Really bad service. The food was over cooked and the meat was full of fat. Terrible experience
We went for my daughter’s 24th birthday as we have for many years... The food is always good and we enjoy the whole experience. Our server Brandon was excellent and he made the evening even more special... we will be back soon!
The food is great as all ways. The chefs are awesome and the whole experience is amazing.
Having a well-trained and enthusiastic chef makes all the difference. If the chef is unskilled or rushed through the training process, a patron can taste it in their food. This time we got lucky we had a fantastic chef.
Our Chef Noodles was Great — both a good show but also an excellent chef. Our server Alex was great as well.
Worst experience ever. You guys should be ashamed to have the Benihana brand associated with this establishment. Had a reservation but still had to wait an extra hour to get seated. The management team has no idea how to turn a table. I estimate that this restaurant could make 3x more in revenue on busy nights if it was managed properly. You should close the restaurant, re-institute a training program, and then reopen.
Our reservation was at 7 and they didn’t seat us till 725. With two kids, we rushed and had to leave early so they don’t pass their bed time.
We were celebrating my sons 14th birthday. The chef was very engaging & personable.
The ambiance and service was great, as usual. However our chef Andy wasn’t the best showman and he over cooked our Chateaubriand steak, scallops and lobster. It was a good dinner, but over cooked.

The best deal they have is the Chefs table club. We each get a certificate for $30.00 off a meal for our birthdays and that cannot be beat. My wife and I enjoy the bar/lounge before dinner as they have half off appetizers so we get a Las Vegas roll before we sit down at the table.
I was there early and they made me wait 20 min past my reservation
Our chef Mike Le was an excellent chef … enjoyed our time with others at our share table. Service was very good as well. No problems, good time and great food … can you ask for more?

Always enjoy the food and the entertainment we’ve been going for years and plan to keep on going it is a little expensive though
It was very dirty. The bathroom trash cans were full and spilling over, toilet papers and seat covers everywhere. The cooks had dirty white shirts on that didnt look laundered. Same with the aprons.
When we used to go to Benihanas it was a place where people dressed up and it was a special place to go. People were wearing sweats, tshirts..... A solution, do a sweep of the bathroom every 30 min. Hostesses should be wearing the same clothes and not their own street clothes. Cooks should be wearing clean shirts and aprons each sitting. Dress code would be good to install. Lights in the table area could be dimmed a bit so it didnt look like a cafeteria.
Also our guest from Australia had ordered fried rice but the cook made light of her order and didnt give her a fried rice. Instead she got white rice. I think it was because he had already divided up the bowls. So we shared with her. All cooks should confirm who is getting fried rice before he starts cooking and dividing to confirm his order is right.
I am a business owner and also travel a lot. I spend a lot of time at restaurants. I would like for Benihana to continue being successful. These are the reasons for my comments.
Wow, came for lunch and got a show too. The cook tossed shrimp into the air until they vanished and we made the rest of the shrimp vanish. Large knives were thrown around making my heart race and flames actually shot out of the cooks nose,, actually experienced that once through my nose when I applied too much spicy salsa a street taco. All and all, it was a great day and highly recommend this meal and the table with the pink napkins and hot all you can drink Japanese tea.
Our server was not attentive and the service was so slow and she took away salad when it was full. asked for refill , she forgot. compare to the our next table server she was not doing a good job.
Wait staff and chef were very efficient, gracious, and friendly. As always the chef amazed us with his skill with knife, spatula, and tricks including an onion volcano and flipping eggs into his hat.
We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything was wonderful as usual. The server was very attentive, the chef very entertaining. We had one member of our party who was there for the first time and she was not disappointed. We will be back!

Sat in the dining area. Took an hour to get our food. The overflow crowd from the teppanyaki room basically hovering around talking loudly. Not a peaceful meal.
I would but not the chef that we had that night. I can’t remember his name, but it’s seem like he was in a hurry to cook. He was cooking everything so fast that the chicken was not well cook and he gave my food to my friend. Every time I would ask him for something he seem to get really upset. I didn’t even eat my chicken cause he didn’t even gave me a chance to tell him that I wanted it more cook. Our waitress was very helpful, she gave us good service. I also left my number in a card and never es received a call back.

Noise level was very bad. It’s not usually that bad so it must have been our table. I could not get our waitresses attention for a second drink. She never checked in with us after the salad until desert

Although I have enjoyed Benihana in the past, our Chef on this particular trip failed almost every trick he tried and the food was mostly overcooked

We had made a reservation for 6pm but didn’t get sat til about 45 minutes later. The place was really noisy and there were a lot kids running around. It was my first time here and I wasn’t very impressed. The food was okay. My steamed rice was undercooked. Honestly, I don’t think I would dine here again.
Our chef Joshue was great and Ben our waiter was funny, quick and took good care of our group.
The service and food were excellent. Our server was very courteous and let us take our time. A wonderful afternoon of dining and visiting with a dear friend.
Our table was by the kitchen and Everytime one of the servers passed they yelled corner. Became rather annoying during conversation
I have been coming here for about 10 years, several times a year and I have to say, this last time 3/27/2019 was bad. Let’s be honest- the cook makes our brakes your enjoyment- our cook, Joshue came over with his cart, everyone was talking of course and he took this knifes and slammed them against the grill to get everyone’s attention. We were all stunned - it was so loud. So that’s how it started- he was annoyed at our waitress (and made it know to all 3 different parties at our table) because she didn’t bring him rice bowls in time, which was hurried, undercooked rice was ready or something. The steak was dry(ordered medium) chicken was rubbery, no flavor- thank goodness for the dipping sauces. He couldn’t even catch a shrimp tail in his hat and had a stupid looking rubber chicken dressed in a Santa suit that squeaked when you squeeze it, it look like a dog toy. I could go on and on. But- I won’t.

We always use our Benihana Birthday certificate- enjoyed the food and the atmosphere however after we had given the waiter our credit card to pay the bill he charged us for a drink that he neglected to charge another patron- not professional we had to get the manager to clear the overcharge-sneaky waiter also the tipping guidelines are very high considering the service/
Service was great, food was delicious. The only thing that was differmt was the size of the steak, I felt that the portion of the steak has gotten a lot smaller.

Disappointed that we were never asked if we were ok with chef cooking food with gluten free soy sauce and substitute butter for garlic butter due to gluten allergy for other family seated with us.
