The cook we had our table was hilarious. His sense of humor was unmatched. I had a table for four ended up with a table of six with two other people that ended up being very nice and cool so overall we had a great time.

The food was good and chef was great. We had a large party of 10 so of course we expected gratuity/service charges to be added. What we didn't expect was a sob story from our server, Evie, about how she doesn't get any of that 18% and if we gave her an additional tip by credit card she would have to split. Evie went so far as to offer up that we could CashApp her. We found it extremely rude, pushy not to mention hard to believe. Again there were 10 of us with an average bill $90 to $100 each. That's like a $180 tip (that we had no problem with) but apparently that wasn't good enough for Evie. I have never experienced this at Benihana or any where else I've ever dined.

The service was terrible. Had to ask for napkins. My water was taken away for a refill and it took 25 mins to get another one. The patrons were all coughing throughout the meal due to improper ventilation. Worst experience I’ve had so far there and I go monthly.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I visited Benihana yesterday at 2:30 PM and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. We weren’t seated until 45 minutes later, and the greeting at the door was cold and unwelcoming. No “hello” or friendly acknowledgment—just a flat “What’s your name? What’s your order under?” from a staff member who appeared disengaged. Once we were seated, our server was a bright spot—very friendly and energetic, and I appreciated her effort. However, even with her positive attitude, service was lacking. We didn’t receive napkins until halfway through the meal, and only after asking for them—and then still had to wait because she had to go find them. The chef also had to leave the table during the performance to look for sauce cups, which were missing, and returned with to-go containers instead. That definitely disrupted the usual flow and feel of the hibachi experience. On top of that, the order in which the food was prepared felt odd and out of sync with the typical Benihana rhythm I’ve experienced in the past. Overall, it just didn’t feel like the high-quality, coordinated experience I expected. I appreciate the effort from our server, but unfortunately, I likely won’t be returning to this location.

I had to sit in bar area for the sushi special. My food was not great like it is when you sit at the hibachi grill.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and top-tier hospitality. This wasn't just dinner — it was a full-blown experience. **First Impressions Matter — And the Hostess Delivered!** Right at the door, we were greeted by the most gracious hostess. She welcomed us with a genuine smile that instantly set the tone for the evening. She was organized, attentive, and made sure we were seated quickly and comfortably despite the dinner rush. It’s rare to see someone juggle a packed house with such poise and friendliness — major props! **The Manager Was a Class Act** Midway through our meal, the manager came over to check in — and let me tell you, that personal touch made all the difference. She was professional, courteous, and clearly runs a tight ship. You could tell the staff respected her and that she genuinely cared about the guests' experiences. She even assisted with a take out order my son attempted to place for his mother. Leadership like that is hard to come by. **Our Server Was Next-Level** Now let’s talk about our server Brittney — absolutely phenomenal. She were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly attentive without being intrusive. Our drinks were never empty, our needs were anticipated before we even had to ask, and her friendly, upbeat energy added so much to the night. It felt like she genuinely enjoyed her job — and that joy was contagious! As I celebrated a late birthday **And the Food… WOW.** Of course, we can’t forget the reason we came — the **hibachi show and the FOOD**. Chef Eli brought fresh and favorable food. It wss cooked to perfection right in front of us. Eli was not only skilled, but hilarious too — we were entertained *and* well-fed. The fried rice? Next level. The filet mignon? Melt-in-your-mouth good. And don’t even get me started on the lemonade

Surprise….. a fight broke out and it was our server! So we were left with no service mid first course. Our griller came out with the food even before we got our salads. Our drinks went unfilled for most of the dinner. Food wasn’t great this time around. Didn’t have to pay for entertainment though!

Price has definitely gone up, and unfortunately the food portions went down a little. The steaks seem thinner then they used to be. Taste is still incredible though.
