Chef was what the waiter went missing for 45 minutes Food got cold by the time we found her

Fantastic, had so much fun , food is wonderful, service is great . Best time everytime .
I arrived at the bar sat there for 25 minutes bartender never even acknowledge me, I guess because I was alone at the time. Then got up and got seated when my companion arrived. The service in the restaurant area was phenomenal. I do not recommend going to the bar at all.
My 8yr old daughter loves the food! It’s a bit far for us but worth the drive
Took my son there for his bday with a party of 11 .Wait time was too long even though i made reservations,hostess were not nice and our waiter Emma was not attentive,service was super slow. Even to start our drink order took too long as well as our cook to come out. However once the cheif Ben gor started he was very nice. Just wish we had another waiter ,cause she didn't deserve that gratuity.

I HAD A PARTY OF 12, CELEBRATING MY NEPHEW'S BDAY, SO I BOOKED ONLINE. THE MAX SEATING IS FOR 6 SO I BOOKED 2 DIFFERENT TABLES, ONE IN MY NAME AND ONE IN MY SISTER'S NAME. ONCE THE RESTAURANT OPENED I CALLED TO INFORM OF THE PARTY OF TWELVE BUT BOOKED WITH 2 DIFFERENT NAMES, THE HOSTESS HUNG UP ON ME THE FIRST TIME, CALLED BACK THE MANAGER UNDERSTOOD MY REQUEST BUT IT TOOK AN ENTIRE HOUR OF WAITING TO BE SEATED.
GOT SEATED, ANOTHER 20 MINS BEFORE THE SERVER EMMA TO GREET US. ANOTHER 30 MINS TO GET DRINKS AND SOUP. THEN ANOTHER 30 MIN FOR THE CHEF TO GET ON THE GRILL. RIIIIIIIDICULOUS, DISASTROUS SERVICE THROUGHOUT LUNCH.
I DROVE AN HOUR TO BE THERE AND I'M NOT SURE I'LL BE BACK! THE STAFF CARED LESS ABOUT HOW WE FELT AND DID NOTHING TO RECTIFY OUR VISIT.
Our service was wonderful. Our server (Rachel) was amazing. Our glasses were never empty. We never had to wait to get her attention as she would check in with our table very frequently to make sure all of our dining needs were met. Our cook (Kin) was awesome. He preformed many tricks as he cooked and everyone was interested in his performance . The food was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely request Rachel and Kin on my next visit which will be very soon.

The manager on duty Jasmine was terribly rude and treated me terribly. She went out of her way to make our experience awful. She was very difficult for no reason. Just awful!

Our server Rico was amazing. Our glasses never went below 1/4 full. He would always check on our table to make sure we always had what we needed.
Service was fine, once we got it. This was the third time we've eatrn lunch there rrcently. The 1st 2 times, we werevsrated and served in a timely manner. Not this time. We had a resrrvation and were told to give them a minute or 2. 20 minutes later, I went up to the desk and was seated shortly thereafter. Then we sat and we sat and we sat another 25 mins. until our orders were taken.

I’ve been to three other Benihana locations besides this one and I’m very disappointed. Upon entering, the carpet was dirty. First red flag. Approaching the check in counter, 5 or more employees just chatting, only one greeted me. Second red flag. Once I was finally seated, the chef, although friendly, walked away while food was cooking, burning some of the rice, luckily other guests at the table liked that sort of thing. The yum yum sauce had a different consistency than what I was used to and the chef wasn’t as engaging as the others I’ve had. Totally not the experience I’m used to! At least the Benihana long islands were perfect! I plan to never visit this location again though, there’s nothing that could make me go back.

WE TOOK MY MOTHER IN LAW TO BENIHANA'S FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND MY BIRTHDAY COMBINED. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, BUT WE SAT AT THIS TABLE FOR THE EXCITEMENT OF THE SHOW OF COOKING, AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE CHEF DIDN'T DO ANY TYPE OF SHOW EXCEPT FOR AN ONION THING, AND HE FORGOT TO GIVE MY MOTHER IN LAW AND MYSELF OUR WHITE RICE...WE HAD TO ASK FOR IT AND RECEIVED IT AFTER WE HAD FINISHED OUR MEAL. WE LIVE BY JAPAN INN, AND FREQUENT IT, AS IT IS SIMILAR TO THE TYPE OF DINING AS BENIHANA'S, BUT THERE THEY PUT ON A MAGNIFICENT SHOW, AND FOR ABOUT HALF THE PRICE. WE THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE SPECIAL, BUT IT WAS NOT. I FILMED WHAT LITTLE SHOW WE HAD, IF YOU NEED TO SEE IT.
Delicious food, Friendly Service, great deal for a lunch but dinner menu is very pricey for a date night plan to spend at least $75 before gratuity.
Low rating is because of the fact that the reservation system is broken. I’ve been to this place several times and statistically half the time I’ve waited 30-40 minutes for a reservation. Each time it’s the same reasoning, shortage of chefs! If you can’t staff properly than cut back your reservations. Once you get in, everything is fine. Clearly the staff understands you’ve been waiting and seems trained to understand that. The food as always is great and the staff tries their best. But if you can’t get in the restaurant promptly, what good is the rest of the experience? Also, I’ve been to several Benihana’s nationwide and to my knowledge this is the only location that has given me reservation problems.
The food was good. The chef did a good job, however the service was Awful!!! The waiter was beyond bad. We had a reservation and had to wait 40 minutes for a table when there were many empty tables. The waiter came over maybe 2 times- once to take the order and another to give us the check- never saw him after that. When we sat down, we asked for a manager, and they never came over to us. Very bad service- very poorly run!
I came for my birthday with my two kids. First off the hibachi chef was not motivated at all. Didn’t do any tricks really , barely interacted with the table, it was just miserable watching him cooking the food when there were only 4 people on the table ! After that my daughter mentioned to the server that it was my birthday all they brought was a small cup of whipped cream and a candle !

I paid $28 for a few shrimps! I told them that I did not eat rice, they did not have even offer a vegetable substitute.
The food was excellent but the service was not that great. I only say that because we waited 1hr 30mins for the chef to come to our table to start on our food. Let me not start on how long they took to take our orders. But luckily the chef knows what he is doing and the food was great. I would recommend this restaurant but be aware sometimes the service will be drawn out.
The waitress was horrible did not stop by for 25 minutes after we were seated. The other guest that sat with us walked out after having enough! We unfortunately stayed because it’s not easy to get to a new restaurant with two kids. When she greeted us her excuse was sorry I had a 10 top table I had to cash out. Yet.... she did not take the same courtesy with us when we were leaving she kept the book and did not run the card until after she went and got drinks for another table and we sat there for so long until we freaked out saying oh my god can you bring my check already! Horrible experience!!! How was there no manager around at this point when it happened to about 4 tables how did no manager walk out and check in the table when other guest had left from how the service was! Probably will no be back. Was only our second visit and it was beyond horrible!
We love the food prepared right in front of us but if we go as a couple we end up sitting at a noisy table with kids which is not enjoyable to us.
Also, the ladies restroom was extremely dirty and there is no excuse for this!

We always enjoy Benihana but this occasion it was BEST visit ever for to A FANTASTIC Hibachi chef. This guy was really excellent.
When we went to the restaurant on Monday, March 12, the table was greasy as if it had not been cleaned before seating us, and the food portions were smaller than normal. I visit the Coral Spring location frequently and lately the quality of the food, and the restaurant itself has decreased tremendously.
Wonderful time! I took my parents there for their first time along with my daughter. My parents really enjoyed themselves and cannot wait to go there again.
Made a reservation for 2pm and was seated at 3:30. It was my husband's Birthday and we were with our 6 year old kids and family. The restaurant lacks management and organization. Food was adequate. Would not recommend.
This place is slowly falling apart. The service was terrible. The very first thing we ordered were drinks including bar drinks. The waitress kept telling us every 5 min that the bar was backed up and our drinks are coming. We waited literally 30min for our drinks until my husband got up halfway through our chef cooking the meal to go to bar to buy our drinks. When we went to the bar, our drinks were sitting there. He asked the bar tender if he could take them to our table because they were ours and had been waiting. Of course the bar tender gave him an attitude and told him he would have to take the whole tray of drinks, not just ours. So he was basically telling my husband that he had to serve other people’s drinks as well. Overall the experience was not good. The food was ok and super expensive. Next time we will stick with going to Saitos instead.

The food is always great, however I made reservations for 1:15pm and didn’t get my food until 2:10 because apparently take out orders takes precedence.
