Went on a Wednesday night with reservations and still had to wait about 45 mins to get seated and then service was not good because they are understaffed. Meats were bland with barely any flavor and table cook was boring and didn’t really put on a show. Total cost for 6 people was $700 with $100 tip. Will not be going in the future and would not recommend it.

Had reservations for Birthday dinner. We were seated on time with a nice group of people. The food server was fabulous even though the restaurant was short staffed. The chef was personable and fun to watch. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were not seated at a table until 1 hour and 10 minutes later. Once we were seated, the service was great. The food was great, except that the shrimp ended up a bit burnt. I have been going for years and would go again.

Made reservations for 7:00pm but we were not seated until 8:30pm, defeats the purpose of making reservations. When we asked when we would be seated we were told there are 4 parties in front of you. We waited some more and 7 parties called later we asked again when we would be seated they said there are now 2 parties in front of us. We waited all while listening to the blonde host be disrespectful and rude to other waiting guest. Not sure why management put her in a position of hosting because she out right talks about guest to the other team members. Not a good look for the company. Once we were seated the food and chef was great! We've always enjoyed the food here and understand that there is a wait especially on a Saturday but never have we had to wait 1.5 hours with reservation.

Unfortunately, you can tell Benihana has lost its charm. What once may have been a fancy razzle dazzle show now has become a mediocre Let’s hurry up and get them in and out flow. The employees were all amazing. Staff was very welcoming, but you can tell they are overworked. I made reservations and still waited over an hour watching people who came in after us get seated immediately. It was nice that they passed out complementary sushi rolls if you were lucky to get one . my husband and I both picked the five course he was the only one that picked steamed white rice at the table, and he was the only one who didn’t get his rice . for the price you charge you should ensure that your guests get everything that they ordered . I noticed other tables were irritated as well as They didn’t get their drinks and desserts in a timely matter.

Horrible experience. Reservation was set for 7:30. We checked in with all party present at 7:15 and were told they were running behind so would be seated at 7:45 or 7:50. We ended up getting seated at 8:20. They took our order for drinks and food at 9:15. Food came out at 10 which was 2.5 hours after our reservation time. The server was in a hurry to get out so she essentially forced everyone to split the check in half and did not even provide a check. Very poor experience we were also told we had to reuse our dirty forks that we had discarded for our entree. This place has really gone downhill over the years and that is probably the last time I will bring the family back. We typically go there 3-4 times a year but I am afraid they lose our business.

Reservation times appear to be a sham here. Booked a table for 7:15 and got seated an hour and a half after that despite watching a number of the 7:30 and 7:45 reservations get seated before us. We were assured that we were a top priority as they continued to seat people who arrived after us.
