Benihana - Denver Ratings and Reviews
The experience is very unique if you have never been here before. The food is very tasty and excellent. They do serve you a lot of food though. I could make a meal of the soup, salad and fried rice that is included in your meal. All of that and some other things before the main entree. Overall this is a very great place for birthdays and special occasions.
We had a terrible experience. We went there for my wife’s birthday with a group of friends. We were knowingly sat with 2 couples that often cause issues at the restaurant. Sure enough, the couples ended up fighting with each other. Many very hurtful things were yelled across the table and it ruined our night. The manager said sorry and gave us a $25 gift card. The two couple who almost physically fought in the space, received comped meals that night and gift cards to come back. It ruined my wife’s birthday and they didn’t care.
I will never recommend this establishment.
Our dinner was FABULOUS with chef Justin! He along with our server MADE our whole experience GREAT! Fun energetic, engaged with my 7yr old & funny! All of us had a good time & their energy was just superb!! Will definitely be back & make our birthday celebration at Benihana’s a tradition for our kids!
Benihana never disappoints. I've been to at least 3 of their locations (Tamarac, Superior and Las Vegas) and everything is fresh and delicious. The chefs are fun and funny with their tricks and jokes and the kids love to watch them flip shrimp tails into their hats.
On this visit, my mother requested that her steak be done medium-well to well done (she's picky about her beef). The chef cooked everything to perfection and she devoured every bite.
We will be back VERY SOON!!
Always a fun night, delicious food but I can’t give five stars because we usually end up waiting 15-30 minutes after our reservation-
This time we were seated quickly but did not have a chef for over 30 minutes- wait staff was great and apologetic but the timely presentation of food is important
Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, got sat with a whining kid and a group that was allergic to sea food, which ofeatures coarse was hAlf our meal, gother our appitizer dead last . Absolute disappointment, chef was a kid and kept dropping his spatula! The table next to us had a great time with an experienced chef who entertained them and was neat and clean, hard to enjoy when the next table is having a completely different experience. Won't go back.
My honest review. We went to Benihanas for my sons birthday. I have been to Benihana’s many times. My children and parents have never been there before. I was super excited to take them. Then our cook showed up. He had zero energy. He was so disappointing as a Benihana’s hibachi chef. My family was disappointed. My mother commented several times that it seemed he didn’t want to be there. She never wants to go back. Thanks to him for ruining my sons lunch.
A great time! Our chef was funny and entertaining and was a very good chef. He interacted with everyone at the table. The food was delicious and the portions large. We have been going to Benihana's for 27 years to celebrate birthdays and never been disappointed.
had heard of this restaurant before and wanted to take my daughter to a special place for her birthday. it's pricey but it is worth it with the quality of food and entertainment. This place completely lacked the entertainment part of the experience. The grand finale was the onion volcano.
would have liked to seen more interaction with the people from the chef as well as more theatrics. spent 52 dollars for 2 people and one was a 12 year old.
We have been going to Benihanas for 10 years and we were really disappointed this time. We waited over an hour to get our dinner. Also, the fried rice it’s an upgrade now and our soup was barely anything in the bowl. I guess is under new ownership so they are trying to charge more. Definitely, a huge disappointment all around.
The Chef was the only thing great about it.
We were visiting the area and didn’t have plans for Christmas dinner so when I found out Benihana’s was open, I made reservations. We are so glad we did...we really enjoyed the food and the service was great. We will definitely dine at Benihana’s again in the near future!
