The experience was not great, first we have a reservation at 9:45 and they make us wait for 45 minutes, they give us a table till 10:30. Service was dissapointed. The cook didnt give us the show when he was cooling and everyone recive the bowl of rice exept for me, I got only half of the bowl because was not enough for me but they charge me full amount. I would not go back to Benihana

Although they were behind schedule with the reservations, the overall experience was great. Our chef was very friendly and engaging. The food was good and we also got a complimentary printed photograph. Will definitely come back for future celebrations.

We had our reservation at 4:15 and we got sat down at 6:20. We waited over two hours. The manager lady on the floor didn’t know what to do. She said people before us, which was not good. They shouldn’t take that many reservations.

First off the wait even with a reservation was unbelievable. Even after we got the text saying that our table was ready, we still had to stand there and wait another 8 minutes. The food had no flavor and the sauces were watery. I ordered a drink from the bar and it never came. The price does not equal value. I will not go back.

Had a great dining experience for Father's Day. The bartender, hostess, waitress and Chef all greeted Dads with a Happy Father's Day, which made the day feel special! Accompanied by good food and a relaxed atmosphere, made the experience here, worth the money.

We went on Saturday for an early Father’s Day dinner. Our server Sam was nice and attentive. Our chef Katrina is very skilled and did an outstanding job cooking for 9 people. The food was delicious. The group of people we sat with were fun. Overall we had a great time. We left full and very happy.

I took my family visiting from overseas and I was so embarrassed as our chef was so underwhelming. He didn’t do any tricks and barely muttered the ingredients he was throwing on the grill. I complained midway and the manager stood there for a few mins and the chef sort of perked up but was still so so sad. It was like he hated his job and someone had forced him to be there. The food he prepared was mediocre. I’ve been to Benihana four times in different locations in the bay area but Cupertino was the worst both in terms of cleanliness (there were flies everywhere) and chef persona. If you do want to try benihanas, go to other locations. DO NOT go to Cupertino.

We were really looking forward to dining in with Benihana for a very special birthday celebration, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations due to poor service. Our server was very slow and disorganized. We received our appetizers and soups just as Chef Alex had already started preparing our chicken fried rice at the table. Then, our salads were brought out after the main dish was finished. She also forgot to bring two orders of white rice, and I had to remind her multiple times to bring kids’ chopsticks and refill our water. It felt like we were constantly trying to get her attention just to keep things on track. That said, Chef Alex was absolutely phenomenal, he was very attentive to us, and the highlight of the evening. He made our experience a bit better. To top it off, our server had us retake our group photo four times due to what she said was a "Wifi issue," and even after all that, the final photo still came out dark and blurry. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially on the service side, which could have been a really fun evening. We hope the service improves because the chefs deserve better support.

I love Benihana, but this time it was a very poor experience. The waiter was slow and inattentive. The appetizers didn't come until after the food was being cooked. The chef spoke very quietly, and I couldn't hear what he was saying. He didn't seem confident and was didn't put on the "show" that is usually part of the dining experience. Some of the food was cooked too long. I was very disappointed.
