Everything was great. The cook was great and the food was great.
Fast service. Nice waitress. Good food. But the time for food to come out and start takes a while.
We were seated at 7:40 pm. At 8:45 pm a manager came to apologize for the delay. Our order was not entered. We ended up getting a discount on our food.
I usually really enjoy my times at Benihanas. This time service was a tad bit slow. Had to wait for drinks, soup and salad quite a bit longer. But the food was excellent as usual.
I told our server 3 times, I wanted the steamed rice, not the fried rice. Our chef came, pointed at me, fried rice. I said NO, steamed rice please. He made me fried rice. I said again, I want steamed not fried rice. He asked the server where is her steamed rice. Of course I was charged for fried rice. I do not like fried rice. NOT a happy customer. I realize during these times, things get messed up. It was not busy, however how can you not just bring the steamed rice? The bill paying got messed up. I paid for the meal of the person we were with The server said working on that. Good news, that was fixed. We love Benihana very much. Very high priced for a middle to lower class of service. Where it could all have been classy.
Over the years we've eaten in Benihanas in many parts of th world. Japanese restaurant are usually known for their order, cleanliness, and fresh food. This restaurant lost on all counts. We booked through Open Table for 7:45pm. Arrived at 7:30 and sat the bar which until called at 8:05pm. We sat and froze in the AC until 9pm when our hibachi chef arrived. We finally left at 10:05pm. The food was presented as expected. But it was overprice and overcooked, except for the rice that included crunchy undercooked portions.
The biggest negative was that the dirtiness of the whole restaurant. We didn't want to touch anything — the dirty entry door, the sticky bar top with a joint filled with old rice; dirty rest room doors and floors, unclean hibachi table top/ floor carpet/seating chairs. The facility is not just past its prime...it's a hazard. In this virus season, I've have more concern about other pathogens. We will not be back.
As we were leaving, one at the other diners at our hibachi quipped, 'Had I know how long this would take, I'd have packed a lunch!'
The overall experience was amazing but I had a problem with the room being extremely Cold!!
The food is always sooo delicious!!! Unfortunately the last time I went my chef didn't use the garlic butter that we all come for, and I paid for extra hibachi veggies.. I didn't get them!!! The service is always A1, and the food omg is flavorful!! But my last experience wasn't all that. I'll be back next week lol 😉. I hope they got it together lol because I no we have bad days sometimes.
I had not gone in years and thought I’d try it. The food is good. But for the cost, the restaurant is really run down and dirty.
Our lunch started out great with good service but after soup and salads were served we waited almost a hour for our chef to come out. They also never offered us seconds on our alcoholic beverages. The chef was very quite and not the experience that we are used to with hibachi meals. We were very disappointed.

I had an reservation for 1:45pm didn’t get seated til 2:15 than by 3:00 was still waiting at the table for a cook. We walked out AWFUL SERVICE and the two ladies at the desk are VERY UNINVITING👍🏾

I was there to celebrate a friends birthday, it was 30 minute wait but the food was good. Donate was the chef, he was cordial and food was good.
The food and service was wonderful! The only con is that it was freezing cold in the restaurant, which made it hard to enjoy the delicious food.
Table next to us had a leak from ceiling and nobody from staff acknowledged it until we said something.
The food is always amazing. I have to dine there at least once a month.

Traveling to the area for a weekend trip. The food was good. Not happy about lunch being cancelled and the overall price inflation.
I’m guessing they are struggling to stay profitable post pandemic.
We had a good experience but as a long time Benihana diner (20+ years) I was shocked by the revisions to their pricing model.

My friend treated me to dinner but we were disappointed. We sat at the table for over a hour before the chef came. A hour sitting there. If I make a 3p reservation, I expect the chef to be there much faster than after 4pm. The food was bland. The chef didn’t season anything, just lots of oil. The fried rice tasted like plain white rice with veggies. The steak had no taste. The waitress charged the wrong card for the meal as well and we were out $100 for a couple days due to that error. This place was not my pick but it was my friend’s and we wasted time and funds.
We had an 8pm reservation. We got our soup and salad at 8:45. The soup had plastic in it. The manager came and apologized and offered us a discount on the soup only. Our chef finally came at 9:10pm
I’ve eaten at this location before and as usual the food and services were very good.
When you go ask for Kylie! She is one of the best in the service industry. She was very attentive and had great anticipation. She made my family and I feel like more than customers for the time you are with Kylie you will feel like family. She even sang to us in Japanese!!

Prices are too high for the amount of food u get and drinks are way overpriced. The waiter also did not know what he was doing.
Everything was great, we took our 7 year old there as a belated birthday dinner. Our chef was extremely entertaining for him and was very friendly. Food was fantastic and staff was friendly.
Awesome dinner! The chef was super upbeat and kept us laughing the whole time. He was amazing with my niece. The servers were on top of their game. I definitely will be coming back.
I have ate at Benihana's several times in the past in TriCounty and also in Texas. I was extremely this time. The food was not that good tasted like oil too much cooking oil r whatever the use on the grill. With this experience I would seriously have to think about returning which is really sad because it was my favorite place to eat. The people that sat at the other end of the table was great there very friendly. The cook not friendly at I have never had this kind of experience here or at any other Benihana's.
Was a bit warm, perhaps ventilation was not working at 100%. Food was YUMMY!

It was my birthday celebration. Food and cooking performance were good. It is just not even close to worth the cost of dining there. $250 for a normal meal for 4 people is just outrageous for the value. I could have gone to a premier steakhouse for that.
We go a few times a year. Sign up for the birthday club deal. You get a discount. Consistently good food and love the Blue Ocean drink. Always a pleasure to go back.
