It took 1 hour for the chef to come out and cook. My drink was warm. The waiters take forever to come back to the table. They fell off this used to be one of my fav places.
Wonderful service and great food
The server was very personable and made sure we were attended to while also giving us enough space. Saul was there every time we needed him and he didn’t hover over us or rush us. I hate to give a bad review but I believe that given the feedback the business is then able to get it right so here goes ! The cook was kind of boring. We’ve been to other hibachis, (which people go to for the experiene) it was very boring here. Also the food was very sub par. We’ve had better food at other less popular hibachis. We had a $600 tab which would’ve been ok if the experience and the food was worth it. I did enjoy my lobster sushi roll though that was delicious!

My boyfriend and I were late to out reservation, but we were seated 15 min after our arrival. The food was great and considering the social distancing rules we had a great time. Will definitely come again.
We were sat 30mins after our reservation other than that our experience was perfect.

It’s was my 3rd time at the location. Never experience such an horrible costumer service. they were rushing us to finish our food to close. We asked for a bottle a water and they gave us water from the sink because they were running out of bottle of water. Other than that, the food was good.
The food is over priced but the experience was cool
For a first timer the food was great and chief was amazing overall is always an amazing experience but our waiter I felt like he could of explained the menu better but every time I asked him a question his reply was look at the menu

Nice to be back but service was lacking. Had to ask for things multiple times and a shift change after drink order confused the new server and chef and they almost missed a shrimp

My family and I went to the restaurant for my brothers birthday. My experience was not that great. I’ve been to the restaurant in the past and it has always been a great experience. I definitely understand that we are still adjusting to covid but. Here are some of my concerns.
- I had reservations but had to wait 20 mins for a table, we showed up early in case there was a wait but did not expect to wait that long
-there was a awful smell of nyc garbage that would pass every time the wind blew. Maybe the garbage can be placed in an area Where the tables aren’t, and the garage should not pass or be taking out where we are dining.
The dumpster was in the same walkway as the seating area.
- our food was cold. The soup especially.
-1/2 of my table has a shellfish allergy and wasn’t able to substitute for extra vegetables or rice. So they had a 4 course meal.
- there was no passion fruit for your famous drinks
-there was no ice cream, machine broken
- we didn’t receive our green tea that was included in our meal. We asked for it but by then we was ready to go.
-our tab was ridiculously high and included the gratuity automatically even though my party was not 8 or more.
- we did love the collectors cup though it was really nice.
I hope these issue would be taken into consideration for a better experience.
Due to covid the seating is outside which is fine only problem is that the street smells like trash which was very stinky that day. I was not able to eat because of the smell but my 2 other people in my party did. They ordered dinner which looked like a lunch special barley any food. I spent $110 on two meals definitely not worth it.
I took my daughter to this restaurant for her 8th birthday and it was horrible. We waited 20 minutes in a empty restaurant for a waiter to bring our drinks and take our order. Then she kept disappearing the whole time. The food was nasty, horrible service, I won't be coming back here again.

Great place for a date night,not too expensive,great location and awesome food.
I was disappointed that we could not eat the habachi inside. Had I known that I probably would not have gone because it was for a birthday celebration. The food was kind of cold and we had to sit outside. then I got a phone call asking if I had paid my bill and I said yes I have a copy of the check/receipt and had to confirm with them the amount. Apparently somebody did not pay their bill and they were calling to see if they could find the person. This used to be one of my favorite places but the quality and atmosphere has changed. Hopefully things will get better.

Seafood and I let the waitress know 3 times they still had my food mixed with seafood . This place has really fallen off in its service.
They brought us the food cold and they did not bring soy sauce or anything it was bland
The service suck the shrimp and chicken was cold ... the cleaning guy spilled water all over me and my friend .... they took a very long time to serve us and it was my birthday I didn’t give me a Happy birthday song or my happy bday hat
I know we're in a global pandemic and restaurants have to do outdoor seating, but this was unacceptable. The garbage was piled up outside the restaurant and it smelled horribly. We asked for other seating and the options were limited, but we waited for other available seating. We were finally seated, but that garbage smell still traveled to the other area. It just made everything else from there feel and taste gross. We had a hard time enjoying or finishing our food. I feel like the restaurant should invest in making sure the surroundings are clean to further participate in outing seating options. Some power washing and disinfectant could go a long way, also finding another way to contain garbage would be helpful.
My experience was great, i went there for my pre birthday dinner and the atmosphere was awesome, food good, the drinks 🍸 were great...i enjoyed my evening and would love to go back, i will definitely recommend the benihana to friends and family.
The customer service was horrible and the food was not great for the price . We where left for last to be rushed with the eating .
Food was extremely cold. By the time they gave us a new plate so much time went by I wasn’t even hungry. The waiter forgot our order more than once. It was horrible and to make it worst it was my bday
