Cook was slow and food was bland and overpriced
Made reservations earlier in the day for 7:30, we showed up and confirmed our reservations at 7:20, we were never checked in apporiately so we sat for over half an hour with a restless kid and screaming toddler by the time we were seated and received our drinks it was 8:20, we are around 9 and left about 9:30. Overall our service and chef were great, but we will probably not be back for a very long time. There was no compensation or even an apology for our wait. It was extremely frustrating.

The place was very smelly and needed an exhaust system. Service was fair, waited for drinks and for rice to arrive
We go several times per year. Our chef only did the basics to cook the food, very little entertainment. If this was a first time I’d have been really disappointed given the prices and what you come to expect.

Disappointed. We were celebrating our 12 year old grandson's birthday. The server explained he was too tired as they had "460 reservations" the night before. My grandson asked the server what his favorite food was and the server responded " I don't like anything here, I'm sick of it all".
25 minute wait. Not sure their definition or reservation Is? Food wasn't good. Chicken was over cooked, noisy, dirty. Waste of money. Will not be going back!!!
The five of us ladies were celebrating one of our birthdays. We enjoyed the food, the food preparation show, and the service. We all had wine, hibachi chicken, beef, or shrimp along with the soup, salad, and fried rice - all delicious especially the rice! Total price seemed high but still a fun time.

Not so good
Food was fantastic, chef and wait staff were wonderful! Hosts were understaffed and in general provided poor service. The restrooms were filthy, and remained so despite us advising the host. Also, we arrived for our 6:45 reservation at 6:35. We were advised it might be a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine. However, the host didn’t check us in despite us giving our name. I went back up at 7:15, to find we were never checked in. I discovered this while looking at the computer screen at the consistently vacant host stand, waiting for the chance to talk to someone. We waited almost an hour after our reservation to get a table and it would have been significantly worse if I hadn’t of pressed them. I could have forgiven the error, but it was evident we weren’t the only ones having issues. They shouldn’t offer reservations if they can’t honor the times within a reasonable window.
When we arrived the guy who sat us was so rude and made us wait 45 min after we checked in and the first person to come and take our order was 25 min our server was very nice and he gave us a discount to make up for our wait

Worst ever, service was not good and food was not prepared well.
Rice came out after all the food was prepared and was not done very hard.
Salads never came to the table and waiter said they are behind we even said that’s ok bring them when you can (salsa never made it to the table). Desert never showed up.
This was so bad that I even handed the plate to the waiter after one bite as the rice was so hard.
Note that this was a 6 course meal the shrimp was put on the grill first and the last thing to come off it was like rubber.
It was a very disappointing g experience in every way. I left the facility without eating and payed over$150.00 for a meal that was not eaten.
My wife and I where very pleased with our food it was fantastic. Seeing that it was just the 2 of us, we were seated with a family of 6 they were very enjoyable.
This plays is always incredible. Atmosphere, service, and especially food. Everything is always top notch.
It'd be nice if there wasn't so much waiting for people with reservations. Long wait to be seated and a long wait for a server, the. A long wait for a chef/food.
The overall experience was great this is one of my favorite places to eat. The rice cooker broke down so we waited over an hour for rice and we was the first table there so that was discouraging. The manager took care of us and apologized for the wait and gace us 50% off so that was nice.
The customer service was great. My problem was with my chief she had great customer service but did not seem like she knew what’s she was doing. Are food was cooked out of order, rice was not done. My steak was still pink inside after asking for well done. The food overal was not seasoned well. I have ate here multiple times and never had this happen. I was very disappointed.
Food was excellent.. but the restaurant temperature was too cold and it made it uncomfortable to eat ..
We were seated right away, but waited a good 10 minutes to be greeted by a server. Only after another lady at our table went & complained, did he come. From that point on, service was good. Chef was great! Very nice & entertaining.

Waitress was fun, as was the cook. A little sarcasm was great. Best if you have a group of 7 or 8.

Food was great. We were sat down at our reservation time. We received our soup and salad but we had almost an hour wait after that for the chef to prep the main food. It looked they were short handed in chefs.
they were short staffed and apologized serveral times...forgot to bring steamed rice...but made up for it with their politemness and apologies...
will be back to give another opportunity

Service was slow. Had to wait quite some time with a reservation. Our drinks took at least 20 min and they forgot to give us our soup and salad before dinner service started. I was also charged for an extra glass of wine that I had cancelled because it was taking too long and we were leaving. I was very disappointed in my experience. It was my first experience and I had higher expectations. I will not be back or recommend Benihanna.

As always, we had a great time. The food is delicious, fresh, and satisfying. Never have any problems with over or under cooked meats, and the atmosphere is great. It's not cheap, but you pay for the quality. The only negative moments I've had we're all because of rude other customers.
$100 was a lot for two people to watch a guy catch an egg in his shirt pocket and a few squares of sirloin. I don’t think I’ll be back.
Great Food and Great staff That was our first time dining there and we had a great time. The restaurant is very nice and clean
Where to begin. Terrible experience all the way around. The table chef could not been more disengaged...no humor, never talked to our table. We never got rice , even after asking both the server, the chef and the manager. Got one round of drinks then server never came back to get drinks, refills or clear anything from the table. we literally had dishes piled up at the end of the table and people would walk by but never take them. Far to expensive for this type of service.

Always exceptional service to go with the amazing food! Always make a reservation as otherwise the wait can be up to 2 hours or more. They do have seating separate from the hibachi tables that can be done without reservations. Definitely worth the price.
This location was horrible, the management was poor and unapologetic, was seated for my birthday and was the only ones back there two other tables came after us and were seated and food and drinks were given to them before us, our chief didn't even have enough food for all of us to make it worse the chicken was not cooked,and the shrimp was disgusting not deviened we did not eat anything but was still giving bills manager didn't even come to our table had someone else it just ruined my birthday very very sad. This was the Polaris location.
Unfortunately, both my husband and I ended up in the restroom after we ate our food. Staff was nice, the actual show was lackluster and could use some flare. We always look forward to the large fire "lighting" when the chef comes out, but our chef did not do it. It was basically seeing food cooked in front of us with minimal stunts and tricks. Worse, the digestion of the food didn't go so well. It might be time to try a different Hibachi-style restaurant for us.
Daniel is the best chef we have ever had here and we have been coming here for years. I recommend requesting him. He took the time to really cook the rice. Food was great. He was entertaining and personable.
Used to be a favorite, but will not return now. Chef took an hour to come to our table and blamed it on a crazy night last night - mind you it was 3:45pm at this point. He wasn’t prepared and returned to the kitchen at least 3-4 times to get additional food he forgot. He cursed in front of my daughter and the other party’s 3 young boys. He was too busy joking around with the other chef to make sure the customers at his table were taken care of. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes at lunch to get through our meal. Very unprofessional.
