Had to ask for water refills. Had to ask for dipping sauces when meal was almost finished. Two chairs were under hot air fan. Soup was lukewarm. Bartender couldn’t make a vodka martini. Overall, not good value for price. Used to be much better several years ago.

Their food is always AMAZINGLY delicious. Excellent service. I was kinda surprised to see so many employees just sitting around talking. Women’s bathroom needed someone cleaning it up.

I will say that the server was absolutely amazing. Great personality very helpful. Funny very good experience. The chef was good didn’t talk to much but the food was great and he communicated I believe as good as he possibly good thank you.

Nice place to eat and enjoy family and friends must have the patience to wait for a chief especially on the weekends when they are busy. Took the staff almost an hour to seat us after making reservations over two weeks ago. Then had to wait almost another hour for a chief and then still no drinks until after I said something to another staff member. Once drinks were at table I noticed something floating in my drink which at this point I was very frustrated and upset. I asked for a manager and was told a manager would be at the table shortly to speak with me. After 2 hours still no manager. After paying more than 300.00 for the food I should have received some type of compensation for the wait and drink incident. Can’t believe no manager showed up to talk to me. I will never return to this location.

Wasn’t very good ordered steak and it was overcooked and the prices are definitely higher than ichaban and it isn’t any better, plus was surprised the fried rice with my meal was over $7 extra

Normally there’s a problem whenever I go to this specific Benihana. However, today everything was EXCELLENT! Our chef was wonderful and fun the food was EVERYTHING I wanted/needed it to be. And surprisingly it wasn’t packed.

The chef that we had last night was obviously new. He overcooked the food, was not engaging or personable, and did not put on much of a show. When asked for the dipping sauces, he stated that our server would provide, which she did at the tail end of our meal (1 sauce in a small to-go cup). For the price, one goes to a place like Benihana for the ambience and the show that the cooks put on while preparing your meal. This was absent last night and made for an abysmal experience. Would not recommend and will not return to this location.

Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive to the tables needs. The soup and salad came out pretty quick, and then the chef started cooking. He paid attention to detail and seasoned everything perfect. He has been one of the better cooks that we have had there. Overall, we had a nice night enjoying my husband’s birthday.

The wait to get seated and people coming in after got seated before us. Service was very slow had to get up and ask for refills waited awhile before we even got something to drink. The chef wasn’t very engaging at all. The other people at the table had to ask several times for mushrooms and onions never seen anybody make each one separately all the till the end when all the food was done. The restaurant wasn’t even clean.

The waitress was new so we had to repeat the same thing several times. it took forever to start cooking our food so he just threw everything on the grill at the same time

Had 8pm reservations took until 9 to be seated, took another 30 minutes to get water and another 30 to get food. Poor time management, poor communication, still great food, just customer service is falling off bad. Food isn’t worth the overall experience.

Our server didn’t have napkins and silverware for us, offered us plastic ware. No thank you…The chef show was ok. I think the drink sizes have gotten smaller and more expensive The birthday singing was good. Overall, it was a too expensive nights and probably won’t be celebrating birthdays there again.

We had a reservation for 5pm. So we arrived about 10 minutes early. We checked in, and were told we would be seated by 5:15pm. We were seated around 5:15p and our cook was excellent. However, our server was not on her A game, although she was very nice. Also, the restaurant was darker than I remembered. We will be going back. I’m sure our server will have better days.

The fact that I ate at the table and wanted a carry out and it was almost $15 more is ridiculous. I should have been able to order a takeout and it be the menu price if I’m already dining in. .. To have me go to the take out window instead of just adding an additional order to my bill is an inconvenience

Appetizers came after the meal was being served and the teriyaki wings were so cold that they took them out of the refrigerator and put them on a plate. Once they were replaced, it seemed as though they just reheated the same wings instead of replacing the order. No accommodations were made for serving appetizers AFTER serving the meal. Our cook was great and what he served was very good. Our server was apologetic - we understand the lack of staffing; however, if the appetizers were going to take more than an hour to prepare - someone should have asked if we still wanted them that late! Spending over $300 for a meal that really was not worth it- very sad!

I had very bad experience I booked me and My Wife I have a reservation online when I get there I waited half hour until I got my table we sit at the table about two hours my first time there I never go again. The food wasn’t good. The waitress wasn’t good. The chef wasn’t good too much spending time for litter meal. I don’t recommend it to anybody. They ruined my Friday. Night

Haven’t eaten here in a few years but man, this place has taken a nose dive. Our server was very nice but everything was bad from forgetting drinks, sauces, sushi coming out at different times, the cook wasn’t very sociable and it was apparent he didn’t want to be there. We actually had to warn him up to us and then he was bumbling around like he didn’t know what he was doing. We had sushi sitting in front of us and I had to ask for soy sauce and then he gave us 1…for a table of 10??? The vegetables were burnt and the food was bland. We spent over $400 and will never be back.

Told the chef I was a vegetarian. He continued to use the same utensils as were on the meat. Then he put shrimp on my plate and when I said I cannot have that he tried to take the shrimp off my plate with his spatula. I ended up not eating. Very disappointing. Also, was asked if we were celebrating anything and was asked that on the open table reservation. It. Was my 12 yo bday and nothing was sad or done for him.

Can’t remember our chef name or waitress but both were amazing. The chef was fast and really good. Even though our waitress got busy she still made it effort to come to our grill. Didn’t have that last time I was there . I was going to stop going to the Dearborn location because of service but I’m glad I didn’t EVERYTHING was great
