So disappointed with this Benihana. We waited over 1-1/2 hours to be seated. The waiter was not attentive at all and even the chef “whom by the way was very nice” had to remind the waiter several times to assist us. Will never be back to Benihana’s. Food was mediocre for the cost.
I've been to many Benihanas over the years (including this one) and never had a bad experience until recently. There was a party for a group of kids that were extremely loud (excusable as kids will be kids) but the steak I ordered was horrible. It had a LOT of fat and I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out which bites were actually edible. It ruined my appetite and was the first time I had ever NOT finished a meal there. I mentioned it to the chef at the end of the meal, when he asked how everything was, but he either didn't hear me or understand.
The hot saki was excellent, though. lol
Guy at the front made us wait an extra hour and a half after misinforming is over the phone. It was my bday and if I had known we weren’t able to be late I would have went somewhere else. Worst bday dinner ever as everyone was starving due to be misinformed of time when we had reservations.
Although we had a reservation we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Then it took another 20 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. Obviously by that time we had already decided on food so we ordered our meals. Food was perfect but waitress put in our orders wrong or incomplete. After the hibachi chef finished our meals and we asked for checks, it took another 30 minutes for them to get the checks right. Overall the food was delicious but the service was very poor.
Service was not good dinner was at 9pm didn't sit into 930pm had to ask for spoons napkins not all eight people came however it was a special occasion (happy birthday) and I requested to have the special occasion alone as my family didn't get what I asked for I was forced to sit with people that make no type interaction with us expect it that it was my first time at Benihana
The restaurant was dirty overall and very hot - no good ventilation where we sat up against a wall. Beni Hana has lost his appeal from when i used to visit in 90s. I remember it being a more of a luxurious place. now its more of a "FAST FOOD" ambience. i will not return.
I took my boyfriend there as a birthday surprise. I made my reservation and when we got there we were seated within a few minutes. We ordered and everything seemed fine. The issue was with the food. Our cook messed up the orders and it took forever to actually eat. Our reservation was at 8:45 and we didn't start eating until about 10:30. The food was not the best quality although it didn't taste bad, it was just not what I expected. I had heard how great this restaurant was but I didn't have that experience.
The table's chef certificates should be accesible through their website. Not just an email sent on the month's birthday to avoid mistakes no one claims ownership for like the one I experienced. The email sent sas for last year's coupon. I never received this year's coupon and even though I showed the ID and the email they didn't honor it. Contacted corporate and they did nothing either. Not coming back anymore if they don't care about their customers
Wasn't quite satisfied w/ the service. Although we had reservations, we weren't allowed to be seated w/o our whole party there even w/ the fact they were soon closing. Once we were eventually seated, we were rushed to order - even told to "call our party & see what they would like to order b/c the chef only comes out once". The Chef Billy was great but the manager & wait staff were the issue. We barely saw our waiter even with the few patrons in the business. We were told the bar is closing so we had to order drinks quick & that was fine but the drinks tasted as if they were made quick as well. Not a good experience at all.
Had a reservation at 7:15pm, but had to wait aprox 30 minutes. Once seated, everything went great. Cook did the usual great show and food was excellent. The only issue was we were celebrating my birthday and I marked it when I made the reservation online,i but didn’t get a happy birthday song from staff nor group picture we usually get. Not sure if they do that anymore but I did hear another table getting a happy birthday celebration song. Was a bit upset about that, but will go again because we live the food!!
The waiter was was briefly there. He misplaced our orders and the cook was preparing what the waiter gave him. So we spent good money on food we didn’t order and had to hunt down the waiter to get refills. when I bill came was the second time I saw him. I explained the order was wrong and his response was I can adjust the difference from what you ordered and what he made you. The waiter was in outer space. I will not be back to this location .
