We’ve been going for a long time, but had the best service ever this last time.
This was the Worst Benihana I have EVER BEEN TO!!! I didn’t think this was possible. My family LOVES Benihana.we go there every time we travel somewhere that has one. We do not live near one.
This was actually our second night in a row at Benihana. We had eaten at the Ft Lauderdale location the night before.
Coral Gables was a different story .The service was aweful, the chef was horrible, the food was lousy !!!!
All the things that I would never expect from a Benihana!!!!
I was very disappointed and I will never return !!!
Great for a family. My kids are 1 and 11 and they both enjoyed the experience.
Great place the cook was great and so was the server
Hibachi chef was attentive and very impressive!
Kind of the usual you would expect from Tepinyaki style places. Wouldn’t come without a reservation though cause the wait is pretty hefty without it. Food was good though! Chef and waiter were great!
We went as a family of 10 people and it was great! Felix, our chef, was excellent and was very attentive to each of, including the 4 and 5 year old.
More children than adults in restaurant so if you want a quiet adult meal skip the hibachi table and go to sushi bar. The hibachi table meal is quite good if you don’t mind the hokey show by the chef. Soup salad small shrimp appetizer friend rice for nominal charge veggies from grill and entre. I like the seafood combo with large shrimp scallops and lobster.
At tables for eight there is always risk of incomparable table mates. I was next to a young adult woman who had the broth, about a teaspoon of rice and declared herself stuffed. I almost felt guilty eating everything I was served.
It’s was awesome chef manny was the best
We went to Benihana for my sons 13th birthday, we were 8 total. I regularly go to the Benihana in North Bay Village but its always booked so we went to Coral Gables instead. The location is not as nice as the one in North Bay Village but was not bad. The chef was very nice (Carlos) and connected with the kids, they were entertained.
Great place to celebrate with family and friends. Food is delicious!
This was my third visit to this location and it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We will be going back.
Our cook was so nice and the food was delicious!
Birthday dinner for my mother in law.
I had been to Benihana in Miramar and had a nice dinner. But in Coral Gables, the hibachi chef had no idea what he was doing. None of the 5 entrees were served at the same time. The shrimp appetizer was served LAST. The onions were served after the vegetables. There was barely any showmanship...
They were out of sherbet (included with meal) - they did substitute ice cream. Bus person was lurking throughout meal. And the restaurant was empty (6pm on Thursday) - so they were in no hurry. Waitress was good but the cook really ruined it for me. Quantities were small.
