To be honest , I made my reservation to avoid waiting and we were prompted to wait in the side next to door dash orders and waited a whole 15 min after my reservation.. I even heard the manager advise front reservation to not forget we were waiting .. in which she did .. other people with no reservations were sat before us at least 2 other parties of 3 and 5 people.. the front reservation lady was pretty rude and can tell from the moment we walked in she was annoyed already to help us and mind you it was our first time at Benihana with two toddlers and it was not what I expected. Once sat at the table, our waitress had a accent and we asked her multiple times to speak up because we couldn’t understand her or hear what she was saying, this was the entire time.. every sentence with her was rushed since she had more than 3 tables to wait. And when we asked her to please repeat what she was saying she would get even more quiet and not say anything just stare at us.. our reservation was at 8:30 we were not served food till 10:20pm which was insane we just sat there waiting for a while I had to chase her for water refills since we sat there for ever just drinking water .. appetizers were served with the food which made no sense since we were waiting for a long time. While sitting there we overheard managers arguing with workers to help customers and be more productive and you can tell all the workers were under pressure to preform on a Sunday night. Everyone was very tense and can tell they didn’t want to work which was not what we expected on our first time being at Benihana . Once the chef started cooking we noticed the amount of food was very little .. we got the trio steak chicken and shrimp but the amount was for one person when it was 4 eating .. which was very strange , our order was messed up and she missed out on items we asked for and once the cooking started she mentioned we couldn’t add or change anything when it was wronged on her end .. we were rushed

First time back to Benihana in a few years. Food was delicious, service was great. My only gripe is that prices have really gone up. The seafood diablo meal was less than $28 before now its over $40 in just a few years crazy.

We had made reservations to eat in the lounge/bar area. When we checked in with our reservation the staff did not look at our reservation and assumed we wanted a table and directed us to wait in the bar. We reminded them we had reservations for the bar. the first table we were going to sit at was sticky and not cleaned properly. We chose another table. The wait staff was friendly but not knowledgeable about the menu or bar selections. We order a sake flight but she was clueless about the sake and could not tell us about them and just put it down. The waitress was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in my life. She had to be reminded to bring us table wear and napkins even when though our food had been delivered. She forgot to pick up our order from the sushi and it sat on the counter for many minutes until we were able to flag her down. The rest of our meal had been delivered by others and we were nearly finished before we got the rolls. We had to ask for soy sauce but she forgot and we had to ask again. Dessert was included in the meal -we ordered Chocolate ice cream. After many minutes she returned with vanilla and green tea. Neither we had ordered. When we received our bill she provided a Sharpie pen to sign- IMPOSSIBLE! according to our bill her name was Naomi- don't even know if that was correct since everything else was WRONG.

Benihana is always a great place to celebrate a special occasion. We have been going for years. It’s expensive, therefore we just go occasionally for a very special treat. The show is always fun; sometimes you are lucky and get an energetic, theatrical, engaging chef. Sometimes they just go through the motions. The one negative for us last night was an intrusive visit by a man trying to sell us some sort of Benihana birthday or family promotion. Just a loud, overly friendly, annoying, used car salesman, irritating approach that I did not appreciate at all. To top it off, he later reappeared with a tray of margarita samples. Now, most people would appreciate a free little plastic cup of fruity margarita, and a couple people at our table did take them. I guess the expectation is that you like it so much you order one immediately. But, only one of the seven of us had ordered an alcoholic drink, and he didn’t want or need a second. For some reason, this addition to the usual Benihana experience really annoyed me and several others in our group. Aside from that, the food was delicious as always, and the chef was pretty good.

What a disappointment! We usually love this restaurant but the waiter ignored our table and even brought drinks, left them where we couldn’t reach them and returned 10 minutes later to pass them out. Our chef skipped most of the fun show elements and our daughter’s 13th birthday celebration was a huge disappointment. Our waiter seemed to be annoyed we were even there and constantly tried to upsell us. We waited forever for dessert and he seemed frustrated when he realized he would have to do a birthday dessert for my daughter. He explained they didn’t do anything special. We won’t be returning.

The meal was one of the best experiences my family had because of the chef magic Mike, he is the best and I’ve been coming for over 20 years. The manager was nice also. The reason I did not give five stars for overall experience is because of the bartender. I asked for a little more of the topper liquor, so the drink wouldn’t be so sweet . Unfortunately, she put soda water and something else but not what I asked for. The liquor I asked for is brown and it was definitely not brown, so she lied . Unfortunately, the drink wasn’t that great and I ended up paying $22. That’s ridiculous for this restaurant and for a pre-mixed drink. I wanted to say give me my money back however, I really don’t like to be rude . Needless to say, I did not order another drink and refuse to pay such a high price for it. Had she made an effort to do what I asked I probably would’ve ordered another one which means Benihana lost out on more money I would’ve spent. Definitely need a new bartender.

Came to have some lunch with family today at Benihana. The general manager came to greet us at our table and explained the new loyalty program. (You should definitely sign up, it has great rewards!) our server was attentive as well as our chef. Everything was really good. Definitely way better than our last experience here. The only thing I will say is that it takes a little too long in between getting your soup/salad and then having the chef come to make your food. If you’re looking for faster service, it’s best to go to the bar seating. Definitely will be back!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been back, the food was on point, the service was a bit slow, other than that it was a good experience, except for a female in our party who couldn’t handle her alcohol!

We were there for my and my brother in law birthday. Server was so rude and like he got bored to listen what we need, we asked for well cooked everything but it wasn't wich my doughter didn't ear her shrimp at all. After that they charged us around $80 for service charge and we asked we paid separately for two family but manager just said this is what it is. We came back home and I forgot to used my $30 coupon which I resived for my birthday, I called first one lady and after that one guy that was so rude told me we can not adjust that. We didn't have good experience after spending more than $600 and even they didn't want to adjust $30 coupon. This was last time we were there and I'm not recommending to any one
