Our chef was good, worked hard and was funny, but some of the food like the rice and onions had some burned pieces. I ordered my hibachi steak medium rare and it was medium well when I got it. Overall it was a fun experience, but I’ve been to other Benihana locations and food wise was a bit disappointing. The sangria was good though. Oh and I don’t like valet parking my car, much less paying for parking in general. Luckily, I found street parking

I love Benihana! Cooking on the large flat top surface makes for a delicious meal! Had the filet mignon and mom had the hibachi chicken! So much for leftovers that we had lunch the next day!

I had the most abysmal experience at Benihana that I feel compelled to share this scathing review. My party had a reservation for 7:30 PM, but we weren't seated until a staggering 7:50 PM. What's worse, our waitress didn't even bother to bring us water until a mind-boggling 8:30 PM, leaving us parched and frustrated. In that seemingly endless time frame, another party was seated, served drinks, and placed their food orders without a hitch. It was nothing short of absurd. But the absurdity didn't end there. Our waitress proceeded to commit a series of culinary faux pas that would make any seasoned chef cringe. She carelessly placed a stack of menus on the hot grill not once, not twice, but three times, causing plastic to melt all over it. Not one, not two, but three different people had to come by and scrape off the remnants of her mistake. It was a spectacle of unprofessionalism that I couldn't believe was happening at a restaurant of Benihana's reputation. Adding to the circus-like atmosphere, a woman seated at our table was egregiously over-served alcohol. She began yelling, and to our astonishment, took off her shoes and started picking at her foot right there at the table, even going as far as requesting a band-aid. It was an uncomfortable and unsanitary spectacle that marred our entire dining experience. As if all of this wasn't enough, the chef's performance left much to be desired. The food, a far cry from the standards one would expect from Benihana, was shockingly under-seasoned. A drink that was supposed to come with blueberries arrived without a single blueberry in sight. My husband ordered a beer and asked for a glass, a request that took a baffling 25 minutes to fulfill. Ice cream, promised to us, never made it to our table. Our waitress seemingly checked on us zero times during the meal, leaving us feeling utterly neglected. To top it all off, when it came time to pay, I was told that I couldn't use a gift certificate. This was the final straw

This specific location is just not as good as it used to be. It’s extremely run down, chefs are no longer as entertaining… barely make any “tricks” and the food is not as good as it used to be either. I’d save my money and go somewhere else.

Our server Blanca was the best! She was so friendly, attentive, and patient. She didn’t mind the craziness that can come with serving a family with small children. Also, our chef Osvaldo was great. The food was delicious and he was attentive to how we wanted our food prepped and was just so awesome and respectful. Definitely our favorite location and a wonderful experience yet again! Highly recommend!

No flavor in the food at all. The chef seemed new. He couldn’t even crack an egg and got shells in the fried rice. He used very little butter or seasoning. I had to take my food home to season it. Very disappointed. I was there a few months ago and it was fabulous!

Called several times to book a reservation but No one never answers the phone at this establishment. We booked thru Open table and went there at 8pm last nite to celebrate my late birthday with family had 2 Alcoholic drinks and ordered food for 5 in my party .The Chef wasn't that good he dropped some shrimp and left and came back while the food was burning then he dropped his spatchla on the floor and he served us adults first before the kids he was a real idiot .We didn't enjoy this time there .

I reserve a table for my family because it was our wedding anniversary. I request a table for my family & I a party of 6 when I did reservation on open table it didn’t say anything about not being able to accommodate us to seat with my family. Upon arrival the host was really rude. She told us we were not able to seat alone as soon as we check in. The host told me that it need it to be a party of 8 to be seated by ourselves that we need to seat with strangers. I really want it to enjoy this special moment & build a memory with my family not with other strangers. Since my request was denied/ NOT completed, we decided to leave so our Anniversary was ruined. I hope Benihana work to train there staff to treat customers better.

The service is always great. The waiters are always attentive and don’t rush you to finish food. I requested kids friendly seating since we have two toddlers. They accommodated us in the small section of the room where they have smaller tables. It was nice since we didn’t need to worry too much. The ambience is great but very loud. The place is always packed. If you don’t make a reservation, you end up waiting for 1 hour. I highly recommend making a reservation for any occasions 😊

Went for my Birthday as we do every year. Had a Really Good Chef, I believe her name was Christine! You must give her praise for her interactions with the guests. Good Performance, short, not elaborate, but Customized everyone's meal appropriately. Was seated at the Table to the Left in the very back of the location near an exit door, had employee's going in and out all the time, in addition, the air-conditioning was cycling off and on the whole time causing my Sister to take her jacket on and off the whole time. Once again, I am noting, they no longer have the Plum Liquor I always used to order or the Japanese Beer my Sister would always get, no reason was given when asked. Wait staff was very good and attentive to our needs and making sure we were taken care of. Wish they would impose some sort of Dress Code!! As I walked around, I was appalled by the appearance of some of the customers in the Restaurant. Negatives this time - I do not know if you have changed, were short shrimp, or the chef screwed up, but the shrimp appetizer was not made until our Main Course was made and we only got 3 small shrimp each for the appetizer, much less then in the past, in addition, the Mushrooms for my Steak, usually are big and have large slices, this time they were small and after she chopped them up, they were minced pieces, not very enjoyable.

I am very pleased with the service. We did have a bad experience with another customer that was not familiar with the way the restaurant works. However the staff accommodated us with a different seating and the manager explained to the other clients how this works. The restaurant is older and does need some TLC, but the staff was very professional and the chef was entertaining.

It was my first time going to Benihana. I was very unimpressed. Even though I made a reservation, I still had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be seated, making my elderly parents have to stand because the waiting room was so crowded. The food is pricey and underwhelming as were the cocktails. Definitely not worth the price. With it being my first time, when I was asked if I wanted white rice or fried rice I wasn’t aware that if I said fried rice that would cost me an additional $20. I didn’t appreciate the sneaky upsell. The staff was pleasant, and it is fun to watch the chefs cook. Be prepared to have the smoke drift into your face and having your clothes smell like onions when you leave. Overall, we had a good family experience, but I don’t think I will be returning.

The cook did not serve the appetizer shrimp to the very end of the mail which was very disappointing also they do not clean around the grill on the carpet or the floor where people have to sit and it's filthy with food and rice everywhere really needs to overhaul at that location

the food and the chef wasn’t the best experience the smoke from the food keep going into our faces really bad and the chef and his cooking felt really rushed , the food overall was alright the rice was just really hard and dry and overall everything felt rushed . the service was good we were attended for well
