It was freezing in there our server was very rude never checked on us forgot a lot of our items it was so cold to the point i took my food home to eat
We traveled from Michigan 2 hours and it was terrible, only two servers working the whole restaurant , our sushi roll was baked but was ice cold , took 40 mins to get soup and salad and waiter never able to check on us due to shortage of staff.
Ron is the best chef ever!! I live in Arizona but visit Cleveland several times/year and every time I’m back hone my family and I stop at Benihana’s for lunch.

This is the worst Benihana’s in Ohio management is horrible trash bags outside the door unclean tables everywhere the chef tried to make it better but there was nothing he could do to stop the horrible overall service from start to finish.
My wife and I really enjoy Benihana, the food is fresh and staff are wonderful. Just make sure you make reservations as they get VERY busy! Best miso soup out of all the hibachi places in Cleveland.
We haven’t been in a very long time. Certainly has gone down hill unfortunately. Portions were small and price was high. Can get a better value elsewhere for sure. The place is definitely showing age and could use a good cleaning and update and maybe a little pride. A little disappointing for us.
Fantastic food! Always look forward to eating here. Great service. Took a few minutes to get seated in spite of reservation but all in all, it was nice.
We brought our 16 yo in for her birthday. The chef forgot multiple prep items for our dinners and had to ask to get them, he was not terribly engaging, although nice. The food was less than mediocre and very overpriced for the value. Very disappointed!
Christmas! Tot was our chef. Between him and our server, the meal was perfect! She was exceptionally kind and gracious. Tot was so entertaining and made this Christmas so special. My Mom is going through chemo for breast cancer and he made her smile and laugh so much! We’ve been going to Benihana’s since it opened as the Samurai. Today was truly the best experience in al of our years! Thank you!
Everything was fine, the only thing I had a issue with is I needed more yum tum sauce and the cook would not give me any until he was finish cooking.
My waiter was not really tentative to me & my guest. Also did not receive all the food we ordered even after asking the waiter where is the rice & soup. Waiter was in her own world, chicken was not really cooked all the way through to my taste. Asked for more yum yum sauce, chef refused to give more.

My soup was cold even after requesting a hot one! The server was new and overwhelmed which he took out on us. And the cook was very late!

My chef was excellent, very funny, I’ve been here plenty of times but this was one of the better times because of the down to earth chef. The server seemed very overwhelmed and forgot a few things though unfortunately.

Benihana is the type of hibachi restaurant you go to when you want to pay more for the food but be disappointed in the quality. Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food received. It was just meh. I didn’t hate my food but I have no motivation or desire to return.
Our chef, Ron, was a wonderful entertainer and cook. He made our family's birthday celebration a memorable evening. It was actually more pleasant than previous visits due to the decreased noise level resulting from fewer diners in the restaurant.
I hadn"t dined at a Benihana in many years and I was severely disappointed. The service was extremely slow. I was provided with paper napkins. There was zero ambiance and we did not receive our green tea included with our meals. This place is over priced and not worth it.

Food was good, service was excellent. Staff was a little confused about our reservation. But overall good experience. We will return.
Chef was really good,although he forgot my shrimp and had to go back to get some. Waitress was on her first day and clearly was over-matched. She was nice enough, but didn’t really know the menu and messes up our drink order.
The person that answers the phone needs to work on their customer service. The food was subpar and there seemed to not be enough workers because the person serving us seemed to be scrambling.
Didn’t have many severs. We were there for almost 20 minutes before we even got seated. Waited another 30 minutes just to order drinks. Water had stuff floating in it. Servers were running around crazy because so many people were there. Only 2 servers taking orders for 7-8 tables full of people!
Wanted to go out and support local restaurants during this pandemic. However waiter refused to wear facemask appropriately after several requests even by the manager . additionally servers weren’t wearing gloves. This makes it difficult to want to support others that won’t even protect the general public.

The cook was great and the service was good. However, the food or our drink made us all sick. I'm not sure what happen but for almost 200 dollars, that was very disappointing. I am going to call and try to get some type of refund because that is rediculous.
TOT is the worst chef in the establishment. I asked for my steak medium well and it was well.. he continued to cook it when I asked him to stop then ARGUED with me when I told him it wasn’t well done! I asked him to get garlic butter and he yelled for the waiter then kept cooking. When I finally got it, it wasn’t cooked on my food like I wanted. This is my second bad experience this year and I wrote you guys then too so I DO NOT expect anything to change. I may have to take my business... which is almost 2-3 times a month elsewhere going forward
I always enjoy Benihana! The entertainment is just as good as the food!
The host was rude when we first got there. Rochelle the waitress just didn’t have it together. The 5 of us were celebrating my sisters birthday, which we notified prior to and told the chef, but no cake or singing. She continued to give us settings for 4 people, the chef had to keep asking her to do things as she would forget and she forgot to order my entire meal. Curtis the chef was amazing, entertaining, funny and the food was cooked perfectly! We left after dinner as Curtis was the only friendly person working there. We did not even take a group picture as they never brought cake.

We waited over an hour for a chef to cook food. Why to long ghey where not busy She never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee ..it was my sons birthday asked them do something for him. NOTHING .could not use his bday certificate for free dinner. You think with covis they make a exception!!!
We wanted to try a new hibachi restaurant. I researched reviews and found this one. Overall it was “ok”, I felt the quality of food wasn’t that great. The service was excellent. I’m not a picky eater but for the cost of hibachi I expect better quality food. I didn’t have a bad experience here, just sharing my opinion.
