiple times my kids could have my mushrooms when they were cooked. He ignored me and still mixed them up with my steak after I specifically asked him not to. He told me to “relax - they don’t have a taste, anyway.” To me, they do have a taste which I didn’t want with my steak. He just laughed at me.

It was a fun night. The chef paid special attention to the two toddlers at the table. We celebrated a birthday and the waitress took our family picture and printed out four 4x6 pictures in a special birthday frame. It was such a nice and unexpected touch to the evening. The food was good also.

Food was really good. Chef was really good. The server just was not super attentive and still asked for a tip outside of the check. He proceeded to ask us to cash app him money because he did not want to share his tips with his coworkers.

Our chef just cooked our food in front of us. Nothing special, nothing fancy. I had more fun laughing with the other chefs than mine. And my food was wrong.

I took my husband to Benihana for Father's Day. It was his first experience there, and we had a wonderful experience. The waiter was hospitable and attentive. Our table chef was fantastic. He was clean, funny, talented with knives, and an overall fantastic cook. Reggie was the best.
