    Employees have no standards there anymore. Will talk about anything in front of the customers. New cooks are nice but not the same quality it used to be.

    I went here for dinner with my sister and just had a terrible experience. We got the teppan seats and were so excited since it was such a nostalgic experience for us. First, I'd like to note that our waitress was great -- she was very nice and was very apologetic. It was the chef that was the issue. He was so incredibly late to the point everyone else at our table left. We were all seated at 7:30, and he did not show up until 8:45. We tried to leave, but he showed up right as we were about to and we felt bad for him. That being said, we regretted this quickly as he made subpar food and mumbled when we tried to interact with him. It was the most awkward experience of my life. On top of that, he told us he had been held up at another table, which we know was a lie as, first off, we had been there the whole time and had not seen him, and secondly, the waitress kept saying he was on his way until she told us the manager was going to talk to him -- implying he was just in the back probably on his phone. All-in-all, it was just a terrible experience, and we will not be returning.

    The cook did not talk to us at all. And he got turned around multiple times, because the guy who took the order put the orders in the wrong direction (started seat one at the end of the table). Really not interactive at all. We have been hear multiple times before and it was much better.

    Our reservations were for 7:30 pm and in classic Benihana fashion we weren't seated until 8:10 for what reason I don't know. The food was overpriced my wife ordered a sushi roll and it came out while the main course was being prepared and when we get our check to pay we have to give our cards to the waitress while she guilts you into tipping more than you can talking bout I share with the chef and she takes your card and enters your tip amount behind your back then comes over for you to enter your pin. This is a terrible location the food was terrible at best the chef was great but he was tired from just cooking at a table less than 5 minutes after another table. The host is walking around with shirt untucked and the security instead of being vigilante is being complacent and watching YouTube on his phone

    Memphis Benihana location has went very poorly. I took my son there on yesterday for his birthday. I reserve a table for 4:30 p.m., were seated with no problem. The plates that was given to us where dirty so as the silverware. The had to get us some more plates ans silverware. After we where seated we waited 45min for chef to cook for us. There where problem in the bar area that was extremely loud disturbing the dinner of the other guest. The food was not good at all, which it's been a while since i've had dinner there, but I don't recall the food being a issue or I wouldn't have take my son there. That's was the worst 170.32 I have ever spent. In the future I will only visit the out of town location.

    Server was rude and had a nasty attitude.made reservations told that they called to ask us to come earlier , if I made reservations for that time I wanna stick with my original time , a bug was was crawling on my plate into my food while our cook was cooking.

    This was a nightmare. Took our grandchildren, remembering what it was like 20 years ago. Not even in the same zip code. The cooks and servers were horrible and the place was dirty. Basically, an untrained person tossed the food around and put it on our plates. Run away if considering

    Worst experience EVER Food was burned & had no flavor the chef refused to put any garlic butter on our food he said it was burning the food but it was burning anyway without the garlic butter don’t remember his name but he had long dreads & had a unpleasant attitude & never even spoke when he came to the table to cook & also tried to do a trick by throw some fat off of a steak in his pocket & kept missing his pocket & it hit his dreads several time & feel back onto the table we told him that was just too much & it was touching his hair & falling back onto the table & he said his hair didn’t have any grease on it & continued to try that’s when we had enough..

    Hair on the egg that was in the hibachi, no sauce or seasoning on food, chef did not put on any show, shrimp still had pieces of tail on them and extremely overcooked, had to ask every time for more water, no sauces given bc chef didn’t have ladle to poor them. Unsanitary, overpriced. Hard to watch other tables get an adequate chef with an experience and ours was extremely lacking.
