Waited almost 15 min after our reservation check for a table. Was sat and server greeted us and said she would be with us shortly. Another 15 min went by and she came back and got our drink orders and food orders as well. Waiter brought waters, soups and salads a little shortly after and our chef finally came out as well.

We ordered a sushi roll without avocado because I’m allergic and asked the sever again if there is avocado in here and she told me no. Luckily the group ate it before I did And told me not to eat it.

I finally was able to get a hold of our server and told her that if they could just get us a new one or just take it off the bill. She apologized and said she was going to have a new one remade.

We then also let our server know that we still haven’t received our bar drinks, she must have forgot which was fine but then still after bringing my drink, I told her we were still missing the other drinks at the table.

The hibachi chef was entertaining and the food was ok. However, through all of this, not one time did the manager come by and acknowledge anything.

When we walked out the restaurant, she was just sitting down and just said have a good night.

I dont put any fault in the server, but the manager should have either checked on the server to see if they were okay or even do a walk around to see if tables were okay.

We still left more than 20% on our bill but after this second not so great experience at this location, I think we would probably end up doing the drive to another location with better service from the restaurant.

Even with a reservation, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. They seemed a bit under staffed the night we were there. Even with all of that, we still had a pretty nice experience.

Waited 50 minutes just to get soup... Than my husband was served cold soup. Another 20 for a cook ....and after all said and done took 30 minutes just to get our checks back to sign

This was by far the best experience I have ever had. I have been wanting to go to a restaurant like this for a very long time. I did not leave hungry and I was still wanting more 2 days later. It was super flavorful. If we could afford it, I would go here on a regular basis.

We had our work holiday outing a little late but it was worth it. No one told us there was a special holiday menu for Valentine’s Day. So we had sticker shock when we sat down for lunch and only had dinner price options! Our server, Paris, quickly fixed the situation and said we could order from the regular lunch menu. Paris was a great server, friendly and attentive. And our cook was great too!

Both my husband and I ordered steaks and the server asked my husband how his steak should be cooked, but did not ask me. Our food was cool to lukewarm when it arrived at the table, so both of our meals had to be sent back.

The food was good but expensive. Some of the hibachi meals are almost $50. The waiter was hustling around and always ready to refill drinks and was friendly. The place needs a real good cleaning. Bar tops dirty and menu’s sticky.

The habachi is always entertaining and fun. Great for birthdays and groups. The food was flavorful but very greasy that you may get gut rot. Service was good. Great lunch prices!

I made the mistake of thinking I could use my birthday certificate on a Friday night. While I was waiting to be seating I asked the host, "Do I need to print out my birthday certificate or can I show the waitress my confirmation number?" The host responded, "You can show them your confirmation number." When I got the bill there was an extra $40 tagged onto it because of the birthday meal. I asked to speak to the manager and that's when I realized it was only good for Monday-Thursday. I let the manager know what the host told me, but she said I still have to pay for it. I guess it sucked because it was my birthday and your employee told me I would be okay with my confirmation code and in front of my family you told me I still had to pay. I just wonder, why you wouldn't stand by your employee's word and have some grace for me especially on my birthday? It's not like I am going to get my $40 back, and an apology won't mean anything because you'd just be following protocol. A loss is a loss and I'll take it. Thanks for the birthday wisdom.

I am happy with our dinner. We did go on a Wednesday night and I figured it wouldnt be packed but instead of spreading people between the sections they had 1 section full with every table being used. So it was a little crowded for a weekday. the fire scared my kid but that's not thier fault. We always have a good time there and the food is delicious!!

My friends and I come here often but our server was not good on this go round. He was very slow and forgot my friends shrimp. She had to wait until he finished the steak and notified a server.

Our chef was great and rhe food was cooked joust right but the service was lacking. Definitely not the best waiter. He was extremely slow and took forever to get our meal checks to us.

The service was above and beyond. We were given free sushi because of one small mishap, which meant a lot The food tasted great and our chef took the time to ensure it was all amazing! Overall, a great experience.

Extremely disappointed. Hostess at the door very rude when calling your name! Also chef had difficulty's catching the spatula. Chef did not talk or laugh Durning performance. I felt like I saw at a bad move.

Took 45 minutes before chef came to table. Waiter was not very attentive/ friendly either. Shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes after reservation time to start cooking. Ruined the experience that day.

I have been going there for over 15 years to the one in St. Louis Park and this one several times in America it was by far the best service for the hibachi cook. He was so fun and friendly.

I've been going to benihana for many many years. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Our reservations were for 6pm. At 625 my husband went to see if we were getting seated. They forgot about us so we didn't get seated until 625. Waited 20 minutes for a server to show up to just get our drinks. Service was horrible. He dropped our drinks when they finally got to the table, then served our soup and salad together. Never came back to see if we needed anything. Waited another 10 minutes for our new drinks and instead of taking our order left again and we had to wait another 20 minutes to get our order taken. After we finally got to eat and were finished it took him another 15 to 20 minutes to bring our tab. Spent 2 1/2 hours with most of that time waiting. Just wanted to take my husband out for a nice dinner and it turned out to be a disaster. I make most of this food at home but wanted to go out. Will not go to here again. Again this was supposed to be a nice relaxing fun dinner and turned out horrible!!!

I have been to the MOA location a few times and its just been ok each time. In the past the service was mediocre at best, the hibachi chef was ok and the food was just so so...

My experience on Tuesday 1/21 was fantastic. We had Sammy as our hibachi chef this time and he was GREAT!!! He was very interactive with everyone at the table and prepared the food perfectly as ordered.

Thank you for a very nice evening. I brought my niece there for her birthday celebration and enjoyed ourselves very much. Our dinner choice was exactly what we wanted and was prepared just right. We'll be back for future dinners at the MOA Benihana. Thanks again.

Our family has enjoyed many dinners at Benihana. This time we encountered a cook that was lacking in the performance style that is known at Benihana. The portions of onions and zucchini appetizer we mixed so we did not receive the correct portions per person. He did not serve our appetizer shrimp until after our main food was served. Our biggest issue was this chef was there only to collect his paycheck and do the basic minimum...he needs to be a back of house cook, not a performance cook. Will come back as we like the food and management did make it right. But now we know we can request to not be seated with this cook again.
