The environment was extremely loud. They crammed us into a very tight space where servers kept squeezing by and bumping us. Our server was not knowledgeable about the menu and did not bring our tea until the end of the meal and that's only because I asked why we didn't get it, it's included in our 5 servings? At one point she yelled over our table to another server ! So unpleasant and unprofessional! The area was so tight that our cheif could barley move to cook, so the presentation was lacking to say the least! Never again!

the site manager needs to service/clean the overhead ceiling tiles which are in dire need of changing out. The overhead intake air vents are completely clogged and caked with soot/debris. There is an exposed wall outlet that needs a cover plate on back room to address also

My only complaint would be that our chef used way too much salt. I know soy sauce is salty, but I’m referring to is the use of table salt. So just cut back on a salt.

Everything that can go wrong . Went wrong. It was my son birthday and also thanksgiving . So we were excited to be there. I booked the hilton to be in the same hotel and everything. We arrived 20 min early and the person at front was a bit rude about it so ok. We understood that we were early. After 10 min they called us and seated with another party but they were super antisocial . We understand this is not benihana’s fault but was very akward. The server was nice and we told her about my son’s bday etc the cook was nice but he didnt do the benihana show we expected. It was very short and couple times knifes went to the floor. We tried to light his mood as maybe the other party put him nervous but hey not our fault. They even left to a small table when he was cooking . Food was fine but the mood was not what i expected. Asked for refill of my soda and server completely forgot. Then at the end no desert was offered and they didnt sing happy birthday and no photo like the rest of people . So. Was an experience that i dont plan to repeat in Benihana ever again

Our chef Rafy did an awesome job and put on a great show along with good flavor on the food. However, the rest of the meal left a lot to be desired. Didn’t get our soup until after the chef arrived. Didn’t get salad until the meal was almost over. Didn’t get sushi until the meal was almost over. Didn’t get drink refills. Our waitress put a lot of blame on the chef for being too quick to show up, but it didn’t seem like he was that much too early.

We frequent this location. However, on this night, it just wasn’t meant to be. While we were seated quickly, we were told before drinks could even be ordered that the wait would be unusually long. We were told they were short on chefs (only 5 for the whole restaurant), and they pointed out the table across from us had already been waiting 40 minutes (without so much as the salads and soup starters either) and our wait would be a minimum of an hour before we’d have a chef even close to coming to our table to cook. We have never had this occur in seven years of going to this location. In addition, it was much louder than it has ever been in the restaurant. We left before even ordering so much as a glass of water.

It was horrible!!!! We had to wait 1/2 hour for our reservation and then were told that it would be an hour or more before a chef could come to take care of us. We went to the sushi bar. The miso soup was terrible. The sushi was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Stay away from this restaurant

Not as good as usual, waited half an hour to be seated past our booking time. Very noisy, too many birthdays, food fine but chef seemed unsure who was having what and struggled sharing the portions.

Positives: 1. The chef at our table was excellent! He was funny and the food was delicious! Definitely try to get Bruce as your chef. He made our time there worth it! 2. Our table was ready right at our reservation time. Negatives: 1. We were sat right away, but waited over 30 mins before we even got a drink. 2. Our service was very slow and not equal to standard I would expect for the prices you pay. What I mean by that was our server asked us to pass salads down around the table instead of walking them around and placing them at your spot. Thought that was weird having other guests at our table passing around my bowl of salad. She was also passing me things over peoples’ heads and they had to duck out of the way and I had to reach my arm over their head. Weird and awkward. I will say she was nice, but definitely room for improvement in that department. 3. Prices! Food was good, but over $30 for chicken and an up charge for fried rice was a bit ridiculous. Bottled beer prices were way too high as well. Conclusion: Would I go here if I had kids and wanted some entertainment with my dinner, yes! Would I go here again as a group of adults looking for an upscale meal, no. Hope this helps you make your decision!

We had a fun, great meal at the Benihana. AJ was our chef and he was excellent! He explained everything as he went and answered all questions. The food tasted great! The service staff at the bar and table were very friendly and quick. The decor was the only downside to this restaurant. It was boring and dated.

Waited 45 minutes for our chef to come to the table. When he did finally come, he discovered that the table had not been turned on. So we had to wait another 15 minutes for the table to heat up before he started cooking. No fault of the chef, he was great once he finally started cooking. We were given shrimp tempura to tide us over while we waited for the chef. It must’ve been sitting back in the kitchen for a couple minutes because it was lukewarm and soggy. Our waiter would disappear for large swaths of time. Our table mates had to get up and go find him when they needed something from him. The manager never came over to check on us and apologize.

Love Benihana but was a disappointing outing. Had reservations for 8pm, arrived early at 730p. Didn't get seated until 840 and no orders were taken, not even drinks until 9p. Not sure what was going on. Other tables that were seated after us already had drinks and appetizers before we even ordered. The chef was great, she tried to be entertaining but I think everyone was just too hungry at that point. Food was prepared well and was delicious. What extremely aggrevating was after portioning out the food, rather than splitting the extra among those seated, she THREW IT OUT. Whan an incredible waste. I have never seen this done before. We've been going to this location for over 10 years. Not sure if it's a training issue but the staff definitely needs improvement. This location is close to Disney Springs and has a lot of tourists. It is always loud and busy. While we will continue to go to Benihana, I think we will avoid this location in the future and try the one on International Drive. Between the rising prices, smaller portions, not to mention wasting food, and extremely long wait times, it's no longer worth it.

We celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday dinner at Benihana. It was her first time there and she loved it. The food, the chef and the server were all amazing. I would definitely go back and bring more friends. Thank you once more for making my daughter’s birthday night extra special!🎉

Drew was our server and he was diligent on ensuring that I didn't order anything that went against my allergy restriction . He provided me with delicious alternatives as well. Bruce was a phenomenal chef! By far one of my favorites, we loved his humor and he was very aware of not cross contaminating my meal.

We had a reservation at 630pm. There was every time slot available for a reservation before we got there so we arrived at 605 hoping to get seated a little early since they had so many openings. They didn't end up seating us until 640. We sat at the hibachi and I ordered a side of steak fried rice and another side of shrimp fried rice for my small kids because they don't need the full $30 hibachi kids meal, it's way too much food and we're on vacation so can't take leftovers. They gave us the smallest portion of meat but mixed them together so both kids had a couple bites of steak and shrimp, luckily they don't have a shrimp allergy but thought it was really weird they mixed them together. It took over an hour for the chef to come and we didn't end up leaving the restaurant until nearly 9pm. The service was absolutely awful, everyone was so annoyed and ready to leave. The food, of course, tasted great, but was not worth the wait at all. Would definitely never go back.
