Our server, Fifi, was amazing and attentive! Our chef did not have the flair or energy I've come to expect when visiting Benihana. The chef at the table across from us was lively, playful, personable, doing tricks the entire cooking experience, throwing food into his own had and pockets, and throwing food into the mouths of the diners. It was fun to watch, but really wish he was our chef :(

Coming here is more for the experience of having someone cook in-front of you, the food is average not something I would come back for but the ambience was good. They have poor quality Espresso Martinis so I do not recommend those.

We have never had an experience quite like the one experienced this past Saturday evening. I booked this reservation in advance, notating on the reservation that we would have 10 guests with two strollers. I then called the restaurant to ensure that it wouldn’t be a problem to have two strollers (7 month old and 7 week old with us who would not be eating or sitting near the table) which I was ensured wasn’t an issue. When we arrived, the hostess was very rude to us about bringing children and insisted that the reservation be modified to 12, requiring a larger table and a 30 minute wait. We booked this reservation around meal time for two toddlers and bedtime for the four young kids and an additional 30 minute wait was difficult. The manager came over and never once apologized but said this was restaurant policy. Once seated, we noticed the table was set for 12. We asked for two plates to be removed and the manager insisted since we had 12, we would be charged for 12. Service throughout the night was less than poor. There manager at one point stood next to our table glaring at us for no reason before finally walking away. Our chef added no theatrics (no onion volcano, no jokes, and didn’t involve us at all). He went almost the entire time without speaking to us. The reason we brought the two four years olds was to create memories with them and it resulted in both of them crying because they didn’t see the fire. Our food was over cooked and burnt and the vents were not turned out so our entire space was smoked out. Overall, very disappointing experience, to say the least.

This was the most fun interactive dining experience my family and I have had. Our chef had us laughing from start to finish. $400 for 8 ppl, but it was good.

This was the worst time we've had there. We had to ask for our steamed rice, the chef wasn't friendly at all, very low energy, it was a birthday, we had to ask for the ice cream even when it actually came with the meal plus has always been given for birthday. Every time we've been there for a birthday, they've sang Happy Birthday & given ice cream with a lit candle and then taken a group photo. Nada, nothing this time. None of the staff acted like they wanted to be there. We may not be back for awhile.

We have been many times - this was different. We used to get a half a plate of fried rice and then a half a plate of grilled veggies... this time we got a bowl of rice and a slice of zucchini... then a few grilled onions on the side.

Still one of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions! Always enjoy the food prep right in front of you. Just remember, that the tables seat 8; and that’s what they try to seat at each table. So bring your party and have a party!

I was very disappointed in the Service at this location. Had reservations for 5 but had to wait 20 minutes for a table, with so many tables open. The waiter was really dis-connected. (There were 5 in my party all adult women.) We had to ask for napkins cloth and paper and He didn't refill water until we were about to leave. He took my salad away, before I was finished with it. The 5 of us get together once a month. I always choose the restaurant. The drinks were decent and the food was very good. (Compliments to the Chef) But, the Service is also important to us. I don't know if we will be back. I will have to take a vote.

Geno was our chef and he was so funny and entertaining. We couldn’t stop laughing. We celebrated my daughter’s 17th birthday and had the best dinner ever! We go occasionally and this was our best dinner yet! Our waitress was on point with our drinks and served us very well! We are happy and satisfied 😃

We have been to this place for many years to celebrate birthdays. The chef we had this time was not good. He got food flying all over the place. He didn't even make the choo-choo train. The waiter was very good though.

Our waitress Kiera was very nasty and rude with us. We had a few questions about a few dishes and she was very nasty with her responses. She then proceeded to hand me a fork and forcibly say “you’re welcome” after this she then started taunting me with co-workers behind the wall as if we didn’t know she was talking about us. Our birthday celebration was ruined and we did not eat. Horrible place and management was no help what so ever!

Chef Geno was excellent. The filet was probably the best steak I’ve had at any Benihana’s over the last 20 years. He was funny and asked folks their preferences on protein, but also the veggies. That was good with multiple kids at the table. The server was good, but not great. She was patient taking or drink orders and cleared away plates and such quickly. She had a great attitude. One area of opportunity….dirty bowl bottoms on clean plates. The server brought the bowls of soup in on a wet tray that didn’t appear clean. The soup spilled a bit too and she placed the soup bowls with dirty bottoms directly on clean plates.

What's the point of having a reservation if they are running behind an entire hour? As someone had worked in the restaurant industry for years, I can't imagine overbooking/mismanaging a wait list this horribly. Would not go back her with a big group again.

Waited around an hour to be seated even with a reservation made well in advance. Groups of similar size arrived after us and were seated before us. Group was split into two and one cheff was amazing and one barely did anything or talked. The host was not very nice even though we were very understanding. We made the best of the experience since we were celebrating a birthday. Would definitely recommend the other locations.
