The food was excellent but the service was not that great. I only say that because we waited 1hr 30mins for the chef to come to our table to start on our food. Let me not start on how long they took to take our orders. But luckily the chef knows what he is doing and the food was great. I would recommend this restaurant but be aware sometimes the service will be drawn out.
The waitress was horrible did not stop by for 25 minutes after we were seated. The other guest that sat with us walked out after having enough! We unfortunately stayed because it’s not easy to get to a new restaurant with two kids. When she greeted us her excuse was sorry I had a 10 top table I had to cash out. Yet.... she did not take the same courtesy with us when we were leaving she kept the book and did not run the card until after she went and got drinks for another table and we sat there for so long until we freaked out saying oh my god can you bring my check already! Horrible experience!!! How was there no manager around at this point when it happened to about 4 tables how did no manager walk out and check in the table when other guest had left from how the service was! Probably will no be back. Was only our second visit and it was beyond horrible!
We love the food prepared right in front of us but if we go as a couple we end up sitting at a noisy table with kids which is not enjoyable to us.
Also, the ladies restroom was extremely dirty and there is no excuse for this!
Love this location always a great experience. Food was served in a timely manner.

We always enjoy Benihana but this occasion it was BEST visit ever for to A FANTASTIC Hibachi chef. This guy was really excellent.
When we went to the restaurant on Monday, March 12, the table was greasy as if it had not been cleaned before seating us, and the food portions were smaller than normal. I visit the Coral Spring location frequently and lately the quality of the food, and the restaurant itself has decreased tremendously.
Wonderful time! I took my parents there for their first time along with my daughter. My parents really enjoyed themselves and cannot wait to go there again.
Made a reservation for 2pm and was seated at 3:30. It was my husband's Birthday and we were with our 6 year old kids and family. The restaurant lacks management and organization. Food was adequate. Would not recommend.
This place is slowly falling apart. The service was terrible. The very first thing we ordered were drinks including bar drinks. The waitress kept telling us every 5 min that the bar was backed up and our drinks are coming. We waited literally 30min for our drinks until my husband got up halfway through our chef cooking the meal to go to bar to buy our drinks. When we went to the bar, our drinks were sitting there. He asked the bar tender if he could take them to our table because they were ours and had been waiting. Of course the bar tender gave him an attitude and told him he would have to take the whole tray of drinks, not just ours. So he was basically telling my husband that he had to serve other people’s drinks as well. Overall the experience was not good. The food was ok and super expensive. Next time we will stick with going to Saitos instead.

The food is always great, however I made reservations for 1:15pm and didn’t get my food until 2:10 because apparently take out orders takes precedence.

The podium check in area was chaotic. No one was assigned to it. Several different servers jumped in to manage it while serving drinks! Our reservation was for 7:45 and we were seated at 8:30!
This was the most painful experience that my family and I have ever endured. Benihana should have better time management for scheduled reservations. We waited for two hours (after our reserved time) to finally have food presented to us. The manager didn’t do anything to make the situation better. The entire table was unhappy. Somehow Benihana‘s managed to ruin a huge special occasion all at once. Thanks Benihana.
UNFORTUNATELY The Host staff was not as polite as they could have been when they are BEHIND in sitting patrons with reservations.
Took an hour past reservation time to be seated. Another 45 min to be waited on.
By the time the waiter and cook were informed customers were at the table... we only had time to BOX UP OUR FOOD and NEVER RECEIVED all of the food ordered
Food was amazing overall experience was good. The only problem was we got our soups and salads while the cook was cooking instead of before.
When dining the other night we were at the restaurant for a full 2.5 hours because the service is so slow. They have no organization for how the food should come out. I ordered 2 different sakes which were both sold out. Not the experience we expected.
The only drawback was our reservation was for 7:15 we had to wait till 7:30 to get seated and then till 8 pm before we got served our drinks and another 40 minutes before our chef arrived. We left at 10:30 pm.
The food was very good and so was the presentation.
Had a reservation at 7:30. Did not get seated for an hour and then 5 people walked out at our table after being seated because of having to wait to long. Server was wonderful but chef did not come to table for another 30 minutes. 2 hours of waiting until we ate.

On February 25th We walked out after waiting almost two hours with absolutely no service & went to Runyons. We had a party of 8 for my sisters birthday! There were only 6 tables occupied so it was not crowded at all. Had to wait an hour to be seated. Another half an hour for anyone to come to table. We placed our drink order & they never came. So now there two hours with no service. No water no orders nothing. When asked to see manager we told him we were leaving & he never apologized. Just shrugged his shoulders. We have lived in Coral Springs for over 30 years. We will never step foot in that restaurant again. Not sure if it was a racial thing as the few tables that were occupied were African American as well as the staff...Very disappointed!!!!
The service was horrible! The manager wasn’t making sure the customers were happy at all! I will never recommend anyone that location!
We’ve been to this location numerous times and have always had the same chef, Kin, who is fantastic! We did request him but he wasn’t there tonight. Our chef JC was terrible. Super nice guy but zero personality and hardly did any kind of “show”. He barely did the basics and rushed through the entire dinner. The food was also ridiculously bland, it literally had zero flavor (thank goodness for the sauces). The fried rice, that we paid extra for, had several patches of just white rice. The noodles we ordered for my son, lacked flavor as well. Half had sauce and half didn’t. I ordered the steak and shrimp and normally the chef doesn’t put the fat on my plate, this time he did. Large pieces of it too. Not very appetizing. My husband has the same opinions.
Not only was our chef terrible but our server wasn’t great either. He was suuuuuper slow. We didn’t get our soup or salads until the chef started cooking. That’s never happened. He was, however, very nice though.
As we were being seated, the table next to ours had a major issue as they were talking to the manager when we sat down and I don’t know if our server and chef were frazzled from what had just occurred but something was definitely off as this entire experience wasn’t what we are used to from Benihana.
Extremely disappointed in our experience tonight and not sure if we will return for a while, which is a shame because it’s my son’s favorite place.
We got seated right away and the service was great.
Food was good, service was terrible. Lots of young servers who did not really know what they were doing. Our Hibachi chef couldn’t get the food out properly due to the server’s incompetence. Server messed up a simple drink order because he didn’t know the menu. Don’t know that we will be visiting this location again.
There was a problem with my Birthday voucher. Instead of waiting till the end, the waiter came to me just as my food was being served and had me searching in my emails and trying to forward. As there was no signal in the restaurant I became very frustrated and by now my
meal was cold.

Although we have a 730 reservation we weren’t seated until closer to 8. However our server, Rico, was spectacular. Prompt, timely, conscientious and accommodating. We watched him take care of not just our table, but our entire section. Although it was clearly not his responsibility! He was deescalating for other patrons and supportive to his peers. ASK FOR RICO when making a reservation!!!
the host was terrible. they had to be short of help and chefs, for the tables. we walked in i said a made a reservation 5:30. Monday the 19th. she did not sit us, for 20min the place was empty , so i asked another lady and she took us to the table. very bad experience because young kids did not care. we never had that happened to us before. to bad. We where seven of us and the bill was over 225.00. I should of stopped the charge dinner was not good. hope the manager gets this notice.
Kai the chef was amazing... Our server Camila was alright. She took forever to bring drinks or refills for that matter. I had to speak up for the couple next to me because she ordered wine and didn't receive it until 15 min of ordering it. Granted yes it was Valentines day but they weren't busy yet. Over all food was amazing like always
I went to Benihana's for my daughter's 17th birthday and we had an awesome time my shelf name was Caesar he did an awesome job very vocal very playful very very very funny very professional I plan on coming back March 12th for my niece birthday it was the very first time my kids came to Benihana's they definitely want to come back and when we do return we definitely want to have Chef Caesar again
