   Everything overall was very good. The main problem we had is that even though we had set a reservation 9pm, we didn't get sat down until about 10:30 and then took another half hour or so to get attended. I understand that it was a busy night being mother's day, but at that point, why even make reservations let alone offer them on the website, if we need to wait just as long as walk ins did... again, everything else was phenomenal besides the wait time. Hopefully, next time we don't have to wait so long.

   It was really hot inside, wait time was insane and this is with reservation BUT it was good our chef was amazing

   Overbooked for a holiday weekend food was horrible no seasoning, overcooked and the presentation was boring

   The portions are really small & the wait times for your chef to arrive can vary from 20-50 mins depending how busy it is. The food is ok but I think they’re menu should be more ala carte based as most of the sides that come with the entree are mediocore at best. The chef does display a nice show but other than that I didn’t find anything particularly tasty. Overall it was ok but I won’t be coming back.

   I did my reservation at 9 30 And call me about 10 45 Warm beer Dirt dishes plates forks Water test like sink water Never again wôrt experience

   They over booked and it was 88 degrees inside. Reservations for 430pm got seated at 530pm the hostess forgot about us. Our 18 month old was melting down from hunger and heat. My sister in law went to manager and he made hostess apologize and we finally ate. We were so hot and exhausted food sucked. We heard staff say they overbooked all weekend. Poor leadership and judgement. They did comp us 25% but we will never go back and not recommend. Their greed shouldn’t be rewarded for ruining our Mother’s Day.

   5/5 – We celebrated a fantastic Mother’s Day at Benihana, Ontario! Celeste, our cook, was an incredible entertainer and storyteller, and Isaac provided excellent service with genuine care. Although we were seated an hour after our reservation, the vibrant energy, great food, and warm hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team for making our day so special!

   Overall, everything was good. Our waiter and cook was excellent! The only downside, the staff up front that was checking guests in, could use a little work. It seems maybe they overbooked for the time being. We had reservations and weren't seated until about 25-30 min later. I get it was busy since a lot of us seemed to be celebrating Mother's Day today. I think that the whole point of making reservations was expecting to be seated at that time. I've never worked in the food industry, so again, Idk how they organize when reservations are made. Other than that, we enjoyed it🙂

   We visit Benihana fairly often but sadly on the day before Mother’s Day, the place was crazy busy, which I’m fine with but they were VERY behind (about 30 minutes in seating us), and the chef was extremely rushed….cooking all foods at the same time, mixing meats and sides, delivering food out of order, and was very sparse with seasoning and unfortunately flavor. This is not the first time we’ve had this happen on a holiday so clearly they have a different operations policy for larger crowds…it’s just too bad it affects the overall experience, especially at the high prices of the food. We still love Benihana but might adjust our visits in the future.

    Our chef, Kevin, was awesome possum! He made SUCH tasty food and still managed to talk with us. I love the Koi fish pottery I got!!! Well done Benihana
