There were 7 of us at the table, 3 different groups. The family of 3 was catered to and their food was all prepared first as they had to customize everything including the fried rice. One wanted extra egg and one wanted no egg, chicken or vegetables. Once they finished cooking for this family, then they began our food. This was a birthday celebration for me so I wasn't impressed at all. Everyone received extra fried rice on their plates except me. I'm not sure why he left me out. I'm not a fan of their veggies as it was just Zucchini & Onion. Their volcano consisted of 3 onion rings. No show or entertainment other than scaring the little girl with the family that ate first. The food is mediocre these days. The entertainment is non-existent. It felt like just a very expensive dinner as prices have gone up and well over $100 for 2 of us without any drinks. They charge a full $7 per person for the fried rice, but if you get steamed rice, it is part of your meal. Not worth the extra $14 for 2 people. Entries are mid $40's to $50's. Everyone gets 2 shrimp with their meal, plus whatever you order. We've been going here for years, but the experience has really gone downhill. Also, they only do the birthday celebrations Monday thru Thursday. Even with the birthday coupon, getting only 2 entrees, fried rice & water to drink, it was over $100.

Food was great but service lacking. Was never given cloth napkins. When we asked for napkins we were brought cheap paper napkins. Service was not attentive refilling water glasses. It stinks to have a place this pricey and not get good service.

After waiting for 23 minutes despite having a reservation, we chose to eat at the bar. The service was unacceptable; the food took an excessively long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was at best lukewarm. I ordered chicken fried rice but found no chicken in it. The lobster and shrimp were served at room temperature as well. Given our frequent visits to Benihana, this was by far the worst experience we have ever had!

Not a lot of flavor and small portions, very disappointing after spending this much on dinner for date night.

Server was very kind and attentive. The chef messed up my food a little and the rice was very dry because another party at our table asked for less ingredients to be used and the chef kept catering to their tastes instead of cooking the traditional way.

Service was pretty disappointing. Waitress was slow at bringing refills, most of the table had water. Had to ask for that, and my husband’s glass of tea. Had to ask for salad/soup bowls to be removed, table can be quite cluttered when staff isn’t on top of things. Noticed what seemed to be management just standing around, when clearly they could have helped the staff. The hibachi cook was excellent and very entertaining for everyone. Had to ask for green tea/ice cream included with entree after the waitress gave us our bill.

3/5 stars I remember Benihana being much better. This time around, the restaurant felt pretty empty, and the food was just average. I went with the family, and even the kids were underwhelmed — especially by the grill chef, who didn’t bring much energy or flair to the experience. Gone are the days of catching shrimp tails in your hat or watching a spinning egg before it gets cracked. The value is just okay, but if I’m being honest, I’ve had better hibachi from a food truck. It’s not terrible, but it just doesn’t live up to what it used to be. On a positive note, the service was good, which helped a bit — but overall, this will probably be my last visit.
