The place was a little dirty. They kept spilling food on my boyfriend. And all on our table and just left it. The food had started being cooked before our appetizer was even brought out. I had to ask for it. We also had to ask for our sprites 3 times because they kept forgetting. But our cook Gabe was perfect he was the best part about the dinner.

Made reservations for my boyfriends birthday for 6:30pm showed up at 6:15 told us to wait because our table was being cleaned. We found ourselves still waiting for “our table to be cleaned” 45 minutes later. Went to ask how much longer it would take lady said we never checked in! Always thought this place was up there but nope I was so wrong the hype is no longer there for me. There was way too many waiter up in the front doing nothing no wonder they couldn’t seat us on time.

We had a 5:30 reservation for a party of 7 and arrived on time but wasn’t seated until 5:55p. The receptionists in the front were very rude and seemed to have an attitude every time I asked about an update. It wasn’t until I asked to speak to a manager that we were then seated. The manager was very kind and apologetic for the beginning service we experienced which was appreciated. The chef was nice but due to the noise level it was hard to hear him. Food was decent but overpriced for the value but the drinks were good and strong. Overall the experience was just ok. It was my first time at this restaurant and if I were to try Benihana again it would be a different location.

Food great as usual. Service was really slow. I go quite often and it seems like it is gradually declining. It was 40 minutes we didn't get our drinks yet. so I went to the bar, the bartender said oh they are ready and had them delivered. Cocktails are expensive. To spend over $600 dollars for 5 people, I would think service would be better. Our chef didn't get to our table for almost one hour. One more thing, why do they still have paper straws, aren't we past that! terrible to spend so much money on a specialty cocktail and have to use a paper straw(it seems to affect the tasting pleasure).My worse experience to date

It was my first ever time eating here and I was celebrating my birthday.Reservation at 9, and immediately told them my order. Waited over an hour at 10 when they called a guy and he cooked for very little time, chicken very chewy . For it being 6 course they served cold soup and forgot the salad, we started eating and everyone got their rice except for us. The chef looked for a server for the longest and couldn’t find her , he said he would get the rice himself and also never came back. It wasn’t until they asked for my ice cream choice that she came out and which I told her she never served me rice and all she said do you even need it now that you finished the meats. I felt like since I was paying for it she should just give it to me. I told her and I’ll take it to go. She rolled her eyes and asked what kind of ice cream and she came back to sign happy birthday , she had candles on my boyfriends ice cream and proceeded to sing him happy birthday , though I tried to correct her, she ignored me. Honestly I felt like a huge chunk of my time wasted and money

Had table reservations at 7:15pm was not seated till 8:10pm. Did not get a teppan chef till 9pm. We had young kids with us. There for a special occasion. We ordered edamame was drenched in butter. Never ordered that so asked for plain and Server never brought it out but charged us. Also charged my son’s beverage incorrectly increasing bill. When I asked her for new bill she was not very happy. Took 25 min to get a new bill she snook on table and walked off. My kids waited 30 min for their ice cream after meal was over. Decided to talk to restaurant manager, she listened to the issues and kindly discounted our bill by half. And though I didn’t want to give the server a full tip we did tip her. I also told her if she were more customer facing and showed some empathy for all the mistakes instead of looking inconvenienced things may have turned out better. She said she was running 3 tables but with $400-$500 worth of meals per tables for that hour I expect a bit more. We will definitely will be visiting other locations and not returning to this one.
