Our chef Damian (from Miami) was awesome!
We always have a good time at Benihana! This time was no different and we met new friends at our table too. The waiter Jose was great and went over and above to make sure we were happy. The chef JP( John Paul we were told lol) was funny and entertaining too. We were there for my daughter's 18th birthday and he made her laugh and her friends too! I would highly recommend this restaurant for laughs and a great time!!
A must visit every time we go to lake buena vista. Usually our final ,dining experience before returning home! A tasty, well prepared and entertaining meal!
I have to say, I’ve been 3 times to the one in International drive and they’ve been 3 horrible experiences. We drove a little more and came to this location and it was amazing. Food was just perfect and the service was timely and very attentive. Huge thanks to our chef Maulene and to our server Jose! They really know what they’re doing.
Very good service even though it was Mother's Day and very busy. We enjoyed our chef, he was personable and fun
Benihana has been an east coast favorite for over 40 years. It’s my family’s favorite restaurant for holidays, birthdays, celebrations, and just because.
Muy buena experiencia, la espera fue corta y el servicio excelente.
Not the best experience for my family . We were sitting and waiting for the cooker like 45 min .
This is a good spot for a fun meal. A bit of a longer than typical wait but for the area it was expected.
Our chef was fantastic, great food and he was very entertaining
Everything was great! Server was very friendly. Food was delicious.
PJ was so funny. We had ages 9-85 at our table and he made everyone laugh. Food was fantastic.
Honestly this is a mixed review. We had reservations for 7:15pm. We knew we were going to be early so we asked the host if they could move up our reservation. We arrived at 6:40 and weren't seated until after 7:30. No apology from the manager. He did ask at 7:20 if we were being helped and I told him we were waiting for a reservation and they were already late to seat us. He didn't acknowledge that, he just walked away.
We were finally seated at a table next to a party of girls from a cheer competition. There were 16 people at the two tables next to us that was so incredibly loud and unruly that we literally couldn't even have a conversation with the person sitting directly right next to us. The girls were out of control, but it wasn't hard to understand because three of the four cheer moms were literally so drunk they could barely stand up. I was shocked to see the manager come back in with another drink for the loudest mom telling her that after she finished it he would bring her another one.
I finally asked the manager to stop serving the worst offender. Then one of the moms came to our table told us what terrible parents we were for addressing the issue. She was so drunk she had to lean on our table to keep standing. You could not even understand he because of the severe slurring.
Fortunately the drunk cheer mom finally left. Our server was outstanding and the chef was the best hibatchi chef I've ever had. The food was fantastic. Unfortunately it was the manager with wreckless behaviour.
Sadly this puts a stain on the reputation of the incredible sport of cheer. Our daughter, a level 4 all-star cheer champion had to witness this behavior and was mortified.
We always like dining at Benihana, Orlando. It is in the tourist area (Lake Buena Vista); but still a treat for us locals. Our reservation was the first one after they opened at 4 on a weekday and we were the first ones in the restaurant. Our service as excellent as always and our chef, Bruce, made our experience fun for our out of state guests. Making the reservation on Open Table was easy and easy to modify.
We have been going to this location at the Hilton for many years now for birthdays and out of town guests. We have always have enjoyed the fact that it was never too crowded and noisy compared to the other location on I drive. As expected the food was good and the service fantastic but this time we were really disappointed . The reason why is that for steak house prices we don't go there for the food but more for the Hibachi show . With out that show we can go to the local Kyoto and have the same good food and save 20$ per person. We got no show our chef spun her spatula a few times and did the onion volcano very badly and that was it. In the past I guess we got lucky because we always had a witty chef with lots of fun tricks that got out whole table going lots of fun. When dropping 400$ on my group I felt a little ripped off and sad for my out of country guests who had never experienced this type of restaurant. I wont be back !
Our Chef Bruce was excellent and the food was also excellent as always. I always enjoy myself and leave with food and good memories.
Very good food! The service provided by the chef was great too, but the tips don’t go for him what made us paid an extra tip for him. The table service it was not so good and the beverages took a little bit long.
Great! We enjoyed our dinner very much.
Awesome service. Awesome food. Overall fantastic time. Best Japanese Steakhouse experience in the past 5 years
Great food, great chef!!
Definitely not 4+ stars
Our chef Samurai aka Bruce Lee Roy lol! Was amazing. He was so funny and entertaining. He made my sons 13th birthday extra special. The food was cooked to perfection and worth every penny.
Great time had by the entire family. Chef was energetic and awesome
Very good but very expensive. Parking was also free.
Food was cooked to perfection! Show and presentation was high quality. We ask for Samari every time we go.
Son’s 5th birthday
Family Dinner.. Great Experience
They charge $3 for fried rice but no charge for plain white rice. Noodles dont come with it that's another $3 charge. If you want anything extra they charge you. Service was slow and they cook did not interact with the table...wasn't even busy for a friday night at 7 PM and I made a pointless reservation. KOBES is by far way better and cheaper. A family of 5 over $200 on okay food. Will not be going back.
Took 1hr to get starter and no chef avail.
The explanations were poor
Newer chef, focused on only one of the two children, waiter not observant to our needs.
The place was super busy. Staff were friendly and working hard but just had too many tables.
The combination of the vent hoods and lots of big groups made the restaurant SUPER noisy.
Birthday celebrations great environment
We loved place , but waitress was not so good , she speaks Portuguese but she speaks so loud and was in a hurry ...
We arrived early for reservation but were not
Seated until 30 minutes past our confirmed reservation. We were promised kids menus but had to get up after 10
Minutes to get them ourselves. There was no parking near the restaurant. Our chef was entertaining but not child appropriate with two kids at the table. Food was very good.
We had the family with us and enjoyed our experience at Benihana. The food was delicious and we had plenty of it.
Great time very happy place!!
Good food love this place
Had 730 reservations and wasn’t seated til 8. The chef was amazing but the rest of the staff had no idea what they were doing
We had a great time. Good service and the meal was excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sitting at the grill and watching the chef prepare our dinner. He was entertaining and professional and the food was terrific! We had steak & scallops and salmon--all great! And, the vegies were terrific too!
