Waiter was not transparent about price change for meat substitute. He made it seem like it was going to be complementary but ended up being $9 more!

Our waiter went missing for the majority of the meal. We were without refills and two of our party members didn’t get their steamed rice until we’ll AFTER all the meat was finished cooking. Very disappointed in Benihana Las Colinas. I went to the one on Banner and had a much BETTER experience. The waitresses were very attentive. Wait staff at Las Colinas need better training.

Despite having a reservation, we got seated late, waited about 20 min before being seated. After we got to our table, we waited 40 min before food began cooking at our table. At that point, we didn’t care for entertainment, we just wanted our food.

I was very disappointed this visit. Sushi was mediocre. Soup barely lukewarm. Salad had too much dressing. Steak was perfect. Chicken and shrimp cooked too long...making them dry. Chocolate ice cream was highlight of meal. Thankfully our cook was outgoing. Our server was attentive when it came to drink refills, but did not get another diner's rice request correct.

The staff was very nice and professional. The chef Lu was especially good. The restaurant was clean and upscale. My seafood was delicious and a great value. I love their dipping sauces. Hibachi restaurants are not always the greatest place to eat sushi. Benihana's sashimi sampler was excellent. We loved it and will definitely go back.

Good food. Enjoyed seeing the high-quality ingredients prepared in front of us. Service was disappointing: used dishes piled up in the somewhat tight space and rice was not brought until the end of the meal (after we asked about it).

This was our first time to dine at Benihana’s. Of all the hibachi style restaurants this was by far the best. The food was great, cooked perfect, and really like how Manny seasoned all our food. Manny did a great job. I believe he said he’d cooked there 14yrs.; that’s impressive and his showmanship, humor and speed was so fun to experience. The additional staff did a great job as well. I was expecting it the be expensive with drinks, but I wish the cost was slightly less so we would go more often.

We were able to make a reservation online which greatly helped to ensure our business lunch would stay on time. Our table was ready and we were seated on time. The food is fantastic and the cooks do a fantastic job of entertaining while they cook. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Tasty Japanese food in a fun, lively environment. Our teppanyaki chef was incredibly skilled and entertaining and our server was warm, friendly and helpful. Sharing the table with another family allowed us to get to know wonderful new friends, making our experience all the more memorable.

Our chef was too busy flirting with one of the guests. Then he only spoke in spanish to her and her child. Its like he forgot there were other guests in his area. I’ve had better experiences at this location. He also didn’t fully cook everything because he was distracted.

Upon arrival, the 2 ladies at the front were pretty sarcastic about the number of people we had. We marked 3 people and because I had my infant, who didn’t sit at the table. They pretty much said since w takes up physical space we should have counted him in the most rude way possible. ( this probably wouldn’t be a complaint if he actually sat at the table or impacted the amount of people who sat there, there were still a total of 6 people at the table and they sat a chair away from the table for my son....... so if he didn’t take up space at the table why did they feel a need to complain about his presence??) The waiter constantly forgot our drinks and they had my son and I sitting on a corner with very little space. My son and myself was unable to even sit at the table comfortably......... and manny over cooked my 45 dollar steak.....

Chef was awesome; Service was great! I truly enjoyed lunch at Benihana; They don't have a gluten free menu but you can still eat there if you have gluten restrictions. Best thing was the chef attitude. Superb!

The food was great!
Only had two issues I put in a reservation for a specific and still had to wait. Our cook seemed to be fairly new which was not to bad because he was actually entertaining.
The worst part of the night was an accident but it still happen and my wife is still bothered by it. In the process of the cook flipping a chicken breast the hot oil slashed in my wife’s face, burning her under her eye. Developed a scrap the next day. Although it was not a huge burn it cause much discomfort for a 24hr period. We did not make a complaint because we didn’t want the chef to get in trouble for an accident.
I will be back even though there was an unfortunate incident. Hopefully our next visit will be more enjoyable.

The food was ok, not worth the value. Maybe it was the location but it felt transient and a bit sad. The restrooms were gross. The chefs could have cared less but it only made sense because no one around the table showed any appreciation for their work; not just at our table but ALL tables. It might have well been located inside an airport because that’s how classy it was. Definitely not living up to a brand standard.

You don't get disappointed going to a Benihana, but you're not super impressed either. If you've never been, here's the basics: the chef puts on an entertaining show and cooks some solid hibachi. Service this time was poor (took forever on first attention, ordering, drinks, and the check), but the chef was good, and the food a solid B+.

Well food was great as usual

Chef was great, customized peoples orders.

Not sure if new manager or service has been changed???

Normal crowd

Because not only our table but others, they brought out the soup and salad at the same time???

Two people had birthdays at the table,,
a. Did not ask if they wanted the desert and song.
b. One person asked for the song, which triggered the server to ask if ice cream was wanted.
c. Did not bother to ask any other customers if they wanted desert??

Pushing to get check paid, it was still early, not closing time.

It appeared to be under staffed. Wait time to be seated wasn’t bad but we sat for almost 40 minutes before the chef came to the table and the chef didn’t understand many of our requests and prepared the food slowly.

This is one of my daughter's favorite places and I took her and her husband (his first time) for their wedding anniversary. We were very disappointed our reservation was at 8pm and were not seated til after 930. After being seated and ordering drinks the table next to use sat down and received drinks while we continued to get our drinks. After asking where our drinks were the table next to us placed orders and a chef began to cook while we continued to wait. It is now after 10pm and we get a chef. We did not receive the great service we have received in the past.
On a good note the Manager did acknowledge the problem and gave everyone at the table a discount which was nice.

Went there for a birthday celebration. We waited 25 plus minutes for a simple sake and mix drink. The waiter kept coming to rush to take our order but didn’t bring our drinks nor did she say anything as to why they where late.
