   Visiting as we don't have a Benihana in our state. My favorite restaurant. Immediately was told they had no Plum Wine and had been out for months. Shrimp tempura was returned, the waitress informed us that they had a new cook. She easily took the item off the bill. The table chef was on day two, did a great job. We shared that it was my birthday, but received no acknowledgment from the waitress.

   The price increases have been ridiculous. The same meal at other local hibachi restaurants was $19 cheaper than at Benihana. I have always liked and enjoyed Benihana, but I cannot go back. The Prices are too insane. Again, the same meal--Filet and shrimp was $50 here but $31 at other local hibachi places. And similar with the meals ordered by the rest of my family. Benihana will need to cut its prices. I went with the Birthday Program they have, which gives a $30 discount if another adult entree is purchased. When I first started going, this paid for most if not all of the meal. Now, that covers slightly more than half the meal. The discount--while nice--is no longer worth going for.

   We went for a late birthday dinner. The chef(Tam) was awesome. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back for sure

   Reservations were for 6 pm, didn't get seated until 7:40 pm. Then sat another 15-20 minutes waiting to order drinks. Staff was pleasant and understanding, food was good but the wait definitely had a deflating effect on the evening. No offer of discount or any other accommodation for the long wait or any real explanation provided. Might go back but definitely not on a holiday.

   I had a 5:45 p.m. reservation. They were running behind, by over an hour. I understand it was am extremely busy Mother's day. I have worked in the service industry over 20 years. I dont know what all behind the scenes issues may have contributed, but maybe stop taking reservations, if you are not going to be able to seat the guests in a timely manner. They did warn, they were running about 30 minutes behind when we checked in. But it turned out to be double that. The staff was friendly. Dinner was great, but waiting over an hour after the reservation time to be sat was quite disappointing.

   There is not one positive thing to say. I made reservations for 5:45, finally got seated at 6:40. We ordered white rice for the kids, they never got it. The couple across from us were so frustrated that they got up and left before even getting their food. My wife and I are both having stomach cramps within an hour of eating. I will never be back and would never recommend this restaurant. It was an absolutely horrible experience.

   The food and cooking portion were great. The service not so much. Most everyone had reservations and still were waiting 45mins+ to be seated., told by the staff that corporate opens up seating to open table and that can’t always honor it…..Once seated it was another 30-45mins to take our order. Our chef Fernando was amazing tho and it was delicious! Also not sure how it can state $30 and below on the app for the cost…

   I had a reservation and it still took an hour to be seated. Our waitress was very slow. She didn't bring out the kids food (chicken tenders) or drink and instead of just refunding it. She gave it to us in a to go box. It took 20 minutes after eating before she brought us our check. It wasn't a great experience with her. However, the chef did a great job. He was very skillful and funny and also the food tasted great.

    We go there at least three times a year for each of our birthdays. Tonight was the best ever. We had young Tony as our chef and he was amazing. The food was not too salty, very hot, he was funny, but not intrusive. Will definitely request him in the future. Always a fun night.
