Kind of expensive got sushi a meal steck chicken scallops it was 100. For 1
The cook was amazing
We was supposed to sit at 7:45p we didn't till 8:30. Host was very Rude and Disrespectful to guess! We finally got to the table it still took waiter 20 minutes to come take Orders for drinks. After we received drinks. We still waited for food Orders to be taken..... at this point we asked for Manger the HOST said Good Luck.
The service was so bad that, even after asking twice when my drink didn't come - it still didn't come. We were on salads before I got a glass of wine. The chef's there are so great and the service is typically incredibly, unacceptably slow.

First of all was seated 25 minutes late the place had dirt and dust on the walls and the lights my eight year old granddaughter it was her birthday I told them twice and nothing was done no dessert no singing no ice cream. My four-year-old granddaughters dinner of chicken tempura did not even make it to the table so I had to feed her half of my dinner. When we were done eating the waitress brought over the tempura and one piece already had a bite taken out of it. They were severely understaffed. It was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant.
Waitress had a attitude, waited until the end of my meal before my appetizer was brought out after asking for it twice and it was sopped in oil, had eggshells all in my food, was almost hit with a flying spatula twice , and the ice cream at the end was barely anything to taste, It looked like a sample. Totally dissatisfied with the experience as a whole.
The server was mean and the chef showed a lack of care of food
I never been to this location i won’t be back service was terrible from the time we walked to their door. We didn’t even have plates when the chef cooked the food we had to stop her from about to put the food on our plates we didn’t have. She had to find our server. Social distancing not enforced. My boyfriend wanted to change his drink the waitress said he couldn’t. We still tipped her pretty good even though this was the worst service i received in a while and it was my birthday. Will not be returning will stick to the Pittsburgh location.

We we're treated rudely! Food had a up charge ! Server tried to keep our change from our food ! This was by far the worse experience ever I wouldn't recommend the manger was rude had a attitude soon as we came in food was terrible it's like we got the last of everything
Waitress was very slow. Chef took a long time to come to the table and begin preparing the food. When he arrived he only cooked one item at a time and did not have all of the items needed when he arrived at the table. Over all the food was delicious. Just took much longer than usual. We frequent Benihana Cleveland about once per month.
We did not even dine here. The lobby was a chaotic mess with take out customers fighting with the only host making it impossible for us to be seated. After being seated after ten minutes of standing in a non social distanced lobby side by side with others waiting we were not greeted for another ten minutes. At that point I knew I did not want to spend all that money when the service was already so poor. Ruined my whole Valentine’s Day, needless to say will not return.
It was good food was cooked well just over priced,
Had reservations at 12:30 pm didn’t get seated until 1:00 pm come out to find table had been ready, after waiting for 30 minutes didn’t get served for another 45 minutes. The cook in front of us was amazing but the others didn’t pay attention to our needs, had to ask for refills, nearly gave up and left the restaurant but after traveling to go to this restaurant we end up sticking it out. By the way the restaurant was empty so we were very confused on why we didn’t get much great service.

Everything was great besides the fact that they didn’t seat us at a hibachi table by ourselves when there were only three hibachi stations being used at the time other than that everything was great

I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before in my life but this one deserves it. Say there for an hour without any service and the staff was just so unfriendly and unkind. Ended up leaving without even eating. save yourself the time and money.

Kids meal is a rip off you paying for the meat than the starch than juice its a rip off than my mom got the 5 course meal her entrée was little portion and the shrimp app three shrimp he cuts it in half to serve us only thing that was good was the ice cream and the shrimp they gave my grandsons my mom had to share her little old meal I won't go back there
Seating was extremely slow. Reservations for 2 at 6:15, Not seated until 7:00. Quite frustrating. Waitress was quite good. Food was average at best. Chef didn't really entertain.
For the price/value I won't return.
Had a good allergy to shellfish and they put it on my plate
We were late for dinner, so there was a short delay with getting seated, but after that the service and food was great. Our server and chef was excellent. It was my birthday and I had a great time. It was all of our first time there. Our friends, and our teenage children had fun watching the chef cook while doing tricks on the grill. Very nice time.

It was freezing in there our server was very rude never checked on us forgot a lot of our items it was so cold to the point i took my food home to eat
We traveled from Michigan 2 hours and it was terrible, only two servers working the whole restaurant , our sushi roll was baked but was ice cold , took 40 mins to get soup and salad and waiter never able to check on us due to shortage of staff.
Ron is the best chef ever!! I live in Arizona but visit Cleveland several times/year and every time I’m back hone my family and I stop at Benihana’s for lunch.

This is the worst Benihana’s in Ohio management is horrible trash bags outside the door unclean tables everywhere the chef tried to make it better but there was nothing he could do to stop the horrible overall service from start to finish.
My wife and I really enjoy Benihana, the food is fresh and staff are wonderful. Just make sure you make reservations as they get VERY busy! Best miso soup out of all the hibachi places in Cleveland.
We haven’t been in a very long time. Certainly has gone down hill unfortunately. Portions were small and price was high. Can get a better value elsewhere for sure. The place is definitely showing age and could use a good cleaning and update and maybe a little pride. A little disappointing for us.
Fantastic food! Always look forward to eating here. Great service. Took a few minutes to get seated in spite of reservation but all in all, it was nice.
We brought our 16 yo in for her birthday. The chef forgot multiple prep items for our dinners and had to ask to get them, he was not terribly engaging, although nice. The food was less than mediocre and very overpriced for the value. Very disappointed!
