Waitress spilt soy Sauce on me and it was all over the floor also, she left it there, I didn’t realize it was still there and stepped in it going to bathroom. I had to wipe and clean the mess up myself that she made. I know it was an accident on her part but atleast clean it up after.
Juan Carlos is the best! He took great care of us at our table. I truly enjoyed my birthday. My fiancé enjoyed his meal as well. Thank you!
We made reservation and were seated promptly. Waiter was attentive and our chef arrived quickly. Food was excellent! We certainly enjoyed our lunch!
Our food was over cooked. The entire table. Shrimp, mushrooms and beef were all over cooked. Almost burnt. We did not get our hot green tea either. Usually there is some kind of performance with the hibachi, but there was not one. I’ve only ever been to the one in Dallas and had a great experience every time. Thought we would try this one closer to home and were highly disappointed. I don’t think we will be back unfortunately.
Great service and great food
Great service ! Really made my daughter feel special for her birthday!
Chef German was excellent. His food was outstanding and he put on a wonderful culinary show for the table. Service was a bit off. I think the server was new. I ordered a Benihana punch and had to ask where it was twice. Her response was the bartender had to attend to the entire restaurant and it takes a long time to get a drink. I replied that I had eaten at this particular Benihana's more than 100 times and NEVER had to wait for a drink from the poor bartender. My drink was delivered right away. Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
Waiting 45 minutes after reservations to be seated. 30 minutes of sitting and waiting to even eat. Forgot rice for us and items we paid for. Had to go through hoops to get it taken care of. Lastly a huge fight between employees cursing each other out by the table. Just a horrible experience.
Are chef did not make a show and I took my 7 year old doughter and she was excited to see the tricks and show and the guy dident do anything plus the food wasent even good bad experience all the way around
Overall nice experience. The food wasn’t as tasty as expected not sure if it was because it was late or what, but quite mediocre.
Crowded and had to wait a bit despite having a reservation, but that's to be expected most places on Mother's Day. Food was great!
waited more than 20mins even with reservation
There was a time when Benihana was one of our favorite hibachi restaurants. However over the years its really diminished and I doubt we will go again. The family went on Mother’s Day Sunday, I knew that day is always busy. I made an early reservation, and still waited at the front door in a very crowded waiting room for 45 minutes before seating. The hosts were like zombies, with no sense of urgency or real care. Finally the manager came to the front and arranged seating for all the people waiting. The service was less than ok, the hibachi chef was really the only positive staff member. I would not go to this location, this is not the Benihana of 20 years ago anymore sadly.
Mother’s Day. It always feels too rushed but it’s delicious and fun. Just wish we could have our appetizers and look at the menu but instead our appetizers came after the chef started cooking.
Mother’s Day was perfect
The place was packed and incredibly HOT!!! Also DIRTY!! My sister and I asked to have the water under our seats to be cleaned up before we sat down. The hostess told us it was just water. We should have left. I didn’t want to drag my mother around looking for another place to dine. The food has really gone downhill. The soup had a few fried onions, no flavor. The salads were served in HOT bowls...how stupid is that!! The sauces had zero flavor. Just not impressed at all. I dined for several years in the 90’s and early 2000’s at the Dallas Benihana’s and I will never return to the Frisco location again. It’s one big stupid loud hot room. Who is the idiot that designed this place?? My 88 year old mother was so hot that we had to pack up our food and leave and it was Mother’s Day. The prices are crazy high for such a low class place. It felt very fast food and tacky👎👎👎. Worst worst worst Benihana experience ever!!!!!
Mother’s Day and a promotion
the AC was not working and the restaurant was extremely warm
Got seated at reservation time.
Food and service was excellent.
The service and food was amazing!! It is much bigger than it looks on the outside which was a pleasant surprise. We will be coming again really soon.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch here! There was something for my very picky kid, and the hibachi lunch portions were huge. We really enjoyed it, and felt the price was worth the excellent service, the amount of food you get with your meal, and the overall experience.
I know I live in TX but dang that place was crowded! We were lucky that our party of four was sat with a party of three so there was one empty space between our groups. The restaurant was packed and quite noisy. I suppose that’s a Friday night. I think next time we go we’ll try to go earlier.
Easy to make the reservations. And when we arrived 20 minutes early to relax and order drinks from the bar, our table was ready on time.
Chef over cooked the food. We had the six course meal and the waiter did not remember we get ice cream with it.
We were still eating and out came the take home boxes. Chef was messy cleaning the grill burnt crust landed in my plate
Food is just ok. Still a fun place, but food isn’t anything special.
Reservation was for 5:45PM, we had 1 three year old, 2 two year olds and 1 under 1 so having to wait ONE HOUR for a table when we had a reservation was not ok. We won’t be returning, that’s a poor business model, just allow less reservations guys! Or seat us at a table (there were plenty available) and wait on us with drinks and apps and let us know you have a shortage of chefs. Also it wasn’t a good look when we were told when we first got there that we could not be seated until the last member of our party arrived... he arrives and we still waited 50 min for a table.
Benihana experience was outstanding. Great atmosphere and people. The service was excellent and the food was great!! I would recommend to anyone looking to have a delightful experience.
Everything was awesome going back today with family
Awesome time as always.... Had a new waitress that had just started a week before, and you would have never known, she was fantastic!
Service was exceptional. Friday lunch was VERY quiet. I was the only diner at my table. Yakisoba was good, but fried rice was "crunchy," and as many times as I've eaten at Benihana's, I've never had crunch in my fried rice. Needless to say, I hope for a different chef next time, although he was VERY friendly and pleasant.
Had a reservation for 7:45 weren’t seated until 8:25, food wasn’t how it usually is at all, and we’re regulars at this restaurant.
Reservation was over 30 min late and the main reason we picked Location was because we could have a reservation. We had a special birthday and elderly so we wanted to be able to sit relatively quickly while celebrating as a family. WITH a reservation we had to wait over 30 min and there were multiple errors with the meal ordered and even telling the hostess, waitress, open table no acknowledgement to the b day celebrating untold we were about to pay and done with the meal. Never going back - so very disappointed and the most expensive hibachi I’ve ever had :(
Bathroom was NASTY.
They need to do a much better job. This is 3 times in a row that I've gone and it has not been in good shape.
We took our daughter there for her 16th birthday. The food, staff, and chef were awesome at being very attentive. I just wish our table was a little further away from others who were celebrating. But other than that our experience was wonderful!! My daughter said they had the best sushi rolls she had ever tasted. I hate cucumbers but the chef did such a great job grilling them that I was even impressed!! It's a little pricey for our budget but well worth for a once in a lifetime experience.
It was just an ok experience. The food was pretty bland and some items were over cooked. The waitress was slow with drinks and readily come back to check in on us. I’ve had much better experiences at their other establishments
Food was not seasoned or cooked all the way. There was a hair in my salad. Spoke to two managers and did not receive an apology. Will not visit this location again!
Really a nice dining experience. Friendly staff. Food was terrific. I'd go back...
The server a black man was awful, he kept forgetting simple thinks like forks on the table.
It was terrible. They didn’t honor the birthday certificate discount and when asked, was very rude. Will never go back there again
