    The waitress was very attentive. She brought out the soup and salad quickly after we ordered and kept our drinks filled as needed without lapse. The two of us in our party both had the filet and upgraded to chicken fried rice. The hibachi chef cooked the meal well and it was flavorful. We typically have a better experience at the Farmington Hills restaurant over the one in Dearborn.

    A table of 7 waited over an hour for a chef and manager did not seem very concerned about when it was brought to his attention. All he did was provide a small discount to the bill with no apology at all.

    Food was subpar. The service was not very good. I had to ask numerous times for my own silverware and for them to remove dirty dishes in front of me, waitress even looked at numerous times to walk by.

    Enjoyed my experience at Benihana! Loved the shrimp show at the end of my meal, my brothers enjoyed trying to get the tails into chef wills hat. Chef Will hands down makes the best fried rice. Also enjoyed my service that night

    This is my favorite restaurant. Great food! This is not a quick in and out, you are there to enjoy the company, food and service.

    Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price I had high expectations given the price point, but unfortunately, this place fell far short. The atmosphere lacked the upscale feel you'd expect—everything felt greasy to the touch and noticeably outdated. Despite having an 8:15 PM reservation, service was incredibly slow. We waited far too long to be acknowledged, and the overall pace of the meal dragged on. I will say MAD PROPS EDETH the cook. She did an amazing job compared to the last visit. (I will not return until they can bring this place up to the standards Benihana’s used to be.)

    The chef was inexperienced and my party had to get a new chef. First chef food was cooked terribly and was burnt then the new chef was rushed so nothing was really his fault. I felt bad for the following chef. I have been to Benihana about 50 times or more and this was the worst experience. It definitely will be awhile before I go back.
