   Our RSVP was for 8pm. We were sat at 8:45pm. After being seated at our table for 15 mins, our server showed up to take our drink order. Our food was not so great. Ordered filet mignon and they cut it so much, that it looked like bite size chopped steak pieces. Chef put way too much black pepper on everything. I will not be returning to this location.

   Horrible experience. Turned a loyal benihana customer into someone that will not be returning, at least not this location. Arrived on time for reservation, was seated after nearly an hour and by 9:20 pm still didn’t have a chef at our table. No respect or consideration for our time. On top of all this, also had an entitled and rude hostess that lacks any courtesy to handle any situation. Clearly acted like she was above us and that having made a reservation there didn’t mean anything. We weren’t the only one in this situation. Staff clearly overwhelmed and not trained to handle any type of customer care. Our kids were exhausted and we ended up leaving 2 hours after our reservation without the main meal and a $40 parking charge. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend.

   Waited an hour after our reservation time. Hostess rolled eyes when we asked how much longer, etc. A second hostess made a smart comment when I asked if they have WiFi (no phone service in restaurant and my phone was on SOS- I’d like to be reachable, as I was separated from my family) He stated, “We talk to each other here- it’s part of the experience.” Once seated, we waited 20 min for a waitress to take our drink order. Food was mediocre. Chef was fantastic, however. He made up for the awful experience, otherwise.

   We were very disappointed coming here for dinner. We came last year and had an excellent experience that made us want to come back but totally opposite this year. We got there early knowing our reservation was later and asked if we could be seated early. They told us no so went into the bar where the bar top was not cleaned off. We took the seats because it’s all that was open and moved the dirty glasses up at the edge of the bar. They sat there the whole time we were having drinks. Then came time to our reservation. Still waited almost 30 minutes not for a table but the manager as well as the girl at the front seemed to have no clue who was going where and where people were waiting to be seated. They couldn’t find peoples reservations and looked very lost and confused. We finally sat down and drink orders were taken and brought but food came out way too late. A table that was seated after us got their food way before us. The chef was already starting to cook in front of us before we got our soup and salad. The hibachi food cooked in front of us had way too much salt on it. Not very good like I have at other restaurants of the same structure. Needless to say we were very disappointed in our dinner here. So different from the previous year. Will probably find somewhere else to go next time we visit Disney.

   Our visit was a mix of both positive and negative. I began writing a detailed breakdown of those highlights and came to a typing limit way before being finished so I had to revise and keep it brief and generic. There were good and bad points in every aspect of the evening, the hostess, the server, the chef, and the ambiance. Without more space, I cannot explain all the things that happened, but it was not the entertaining and fun evening we expected. It has been a while since our last Benihana visit so maybe some things have drastically changed since then, but if so, these changes are not for the positive. In summary, the food was really good, the service had good and bad, the atmosphere was usually loud, and the flow of dinner was very much out of normal order. Based on this visit, it may be a while before we return.

   We have been to other restaurants many times, but this was the most horrible experience we have ever had. The service was very slow and the food was of poor quality. My wife is allergic to gluten and milk, and even though she had instructed the attendant, they served her food with gluten. It was absurd. The soy sauce was out of date. The worst experience we have ever had.

    It was horrible. The chef tried to hand my husband the knife and said you think you can do it better. Also, my son asked for a volcano and the chef told him tomorrow. He never did it. He burnt my chicken and my husbands surf & turf. The food was way over seasoned and took forever. No show just a horrible experience. The managers were jokes. One of them said to me after I packed up our food after my 2 kids & husband refused to come back to the table, well I guess you will enjoy your food later. This is in reference in me saying I’m not paying full price. Don’t go. We have been eating at this location for 12 years. Will never be back!
