   Cram packed - lots of people waiting to get in for a mediocre dinner. The prices have gone up, the portions have gone down, and the place is a mess. I get that it is tough to keep clean with the turnover of tables at this crazy successful location, but come on, for the price of the place, more staff and cleaning would help. The hostesses did a amazing job of managing the hordes of people waiting - if you want a quiet nice entertaining meal, dont go on the weekend, perhaps a nice mid week lunch would be better. The (brand new) chef was OK with the presentation, but did not allocate the food properly - so those of us paying more for more food did NOT get it. Same with the upcharging chicken friend rice - you may pay for it, but everyone at the table gets it. Salty? Yes. Entertaining? Yes. A good value for your $ - no, but you dont go there for that. Just a bit sad to see how the quality has really dropped over the years.

   We go to Benihana because our 5 yr old granddaughter really enjoys the performances of the chefs. Yesterday we, unfortunately, had Chef Tidian!! HE DID ONLY ONE TRICK for our granddaughter!!! She was VERY upset and disappointed. Because of this, we became upset and asked Tidian why he did not do any additional performances for the table, as a whole. He did not answer in any substantive way. He also did not turn the fan on, and because of that tons of smoke blew into the faces, eyes, hair or f my spouse and granddaughter. We told him to turn the fan on. He reached to the for the table behind him and turned that fan on, but continued create a smoky atmosphere for my family. We called for a manager. The manager arrived and we informed him. He questioned Tidian about lack of proper Benihana Chef procedures. He still did not have any substantive responses. The manager was kind enough to lower our meal bill. All in all our visit was made to be TERRIBLE! I’m sure we’re not returning. Avoid TIDIAN if you choose to patronize this location.

   Our server never cleared our soup or salad bowls, she never checked in to see if we wanted another cocktail. I had to flag her down after my water was empty for almost our whole meal. When your bill Is almost $70 for one person, this is disappointing. Will not be going back.

   It was very hot in the back left dining room. There was no air on and all 4 tables were in use. My waitress was not attentive and never came to the table after giving us our soups and salads. She never came to remove the soup & salad bowls our entire visit. We had to ask for refills on our beverages and our plates were never removed. Horrible service.

   I've never had a complaint about Benihana, but this particular day was horrible. From the burnt rice and not having my order correct. I will no longer visit this location. The manager was no help.

   We got the lunch menu I reserved because getting the price for lunch but when I got there they said no it’s a holiday we only have dinner menu prices when they never told me that when I booked that wasn’t right at all and won’t be going in anytime soon because of that they couldn’t even honor any discount they said sorry it’s not the lunch prices that wasn’t right at all !!
